Se connecterPrologue 1: 21st February 2016 - Sangam Hospital, New Delhi, India.
On the dark day of 21stFebruary 2016 Mannar heard the news from her doctor. The gist of the allusive talk was that she was going to die and soon. The doctor agreed sympathetically that she may not even celebrate her eighteenth birthday which would be coming in two months. Well, Mannar didn’t know how to react to it. She laughed at first. Mannar, as any young girl from India, was bubbly and filled with desires of her vibrant future. However, as her grandmother would say, fate was to have it its way by denying her the joy of adult livelihood. Mannar, initially thought everything as a big joke, but then slowly things started to fall together. She was going to die, that is, forever. She is not going to achieve anything spectacular, she is not going to fall in love, get married and have her own family and children. She is simply going to perish like a withered summer dry leaf. Mannar was infected with multiple myeloma which was in the final stage. There was no hope for her. Mannar, after realizing this, became traumatized and started to exhibit her temper on each and everyone she came across. She cursed her fate, she cursed unseen gods, she cursed herself – but none would come to her aid.
Then, one fine morning, sitting in her special ward of Sangam Hospital, New Delhi, Mannar read an article from the newspaper. Although she couldn‘t comprehend the complete information, she understood the fact that dying people (especially from cancer for which cure was unavailable) can be cryopreserved and in future, that is, when advanced generation finds a cure for it, the same can be resurrected. Mannar was so titillated with the idea that, she began to feel better than before. Mannar begged her parents and doctors to cryo-preserve her so that she can come alive in future. However, soon she found that the process of cryopreservation is too expensive for them to afford. This very fact began to stir a lot of emotions in her and in one such emotional turmoil;Mannar wrote an email to the President of India, begging him to rescue her from the deadly clutches of death.
As a matter of fact, the President of India, normally doesn't read the email from the common populace. Luckily, on the night of 23rdFebruary, as the Karma did smile on Mannar, the President of India happen to login into his account personally and found the Mannar’s e-mail on top of his spam email list. Although all times, his assistant would clear all the spams for President, today, being not well-enough, he had taken the leave and the President, having a bad habit of reading spams, opened the email sent from Mannar. The President was so moved by her email that, he immediately made up his mind to help people like Mannar and an hour later, he directed the Prime Minister of India to grant funds needed for cryo-preservation of selected five young adults from India. Mannar from Delhi became one of the five lucky. One month later, things began to happen. Mannar in her nearly comatose state was informed about her granted wish and next procedures by her parents. Mannar barely able to hold any more, broadly smiled at them and closed her sopor eyes for the last time.
Prologue2: 23rd February 2017–Maximos Mansion,Athens, Attica, Greece.
Leonidas, in short, called as Leon, being the son of popular Prime Minister ‘His Excellency Lasonas’ was a tough young boy. He was well versed in all aspects, such like culture, sports, drama and now in military too. Leon enjoyed the highest possible attention that he got because of his father. Being nearly seven feet tall and with an equal appropriate physical attributes, Leon was the most handsome and lusted guy in Greece. Although the common populace loved him, they sympathizedhim more for a rather other reason. Leon had everything. He had a rich and popular father. He had all the money he needed. He had a wonderful family of two loving young sisters and father. He had a good sports career ahead of him. He had good profile as a young and upcoming actor. He had well mannerisms like his mother.
Everything – But not Mother.
Leon lost his mother when he was fifteen years of age. Leon’s Mother Nefeli (named as per the Greek mythology) was a wonderful woman of natural mannerism and good behavior. Although, being the house wife, she did much more than that. Most of the success of her husband’s political career and good name should be given to her. Despite, being a simple homemaker, she was more than that. She helped and encouraged her husband to build a very systematic government. She was thepersonal advisor, mentor and simply the ‘Inspiration’ of Lasonas – the present prime minister of Greece.
However, she did not live long enough to see the continual ongoing success (or perhaps misfortune!) of her family. She was diagnosed with lung Cancer. Although she never smoked or indulged herself in any such activities causing lung cancer, she was to have that malignancy. She or her family never knew or expected it. It was diagnosed in the last stage (fourth stage). When she started complaining of body pain under her lower body, Lasonas brought all the great doctors of the world. Soon they learned about her advanced lung cancer through multiple scanning and two autopsies (collected from her internal organ tissue) of some of her living cells in her body. The expert doctors predicted her to live only three months maximum. In spite of Leon being just being a teen and his father Lasonas (an acting Prime Minister – in his first tenure!), the two of did all they could to save her life. Both young boy and his father cared Nefeli and prolonged the inevitable death for two more years. Leon, the teen boy treated his own mother like his child and did all the nursing without any hesitation.
But then, the fate has its own way and it did take the life of Nefeli in her own bed room and in her own home. The whole nation shed sorrow tears about the early dismiss of the simple, yet great woman of modern Greece of that period. The life did move on to Leon and Lasonas. Soon, after another two years, Lasonas again won the heart of Greece people and became the Prime minister again for second term. Leon continued to do well in acting and sports and gained utter popularity.
Just when Leon entered nineteen years, he joined the military academy as serving in military was one of his passions. He did well there too and eagerly participated in the entire training program. Regardless, his was (is!) to have a great misfortune there too. While in a tough hard training, Leon fell of a high peeking mountain and later, with great difficulty, his body was discovered.
Lasonas and his two kid daughters had a great shock again to face. They did well enough to hold on. And with one quick new inspiration, Lasonas decided to cryopreserve his son’s body, in case if there is a (!!) a future to him at all. Hence, Leon was cryopreserved and kept on hold. Little did Lasonas or his young daughters knew that Leon, their great son and elder brother was to be the real lion of the much advanced futuristic society by name Gorbs. Little did they know that their own blood would play a very important part in saving the advanced world of future.
End of Suspended Animation:
Present Day - June 15, 2249
Dallan and Emory walked towards the door marked (Redeem Stead Z plus) RS Z+of the HoldMold base carrying a new dictum and of course, with a new mission. Bolaski, the chief CMP, has gone to visit the DDecorum in Paramount P to indulge himself with a personalized meeting with the venerable Gaffer himself. Before leaving, he has passed on the latest dictum to Emory and Dallan, and directed them to go ahead with the process of resurrection as scheduled.
The underground base totally had twenty seven big steads which hosted the cryopreserved bodies of thousands of 21stcentury primitives. There were also the cryopreserved bodies of many animals that habituated with the primitive societies. Dogs, cats, cows, tiger, elephants, monkeys and other animal bodies were preserved in the RS 18th which was termed as Cryo-Anima. The RS 11thand RS 8thhosted the cryopreserved bodies of many primitive insects, mammals and vertebrate and non-vertebrate animals as well. The stead RS 5 and RS 6 hosted only the partial organs of primitives (majorly – human brains). The RS Z+hosted the first batch of 100 cryopreserved bodies of 21stcentury humans.
The RS Z+was dimly lit and exhibited an eerie feeling due to its own atmosphere. Dallan and Emory entered it clad in their protective suit. Emory silently lighted the whole room to glorify its hosts. Although it was a scary sight to the common eye of the digital world, it was like a holy place to the CMPs and Dallan. Dallan opened his palm holocaust to check the new digital dictum, which gave them permission to start the process of resurrection of the rest of the first batch (ninety five bodies) of primitive humans. Dallan and Emory recalled the event of four days before. In the honarable presence of Venerable Gaffer, they had successfully resurrected the five selected test subjects. Esq. Mayden, being all impressed gave them the dictum of resurrecting the rest of the first batch.
Now Emory and Dallan, started working on it. Just like the last time, both started removing the liquid nitrogen from the containers. It took nearly half of the day for them to complete the first and second stages of the process. By early evening, the two completed the first two stages on all the ninety-five subjects and started working on the last stage; that is, applying Voltaic Volt, to all the subjects.
Dallan and Emory, having been connected through the telepathic node again, started working exchanging their thoughts silently.
Dallan‘s thought – Emory, do you think these primitives are lucky?
Emory’s thought – On the contrary, I don‘t. They might just not acquaint to our advanced life.
Dallan‘s thought – What made you think so?
Emory’s thought – Wow! This subject is from Russia, he was -err rather he is really handsome. Ok, back to your question Dallan, these primitives are very much prone to emotive; they just might break-down.
Dallan’s thought – Yes, I agree Emory, but then, we are going to change them by infusing Brainset. Oh! This subject is very old, probably ninety years and with an advanced carcinoma, I wonder how much this will help her?
Emory’s thought – Brainset! No – I am not convincedDallan. It would be difficult to withhold them until that, you know, perhaps it might bring chaos.
Dallan’s thought – That is only if we resurrect all the ten thousand together. Recall, as of now, the dictum calls for only one batch of one hundred subjects.
Emory’s thought - Let's see. This subject is so young; the digital tag calls her Mannar, what a strange name for an Indian girl of 21stcentury primitive.
The one CMP and one Globetrottercontinued to work in tandem and arrived at their forty fifth subject - Mannar from India.
Mannar’s body had reacted to the Nano-Conmalign well, just after two hours of internal action; her body had blossomed highlighting her brown skin. Dallan, recalling the details, took his Voltaic Volt and positioned himself in front of the subject and looked at Emory.
Dallan’s thought - Here we are, resurrecting our 50thsubjects. We are doing well, only one failure until now.
Emory’s thought – I hope this will not be a failure; I would love to talk to this brown skinned girl.
Dallan placed his palm-shaped Voltaic Volt on the subject tagged Mannar and tried twice, there was no reaction. He tried again, none. He looked up at Emory and exchanged his thought.
Dallan’s thought – Here we go, the last touch – I am not sure about this subject at all.
Dallan with utter concentration pressed it on her chest and left the voltaic volt for a long second – but nothing happened again – no signal of life from the 3D holographic screen - no beeps absolutely.
Dallan’s thought – Emory, she is a failure. Disappointed?
Emory’s thought - ??
Dallan’s thought – Emory, why are you blank?Let’s move ahead.
Emory’s thought – Dallan, let's try one more time.
Dallan’s thought – No Emory, protocol from dictum states only for four tries.
Emory’s thought – Records off - I like an unofficial try – Do it Dallan, I need this one.
Dallan’s thought – Records off – Your call Emory.
Dallan smiled at Emory and pressed the Voltaic Volt for the last time. He held it down and observed no movement, no convulsions, but still pressed held it for longer than needed. Nothing happened. Dallan took off the Voltaic Volt and looked at Emory.
Dallan’s thought – I tried Emory. Sorry to say, it seems a second failure of the day.
Dallan and Emory walked to the next container and started looking at the digital tag. Just then, both heard a long screeching type ofbreath sound and looked up at the 3D holographic screenwhich began to display zigzag lines in front of the subject forty five. Both rushed back to Mannar and peeped down at her container. Mannar was breathing very feebly!
And that marked the end of her suspended journey.

After getting an understanding of the situation, I hung up the phone. I asked Liu Longting how we should proceed; after all, they were of the same species. Listening to what Ma Jianguo had to say, Liu Longting’s expression remained unchanged. He told me we did not need to prepare anything to deal with that and could head there right away.Ma Jianguo’s house was quite a distance from mine. It was in Tieling, and I did not have a car yet so all I could do was get a train ticket. It was an approximately six-hour journey! I thought that I would have to suffer alone on the train, but unexpectedly just as I was heading out, Liu Longting casually told me to prepare his luggage. He would be sitting on the train with me. That was going to be awkward. I did not mind if he accompanied me, but why would he want to sit on the train with me. Furthermore, I did not have much to talk about with Liu Longting—it would be uncomfortable to sit together. However, since Liu Longting wanted to, I wo
"A day to our wedding, Charlotte realized her wedding gown was shredded to pieces. She called to inform me that she was on her way to pick a new gown. I told her to wait for me to join her because it was strange for someone to do that. Besides, her house was well secured because she was from a wealthy home. Since the wedding was just the next day, we didn't have time to investigate. I smelled foul play so I didn't want her to go alone but she insisted she

NikkiI stood from where I sat with furrowed eyebrows and my gazed fixed on Chad. "Ehat is she doing here?" I was thrown back. My feet were unable to consume my balance and I felt trapped. I wanted to be out of there the quickest that I could. My eyes went back to Rebecca when she broke the silence for a confused Chad that could not stop scratching the back of his neck. He was clearly not expecting her to show up here and was not taking her entrance lightly."Oh my God, you?" Rebecca gasped, "I'm so sorry. I didn't know you were here, Chad and I were just having a little fun time together, I literally thought the pizza man was here." She smirked, folding her arms across her naked body."Nikki, it's not what it looks like I promise." Chad stepped forward and out his hands on my shoulders. "Look, Rebecca is only here because we wanted to talk about our plans for her pregnancy.""Ejat?" I gasped.
