Chapter 0010

I wore a plain white shirt and a regular jean with my favorite vans.  My hair was neatly done, I guess I was ready for the dinner. *sigh*.  "Mom it’s time, are you ready yet? I don't wanna be late 'cause I don't think dad would like that mom " I shouted out to Mom while heading downstairs.

"Am right behind you sweety, just fixing your sisters hair" mom responded from the kitchen. I opened the door and outside was a limo with the door open.  I was surprised and nervous but after I felt moms hand behind me I felt relieved and I lead mom towards the car. The man from this afternoon was standing beside the door holding it open." your father awaits you at the castle" he said while shutting the door behind us.

We stopped in front of the castles’ massive doors and like the man had said Dad was standing beside a poll waiting for us. He had some people around him, people I didn't recognize from anywhere probably his coworkers.

"Hey Dad what's going on, this huge dude came to the house today and was like we were invited to dinner and that you'd be here too. Isn't that a bit weird Dad?" I tried explaining to Dad." Yeah he's kinda my new boss and I guess he just wants to be acquainted  with everyone, but please do me a favor lad?  Make sure to speak only when spoken too, OK..?" Dad said to me while fixing his tie and hair.

The castle doors opened, someone similarly to the buffed man stood there and said we could enter. The castle halls was beautiful, the floors were so sparkling clean you could see yourself in it. 

Paintings and sculptures were everywhere but no family pictures. I saw Alberto's Giacometti's L'HOMME AU DOIGT {pointing man or man pointing} which is about $141.3 million dollars worth. Also Damien's First sculpture FOR THE LOVE OF GOD which was produced in 2007, It was made of a platinum cast of an 18th century human skull encrusted with 8,601 flawless diamonds including a pear shaped pink diamond located in the forehead which is known as the SKULL STAR DIAMOND. Don't get me wrong I am not an art freak or anything I just randomly happen to know about this particular arts.

We stopped in front of another huge door and I knew whatever was behind these doors would give me the answers I needed. The door opened with just a push by the guy escorting us, like it wasn't made out of metal or it didn't weigh anything. 

If I was to  judge moms cooking the other day I'd be shitting myself ' cause the table that was set on the dining table was like a feast.  The food was too much; we weren't even 20 people in total. I am a person that hated it when food was wasted; so seeing this much food I knew it would either go to waste or we'll end up stuffing ourselves. 

After we all settled around the table I was now able to scan through everyone in the room. Sitting at the table were moms or dads with their child, they should be around my age I thought to myself. I really wasn't looking forward to know anyone so I just  turned away from them and faced my dad instead.

They were all well behaved and awkwardly silent.  After a few minutes everyone turned their heads to the door that suddenly opened.  A very tall and well built man walked into the hall. He was intimidating and he had a very strong aura around him that made everyone stand when they noticed him. Nobody looked his way but here was stupid old me looking at him trying to figure out how a man could look so big and tall and huge.

He walked to the table in all his glory with a lady who I figured was his wife. He nodded and everyone sat down after him. I was able to take a good look at him.  He had coal black hair with light brown skin. He wore a red and black suit that fitted his body perfectly, his wife wore a simple red gown that glued to her body and brought out her perfect figure. She was the most beautiful lady in the room ** next to mom and Charlotte that is **. For a sec I thought I saw his eyes glowing red; I was probably tired or my mind was playing tricks on me. 

"Welcome and sorry for the delay we had a few issues we had to dispose of, let's waste no more time and eat; after we can go straight to business " the man spoke in a deep voice  that sent shivers down my spine.

Half an hour later everyone was done eating, the man cleared his throat and everyone was silent again. "Since we're done eating I'll like to go straight to business. The kids will be escorted to a separate room where they can all bond and get to know each other.  Everything we're about to do today is for their sake and future " He said while gesturing to the bulky guy to take us away.

The room we were taken to have lots of games and fun stuff generally, but I wasn't able to do anything 'cause my nerves were eating at me. I stood somewhere in the corner of the room observing everyone. Most of the kids seem to know each other because they were all chatting and gaming, nobody even noticed me apart from a girl and a dude who we're staring at me intensively. They had this look like they hated me or something.

I was brought out of my world of thought and imagination when some guy walked up to me introducing him-self.  At first I wasn't really interested in making friends or anything but he had a genuine, mischievous but friendly smile. "Wassup dude, you're new here right? I figured 'cause you smell different and you haven't been doing anything apart from studying everyone.  My name is Alexander but you can call me Alex " he said while extending his hand for a hand shake. " I'm Charles, and yeah I kinda don't know what were suppose to do but seems you all already figured that out and what's with those two? "I couldn’t stop myself from asking.

"You're human; I knew it from the moment I saw you man. Your scent wasn't that strong until now tho." Alex responded with a little bit of surprise in his voice. What did he mean I was Human, he's a freaking human too, we all are *right?*. OK that sounded a bit weird I thought to myself. "So Alex if Mr. Black is hosting this dinner why ain’t his kids here or what?" I asked Alex who couldn't give an answer but it seemed he knew who they were, maybe they we friends or something else. I wonder what they looked like.

After 2 hours of talking and getting to know Alex better; he was a good guy. Everyone was heading to their various destinations now and in a few minutes we were also home. I tried asking dad what his meeting was about but he just squeezed my shoulder, smiled and left to his room with mom. I went to my room, jumped on my bed, I didn't even try taking off my clothes because I had to sleep.  

Tomorrow was another school day but I couldn't stop thinking about how tonight went.  I also forgot to exchange digits with Alex and I was curious about those twins Alex kept talking about. I had a feeling we would meet sooner than expected, guess time would tell....
