"Are you people trying to scare me to death?" Clara patted her chest while staring at The four people.

Alex, Liam, Brian and Robert stated at her with an icy expression. She inhaled and exhaled deeply before looking at them.

But seeing their cold expressions, she stepped back. "What?"

Alex rubbed his temples. "Do you know that no one can pass the doors without your permission? We could see you adventurously entering the dining room and then coming out and Brian almost fainted from anger as he tried over and over to enter it."

"Oh? The gate can only pass those that I let? How interesting..." She turned her head towards the wall and opened a gate. "I wanted to see if it's possible."

The direct door to the fifth floor. She happily clapped her hands. "This is amazing. Hmmm. Tomorrow please bring your people here. We shall take a trip to all stores in the city. And we can safely raid all the nearby buildings."

Alex could see she ignored the sentence where Brian wanted to help so he shrugged. Everything needs time. "Don't you think its better if we put it inside the big storage directly. The big wall is growing and snow is getting bigger. We must find more materials. We can use the excuse about bringing it from the underground passageway."

Clara wanted to keep it secret but gave up. "Then make a way to transport stuff. I can open the gate to another building site and then to the third points where we could scavenge stuff. You would go with people there and gather stuff and bring it to build the big wall. At the same time, another dozen people can come with me and I'll transport most of the things directly to the storage." She will use one as an excuse to take care of others.

They had to accept and left her while she was calculating on the map how far away the gates were. Brian stood by the door and sighed. "I think you having such an amazing power is great, but please take a few of us with you next time."

As he left saying that Clara stopped calculating and shook her head. She has no time for romance now, no matter how cute he was. But indeed this action now was reckless.

She opened the gate to the fifth floor and entered. Mia was there and dropped the water can she used to water plants.

"M... mother?" She could see Clara smiling brightly.

"I just found out we have powers. I was trying out mine. By the way, the way I understood, you and Ian have the power of speed. Tessa power of water and our little one has nature and earth." Clara smiled brightly.

"Speed?" Mia thought of something and suddenly appeared right next to Clara. "Wow."

Even Clara was amazed and thought of something. "Let's get the kids. I want you all to use your powers. I need to know how long you can use it before getting tired."

Mia smiled brightly. "Powers. I read about it in books, but who would have believed. "

Clara slowly walked down but appeared fast on the first floor. Did she just use her power of speed as well?

But, how comes everyone in this building has powers? The way Alex spoke not many humans has powers. Or is the experiment reason? No matter what, she felt a bit more sure with this.

When they entered the floor she saw Brian and Robert playing with children and one more bothersome thing. Or should she let it go?

Tessa stared at Brian with dreamy eyes. He was the best looking man even in Clara's eyes. Reliable and trustful on top of it, no wonder Tessa would fall head over heels on him. She sighed.

"Brian. Robert, kids there is something to tell you." They could see her serious expression and were curious.

"I'll first show you something, close the blinds.  And curtains as well." They have pit up the curtains and blinds while ago in all room on the first floor.

They rushed to do so as they knew that she planned to show them something. When she saw them looking she smiled and a door to an empty hall opened. "Let's go. I think you people need to see something."

They saw her walking through the door and Robert and Brian took their weapons with them. At least this time she is going to take them with her.

Looking at the huge cold empty place they turned their heads to her. Brian and Robert already heard about the changes from Alex, but lids not yet.

"Since the humans survived means we became stronger. Look. I can open doors in the city. I don't know how long will my power last, but I wanted you to try your powers where not many people could see you. First Ian and Mia. Run around the building and check if there are closed-door that could be open. Do not open them. After that just run as fast as you can and see how long you can use the skill."

Mia and Ian suddenly looked at each other and disappeared. It's not that they couldn't be seen, they were just too fast for the normal human eye.

She turned her head towards Tessa and door outside. "Try releasing as much water as you can. There is a river nearby so the water will flow down naturally. Try using it until you are tired. But stop there. OK?"
