Years passed and Father really did what he said. He visits me annually and gives me gifts like expensive dresses and valuable jewels. He also gave me a talking sword, a sword with a dark red ruby ingrave at the handle. But I don't think he can hear it curse at him.

I'm now 10, I can still remember my past life and my present memories in this world.

The Empire we are in is Laer and the one who proclaimed war against us is the Nation of Shait.

Our empire believes in Dhaer, who is the God who gives and creates life, the one who also gave me a second life. While the Nation of Shait they believe in fairies, spirits and beasts as theiir deity.

The war was purely the result of misunderstanding and in denial minds of others beliefs.

Now that the God Dhaer gave the Empire of Laer a savior, the Nation of Shait became more aggressive at the war. They already took 1/4 of the lands in the East. Father is becoming more worried that's the reason he remarried and put some magic to the child inside of the second wife.

The night of my mother's death and my birth, father hid me in this mansion where he also put some magic in me making my appearance change. From my red eyes into blue and silver hair into red though the flowers still hide away from my presence while the earth is still because of my pledge.

The divine power Dhaer gave me was talking with everything who has life, everything he created and everything that is pure.

The coming of age in this world is 15 so I still have 5 years to practice my magic and swordsmanship.

As the God said, I need to stop the war of this world. As I grow up in the streets in my past life and killing to win in this world in normal I just think I can g through everything.

"Milady!! Where are you milday!? The Duke is here!!" I can hear Lucia shout as I ran through the garden and climbed a tree.

Through his visits here, I just simply got impatience and uninterested. The 10 years without him is fine especially when I'm with Lucia, Greg, Yskael, Jion, Shen and Sir Ceao. I'm simply neglected by him.

He visits, then leaves just giving gifts and not love.

I just got tired of his presence, especially his stories about his new child.

"Milady" I heard Sir Ceao say behind me and lagre hands engulf my waist making me lean intto a broad shoulder.

"That's not a right way to hold a lady, Sir Ceao"

"My apologies but the Duke is looking for you, he's with the second miss" he chuckled and help me get down the tree.

"But I don't want to see him" I throw some tantrums before Sir Ceao lifted me up the ground.

"You need to get yourself clean and meet the Duke and second Miss" he chuckled as he held me in his arms, I just pouted at him.

Sir Ceao walked to the bathroom and Lucia cleaned me up saying how I look like a commoner going through the mud. She was just blabbering staffs that I forgot my etiquette and class, well... I just pouted.

"Now milady, you need to meet the Duke and the second miss which is your half sister" Lucia said while arranging my hair.

"Do I really need to? He neglected me already" what I said made Lucia gasp and stop at what she was doing. She turned me around, making me face her.

"Listen to me, milady the Duke hasn't and did not neglect you. He is only protecting you" she hugged me after saying that and continued my hair after.

"Let's go meet the Duke and your sister milady" Sir Ceao held my hand and guide me through the llibrary.

"Sir Ceao?" I called him, making us stop and his attention turned to me.

"What is it milady?"

"Please promise me, you'll be by my side" I told him making the puppy eyes.

Ir was true, I was longing for love so what I said just now is to have someone like him by my side, someone who'll love me after everything ends.

He let go of my hand and got down to one of his knee, then he held my right hand kissing it.

"I swear, in the name of the God Dhaer, he who created life that I take this oath to stay by my lady's side. Forever and 'till my life ends, as my life will be forever my lady's to take" what he said made me dropped my jaw. He just took an oath, an oath that will make me his master. He kissed the back of my hand and got up, smiled at me and continued walking like nothing happened.

"Shall I knock milday?" he asked as we finally reached the library.

"Can we not go in?" he frowned at what I said and opened the dorr with out knocking.

"Greetings my Lord and my second Lady" he bowed and smiled at them, I could distinguish the venom at the last words.

"Same as usual Sir Ceao, you still don't know how to knock" my father said while smiling.

"Greetings to the Lord and second Lady" I bowed and just stayed emotionless by the sight of them. I feel disgusted at her hair and eyes, copycat.

"How's life in here August?"

"I'm fine father, Sir Ceao and Lucia has been looking at me"

"Seat, my dear" I did as what he said, Sir Ceao just stayed standing at my back.

"You should introduce yourself Augustine" it made me more disgusted as how she's named and how her apperance is made to look like me.

"Greetings to my older sister and Knight Ceao, I am Augustine Clementina Esquello" look at how arrogant she is, she's just a bait for the predators. No flower will hide from her!

"I am August Esquello my dear sister" I answered as I bowed my head.

I could feel the eyes of the darn copycat being sharp at me, it's like she's checking me out, checking how weak I am. That feeling made me roll my eyes. The audicity of this bastard!

"Now that I have seen how much you've grown now August, you should return to the Imperial Capital now"

"Wait! Father you said I'll only go back after my coming of age!" I can't hold my self to not slammed the table, there's no way he's planning something much worst than this.

"You should be able to carry yourself, you need to be introduced now!" this is the first time he raised his voice to me.

"Augustine, you should explore the household. Let's us talk alone, escort her Ceao" he coldly said and even hesitating Ceao did what the Duke ordered.

As soon as the door closed and the two left the room, father gave me a paper with the sign of the household of Esquello and Imperial court saying that every member of the nobles should be present at the ball.

"This is the time for you to finally be introduce" I can't seem to comprehend what he said, I excused myself and tried to relax at my room.

So the time he'll acknowledge me and introduce me to the capital came.

"So what happened?" I heard the ruby talked to me, this ruby contains a spirit that is known as the element of fire. His name is Prim.

"I'll be introduce to the Imperial Capital" I heave a sigh.

"So it is the time, your role should be filled now"

"I also met my copycat"

"The bait that the Duke made?"

"Yes" I said and got up trying to grab Prim. "Let me just hug you Prim, I need someone to just hold"
