“What’s happening, Nurse?”. “Give me a minute let me go get the doctor”. The hospital had a SKYPE account. The nurse checked the patients file and got the doctor that was in charge when they brought him in. It was Dr. Ghenehro, acting doctor for Dr. Samuel during his one month leave. She established an internet connection with doctor Ghenerho and told him everything that was happening to his recent evening patient. She came back to the ward carrying a laptop on her arms. Dr. Ghenerho was at home. He video chat showed that he was in his night wear and in his bedroom. “How do you feel boy”, said Dr. Ghenerho from the screen of the laptop. “He is a friend”, said the nurse. “I don’t know who he is. I don’t who any of you are”, he said. “Calm down, my name is Dr. Oghenerho but if it makes you feel better you can call me Mike”, said Dr. Ghenerho.”I am a friend”.
“I am friends with your father”, said Chika. “You had an accident and they are here to help you get better”, said Chika referring to the nurse the the nurse and Dr. Ghenerho. Wole’ body temperature began to rise. He was sweating profusely.”Nurse, give him a tranquilizer immediately”, said Dr. Ghenerho. “What is that?”, Wole asked. “Don’t worry, you will be fine”, said the nurse as she made him lie flat on the bed. She inserted a tranquilizer into his drip bag. Soon Wole was fast asleep. “Madam, I am afraid to say that the young boy here is suffering from amnesia. What I don’t know yet is if it would be temporary or it would be permanent. I would come back tomorrow to conduct some tests so as to confirm which side he is on, right now he has to have some rest. It is important that you don’t do anything that would stress him out. Nurse, run him a neurological scan and I want results when I come by tomorrow”, said the doctor as he terminated the connection. “Madam, I would have to take him to the Magnetic Resonanc Imaging(M.R.I) test room".“It’s getting really late, you need to have some rest of your own”. “Rest, I will have my fill of rest when the boy is alright”. Hurriedly, Chika sent a text to Charles about Wole’ condition. Charles was pleased. It was an opportunity to have the memories Wole had deleted forever and new ones to be stalked in, memories of Wole being his son.
