Have you ever seen the fear in a man’s eye when he's looking at a boss ass bitch?

Well today was my lucky day, because after waking up from my nap, I got ready in my tight black dress that went to my mid-thigh and was long sleeves.

I had my blonde locks in curls with some mascara on my lashes.

I had a gun in my silver clutch I was carrying just in case for backup.

I slowly descended from the stairs to see all of my men at the bottom waiting for any calls I will make.

I see the guy I shot in the foot standing tall in a cast with crutches beside Johnny boy.

This should be intriguing.

I look and see Giovani standing at the end of the steps waiting for me.

"Everything is clean, boss" the guy that I shot in the foot says.

I see Giovani raise in eyebrow and put his hand behind his back ready to pull his gun at any second.

Johnny boy clears his throat "I'm sorry boss for hitting on you, it was inappropriate and won't happen again"

I nod at both of them.

"I want all of your names and ranks and jobs, I want to make this mafia stronger and not weaker" I look around to see men nodding "This is my house now and if you guys want to go to clubs or strip clubs, go to them and do not bring any of them here" they all nod again.

"Giovani will tell you the rules while I'm gone, I don't want this place to ever be dirty or have prancing naked women around, even if I'm gone for a month, I want this place to be a safe place for all of my men" I pause and look around to see all of the men staring at me "So help me God, if it's ever like this again, I will put a bullet in your brain with no words being said. Do I make myself clear?!" I shout as they all chant out yes.

I nod and walk up to Giovani; I go up to his ear "I want all of their files on my desk when I get back" he nods.

I walk away from Giovani and the men part like the Red Sea.

All of them looking at me with either 3 things, fear, respect, or both.

Some aren't even looking at me...cowards but honestly, I don't mind.

I walk out the door with my head held high and make my way to the black SUV.

I get into the back seat and see Joe in the driver’s seat "I thought I told you to go home after making them clean" I raise an eyebrow.

"Yeah whatever, I'm still driving you there" Joe mumbles and pulls out of the mansion’s driveway.

I sat there quietly thinking about how this conversation is going to go with Dax.

It could go one of 2 ways; he either wants to make a deal about allies or make a deal with shipments but there is always the possibility of both.

"Silva, we are here" Joe says and I nod and exit the car.

I walk inside the restaurant and told the way to cheery lady I was looking for Mr.Blanc's table and she cheerful took me there.

This girl had way too much pep in her step to be walking to a private area with 2 very powerful mafia bosses.

"He's right in here" she smiles widely while I look at her with no emotions.

Her smile faded a bit when I didn't smile back, and I walked into the private area.

"Nice of you to show up on time Ms. De Luca, it's unlike you" I hear Dax's voice say from beside me.

"I only show up on time when needed too" I confirm while facing Dax.

I see that he's only wearing a bottom up white dress shirt and navy slacks.

He looked sexy as hell but was I going to tell him that, fuck no.

Didn't want to boost his ego too much.

Dax smirks "Checking me out already darling?"

"Just making sure you are safe company dear" I smirk as I see his eyes fill with lust.

Dax clears his throat "Let's discuss business"

He puts his hand on the middle of my back and guides me to the table that was more of a private area with no other people at the tables beside us.

As soon as we seat, a teenage looking guy comes over "Welcome to Taste of Rome, what can I get started for you?" He says in a board tone.

Dax clears his throat and the kid looks up to see Dax glaring at him.

Then he looks at me and his eyes widen "Uh I'm sorry uh w-what c-can I get uh f-for you" he asks while stuttering a bit.

"Your finest wine and Cacio e Pepe" I say and Dax nods.

"I will have the same as her" he says with a slight smirk.

The boy runs off and now it's just Dax and I.

We just stare at each other.

The silence between us is deafening but it was as if we were comfortable with it.

"You know after not seeing you for a couple of years you have changed" Dax says while leaning back in his seat.

"So, have you" I comment back.

"Do you plan on keeping the treaty between French and American safe or do you want to break it and go into war?" Dax asks with a raised eyebrow almost challenging me to say yes.

"I will keep the treaty, but I want to make some changes" I say while looking him in the eyes.

He leans forward "Like what?"

"I want all the shipments to go through both of us and not just Giovani and I, I want you to be a close allie then far decent ones and I want you to be considered as family and not just allies" he nods.

"Deal but I want to change one more thing" I nod for him to continue.

"Let me take you on a date" I looked at him stunned.

Did he just ask me on a date?

"Give me a chance Sil, I know you have just come back but please just go on this one date, no business speak, no mafia talk, just us and if you don't want to go on another one after that date I will understand" he says almost begging me to say yes.

I look at him and bite my lip "Okay"

I look at his eyes to see relief and a little bit of joy.

The boy brings our meal and our wine, and we dig in or at least I dig in like a person who hasn't been fed for a while.

I felt a pair of eyes on me and look up to see Dax smiling while shaking his head, but I kept getting this weird feeling that someone was watching me.

I move my eyes to the left to see 2 men dressed in suits and wearing hats with some pasta in front of them, but it didn't seem like they were eating their food at all.

One of the guys looks up and I freeze.

I go back to eating like normal and look up at Dax.

"Are those your men?" I ask normally.

"Who?" He frowns.

"The men in suits seating 3 seats to the left of us"

"No" his answer was simple and normal.

"We need to go" I sip my wine and almost moan from the taste.

"Agreed" he says, and I put 200 dollars on the table and get up.

Dax stands up and moves to my side immediately.

We start walking normally to the exit and I hear chairs scraping on the floor.

We reach the exit and there are 5 SUV's outside.

"You have got to be kidding" I whisper before grabbing Dax and kissing him hungrily trying to act like some horny couple.

"Baby lets go back to the house and have some fun" I whisper in his ear seductively.

I feel him shiver before picking me up bride style and walking to his Mercedes.

I peppered kisses on his neck and made sure to hide my face.

I look over Dax's shoulder to see the men that were looking at us and shake their heads yelling that it wasn't us.

I see one guy hop out of the SUV and look at us then his black eyes meet mine and I know those black eyes from anywhere.

"Run" I whisper to Dax as I see him go to pull out his gun.

That man is the cause of my nightmares.

That man is Esteban Rodriguez.
