LOGINI freaked out at the sudden disturbance. I had no knowledge on what we were supposed to do.she
I noticed the door come open slowly and turned in the direction. "Come on in." Lolita yelled at us.
"You two were in on this!" The weird man realized just then that he'd been fooled. He tried to come after Grace and I. Grace rushed inside but I permitted my instincts to act on their will. I cocked the gun in my hands, not knowing how I managed to and pulled the trigger with a determined effort.
I shot into the ceiling and that temporarily got him to back away.
"We ain't trying to kill anyone." Luke yanked me in on the closing door, getting me to stop the gun.
He hugged me once we were both in and the door closed in on us.
"I thought we lost you guys." I said, snuggling him tight against my chest. "Why were you taking so long? Didn't you find the primary source?!"
"We did. My dad has been trying to hack into it, so it self destructs but he's been unable to, the wifi is so slow here and we're trying really hard." He explained turning back to his father, "dad, how much more?"
"We're at seventy nine percent now. That's been happening for three minutes, ugh!" He groaned in frustration.
"I think we should hurry up!" Grace panicked. The door was being hit with a harsh force from outside. They were trying to break the strong metal down.
"Uh oh, what do we do if they actually get in?" I panicked, moving away from the door.
"We fight." Lolita charged her fists at the door. She was ready to take charge.
"But our army is small, gosh, we're so dead meat!"Grace began to sob.
"Listen, nobody is going to panic, I'm not sure how many times I've said that by now." Luke pulled out a few gadgets out of his suit. "You've got your laser rings, charge at any possible attack, but be careful against striking someone from this side." He suggested.
The red lights were still blinking fast. "Come on, come on, eighty one percent now."
"Wait, if it self destructs, how then will we get rid of the gas?" Fear creeped in. Who knew if ending the gas was going to be responsible for the permanent pollution?
"Don't worry, my dad has auto reversed it. As soon as the machine self destructs, the world will be in its normal shape once more." Luke assured me.
It was unbelievable, we were only a few percentages to the solution we required.
"How do we hold them out? What happens if they come in and disrupt the whole system, causing us to lose everything we've worked hard for?"
"Then the liar gas becomes permanent and irreversible. They mustn't disrupt, how much longer dad?!" I heard the panic in his voice as well.
"Eighty- five percent done now." Damon yelled back.
"We don't have much time, I don't think we can hold them back from coming in any longer." It was indeed a fifty to fifty chance. It could be the end of the world as we knew it.
"Oh come on, for love's sake. Anything to hold them down for a while?" I frowned. I was ready to take everything in me just to hold them from coming close.
"We could try the frost gun. Here," Luke added, giving one to Grace and I. "Quick, spray as much as you can. We've got to fill this place up." He commanded.
Grace and I were lost on what to do but following in his steps, we sprayed the door as much as we could. "This won't last long I tell you." I pointed out.
"Damon, how much more to go?" I asked. The men by the door were not ready to stop.
I noticed the steam coming from the door. It was going to be down any minute from now.
"They're melting it!" Lolita warned, coming to stand in front of us like some sort of shield.
"Everyone get your lasers on!" She commanded. A huge hole was replacing a large part of the door.
A storm of the army flooded in, taking us aback. They were led by the weird high pitched man. His eyes wandered off to the primary source and Damon positioned himself on it. "Get him!" He yelled at the whole bunch of security men and scientists blended in an army.
They attempted to charge at Damon but neither of us were having it. Regardless of their number, we charged the lasers from the ring at them and with every step forward, they were crashing to the ground and going unconscious.
That was the laser upgrade Lolita had done.
"How long do they stay unconscious?" I wondered.
"Thirty minutes long." She informed despite how occupied we currently were.
"Ninety two percent, keep them busy, we're almost there." Damon yelled at us.
If it was to self destruct, it would cause major damage. We needed to get out of the room if we wanted to be alive by the time this was over.
As if Lolita could read my mind, she said, "once it's one hundred percent, it will destroy in ten minutes." She informed, still shoiting lasers.
"That man is trying to deactivated the amozor. At least now we knew what to call it by.
"Save it, no matter what you do, it'll be too late!" Damon yelled at him. I found it a stupid act. It wasn't right unless it was a certified victory.
Grace aimed her laser at one of the security but he was smart to use a shield to disrupt the beam. It reversed and hit Grace instead.
She fell to the floor unconscious and the leader of the team halted their steps. "Stop!" He yelled. Silence filled the room and it instantly felt like the whole scene that had unravelled just now had never happened.
"Get the girl instead." I ordered.
"No!" I gasped, attempting to rush to Grace's side but they were faster. Two of the scientists picked her up from the floor.
"If you don't deactivate that amozor, we'll get rid of her permanently." An evil smirk grew on the man's face and was soon followed by a huge gun directed at Grace's forehead.
"You have ten seconds!" He barked in anger. I saw beyond his anger, he was more scared than angry.
"Ten, nine, eight…" he began to yell.
"Wait! Don't make any irrational decisions. The child has no offense in this." Lolita tried to speak in Grace's defense.
"Six, five.." he kept counting, ignoring her speaking.
The gun was cocked and Luke held me back from running to free Grace. "No!" I wailed, struggling to pull free so I could be in her embrace but it was to no avail.
"Please let me go! I have to help her." I pleased, soaking my face in my tears.
"Don't do anything to her." Damon warned, "I'll do as you say." He said, and pressed a few buttons.
A few seconds later, a robotic voice filled the room, "self destruction deactivated."
"Shit." Luke mmumbled, letting go off me. Our plans, everything had eventually gone to waste. It's all in vain.
"Attack them!" He ordered in the loudest voice. The once upon a frozen army charged at us, two of the men holding her let go of Grace.
I should have known. It had all been for nothing.
Damon got down from the amozor while Lolita, Luke and I rushed to lift Grace from off the floor.
They tried to follow after us. Damon caught up with us and beckoned that we left through the hole.
"How far was the percentage when you deactivated it?!" I yelled as we charged in unknown direction. Luke had secured Grace on his back.
"Ninety-eight." He informed. They were all hot on our trail and the man who had led them led them after us still.
"How could you have been so stupid?!" I cried in agony.
"It was the only way he could let go of your friend." He shrugged.
"You could have waited." I still believed he had no right excuse to defend himself in this matter. "All we've laboured for is gone, all ruined. I swear we have to use the time run."
"That's if we manage to get out of here alive." Luke yelled, panting heavily from the strength he delivered to speed.
"Oh we will alright." Damon's face pulled into a smirk. "I'm not an idiot." I activated the self destruction button, that was just a programmed voice I used on him. That's why I beckoned we got out of there. I knew the whole bunch would go after us." He threw a speaker phone from his huge briefcase at his wife. She caught it and waited for his explanation.
"I've hacked the speakers of this lab, once ten minutes are over, announce in the speakers. There will be confusion for a few minutes but ensure to clarify." He instructed.
"Got it." She nodded in understanding.
"But ten minutes is a really long time, how are we supposed to get rid of things, who knows if we wouldn't be dead meat by the time that's up?" I pointed out. It was as if for every suggestion, there was a problem that followed.
"Which is why I need us cornered. I need a distraction so we can step out of these suits and drink from Luke's trioxoabsorbonate IV." Damon spoke on. He was as fast as a man in a racing contest that it was almost impossible to make out the words he was saying.
"I think I know a way." Luke said. "Ariyah, pull out a test tube from my breast pocket." He commanded and stopped walking for a mini second.
I did as he said and handed it to Lolita. "Is that a smokescreen?" She wondered.
"Yes!" Luke retorted.
She knew what next to do. She used the smokescreen to buy us enough time for a distraction.
Soon, we were out of their sight and hiding in a corner of the huge lab. We hurriedly got out of the suits, I helped an unconscious Grace. I filled her mouth with the trioxoabsorbonate IV and watched her disappear. Every one of us took a mighty sip and soon were as invisible as could be.
"We can head towards the van and wait there till it's all over. Damon spoke.
"We've got to be extra careful with Grace, we don't want to lose track of her." I told them. She was the most important element in my head at the moment.
I felt Luke search for my hand and once he found it, he held me tight and together, we lifted Grace. We continued in this manner towards the van.
"Shit, the main entrance's been locked away from view." I panicked.
"Don't worry. We'll be invisible for as long as we want to be…" Luke assumed his role of calming me down. He couldn't finish his sentence because he was interrupted by a loud explosion sound. The amozor, it had been destroyed. Yes!
"Attention everyone!" Lolita spoke into the speakerphone just like Damon had ordered previously.
"I know you're all confused as to where you are or why you're here but remain calm." The loud muttering from the confused souls that had been set free from the chain of control they were in.
"You were all under someone's hypnosis. You possibly know about the liar gas but our help was needed to keep it going.
"What?!" A scientist from in front of us said. "But that makes no sense."
They were back! I squealed in delight. I almost dropped Grace from the burst of excitement. It was unbelievable news.
"We need to attack before he slips away." Lolita continued to render.
All I could think of at the moment was how the world was back to its place. I needed to know what it was like, to leave these walls and live the lying life freely.
The world was back!

"Help! Please!" Screams continue to fill in the air as everything was down in flames and there I was in the corner. Terrified and shivering as I see wolves ripping apart everyone they could see."Sarah! Run! Get out of here before it's too late!" My mother shouted as I see my father getting mauled in the distance. Sending shivers and terror into my soul. The blood spilling everywhere as I see my mother desperately trying to distract the wolves so that I could escape.I stood there shocked at first but I knew that standing around wouldn't do much. With a heavy heart, I took a deep breath, and as I was instructed. I ran away from the area. Not turning back to see what happened to my parents.I was just a frail little girl. Scared and alone as I saw right before my eyes how my village burned to the ground and my parents killed in front of me.I.. "HELP ME PLEASE!" I shouted into the night sky as trees surround me but neither hide nor hair is there to listen
"This is your baby's heartbeat."From the monitor screen connected to the transducer on my stomach, I could see that my baby was still tiny. Maybe I can say it looks like a lump of meat. Over there is the source of my baby's heartbeat. This miracle had not happened in last month's examination."Your baby's heart rate is normal." Doctor Luke said."Really? How do you know?"In a reclining position, I glanced at Sean. At first, he refused to take me to the hospital, but he suddenly agreed, and now asked questions as if he cared. Sean folded his arms, and his expression looked worried too. Why is Sean worried?"The frequency is stable, 145. You can listen carefully too." Doctor Luke loo

Power surged her anger rising. Trying to catch my breath that was knocked out me, I shakily get to my hands and knees in time for her to flick her wrist again. This time feeling something grip my arms slamming me into the wall, my feet barely touching the ground as, I'm pinned to the wall by an invisible force. Agatha cocks her head to the side a mischievous smile, taking up her face. My air supply is suddenly cut off. I could feel the blood pulsing in my face, my throat felt like it was being crushed at the pressure on my windpipe from the invisible hands that gripped my throat. I could feel as my face change colour, my lungs screaming at me for air. I was choking.... dying....Turning her palm upright, I watched as a sphere started to form. Balancing on her open hand, growing in size and burning brightly. It looked like a smoke cloud with lightening trapped inside. This was it.... This is how I die.... I watch in horror as she throws the
