“I must be in heaven because I’m seeing an angel.”

“Did you seriously say that?”

After hearing one of Terry’s favorite pick up lines, the blond woman sighed. But only that wasn’t enough to make him give up; Terry was a veteran soldier who had been rejected hundreds of times, after all.

“There must be something wrong with my eyes; I can't take them off you.”

“Can you stop this already? I know that you are just using some lines you found on the internet.”

Terry wasn’t ready to give up, but he knew about women enough not to annoy them more than necessary. He forgot about the blond woman for a second, and then he began to walk around that weird place. Terry touched the walls, kicked the ground, and even hit his head against the columns. He could feel everything, and the pain was there. Terry just needed to do one more thing to confirm that he wasn’t dreaming. He approached the blond woman and put his hands very close to her boobs.

“May I touch them?”

“… If you want to cease your pathetic existence, then feel free.”

All those words seemed like hell yeah to Terry, but a strange glint in her eyes made him change his mind. Even though he was willing to give his life to feel the softness of those perfect boobs, he decided to retreat. Somehow, he thought that we would have another chance to do it in the future.

“Back to the topic, I chose you to entertain me.”

“Oh! I will entertain you as much as you want!”

The blonde woman sighed again, she already knew about Terry’s behavior, but dealing with him directly was being much more tiring than she had predicted it would be.

“I will send you to one of the worlds which are under my control. And until you do some significant and funny changes in that world, you won’t return to earth.”

After hearing those words, Terry rubbed his chin. Those words didn’t surprise him, because he was too well familiar with that kind of story.

“So… you are a goddess or something like that?”

“Yes, I’m the goddess Nerienda.”

Terry studied the woman who proclaimed to be a goddess; in his eyes, she was indeed a goddess. Only a goddess could have such a perfect body.

“So… what will happen if I succeed in entertaining you? I will receive some reward, right?”

“Yes, I’m a generous goddess. I will grant you one wish.”

“A wish!? May I ask for anything?”

“Anything aside from me.”

“Do you have a sister or a cousin who happens to have a lot of curves like you?”

Nerienda sighed again; she chose that man because he had a unique way to have fun. But he was starting to annoy her. She decided to speed up the process a little bit, a silver dagger appeared above her right hand, and then the knife slowly flew toward Terry.

“What is this?”

“Your weapon, you are going to a world full of monsters and crazy people. You will need this.”

“I see, but what can I do with this dagger? Can I drop meteors on slimes?”

“… No, but this dagger can become many weapons. You just have to collect enough energy, and you will unlock new weapons and status bonuses.”

Nerienda looked at Terry, amazed at his imagination, she obviously could grant him the skill to make him drop meteors on anything, but he didn’t have enough mana to create a single meteor. Besides, he wouldn’t entertain her if he just arrives in a new world with such a powerful skill in his hands. When Terry touched the dagger, he noticed some changes.

Terry also noticed something appearing on the left corner of his vision.

Terry couldn’t help but smile; those messages were very familiar. But for some odd reason, as we read those messages, he heard the sound of Nerienda's voice inside his head. But that didn’t bother him; she had a sexy voice too.

“Status screen, Skill list.”

Putting his pathetic stats aside, Terry recognized the potential of his only skill and that weapon. But only that wasn’t enough; he knew the stories of people going to other worlds and obtaining impressive skills even before they could do anything.

“This is a good start, but it’s not enough. Grant me at least a powerful area of effect skill; I want to throw golden swords at my enemies. If that it’s not possible, at least grant me the power to stop time when I say: ZA WARUDO!”

Nerienda looked at Terry, her mouth wide open; she already had given to him a weapon which was by far much more useful than anything that he had ever seen or touched in his life. But he was still demanding the skill to stop the time… something that even she couldn’t use freely… and he even didn’t have done anything yet.

“Is that all you have to say?”

“No, why I can see GOLD instead of EXP on the status screen near my level?”

“Oh, that! I noticed that you are quite the miser, so, to make things interesting, I decided that you would need money to level up instead of just killing monsters. Don’t worry, the dagger will absorb anything valuable in your possession, and you will level up quickly.”

Terry froze on the spot. Certainly, he knew that he was a miser, but he didn’t expect such a thing to happen to him. Since he was constantly dead broke, he became a person obsessed with making money in online games. Terry was just a college student, so he couldn't make money quickly in real life.

“Oh! What a wonderful expression! I knew that you are the kind of man who would entertain me!”

Nerienda said overjoyed, looking at Terry’s astonished face.

“Come on! This isn’t fair! This is a chance for me to make a lot of money in another world, but you make me unable to hold money? This is like playing dark souls in the hardcore mode! Why do I have to go to another world to be dead broke? I’m always dead broke on earth! This a whole new level of realism!”

“Because it will be more interesting for me, of course.”

Terry fell on his knees; he knew that life was unfair, but not to such an extent. Putting his wish aside, he wanted to bring as much as gold possible to earth, and then he would live a carefree life. But soon Terry recovered, he wasn’t a genius, but he would eventually figure out a way to overcome this massive handicap.

“All right… I just have to entertain you, right? Defeating the demon king should be enough.”

“The demon king of that world is sealed; he will only wake up in five hundred years.”

“… Then, I will destroy the country that is trying to take over the world. That should be enough, right?”

“The heroes who defeated the demon king formed a country five hundred years ago, and now, their descendants are ruling the entire world.”

“Then, what the hell am I going to do there?”

“I don’t know; I called you exactly to solve that problem. Right now, that planet is too damn boring. Everyone is trying to stay away from trouble, the commoners obey the nobles without any fuss, and the nobles are scheming against each other.”

For Terry, that was kind of interesting. But the goddess wanted to see some actions; she wanted to see blood instead of pesky politics.

“Anyway, you will have plenty of time to make some interesting changes in that world. As long as you don’t give this weapon to another person, you won’t get old. But you are not immortal, so be careful and don’t take long.”

While Terry was happy that he wouldn’t get old on that planet, it was also a bit scary for him that he might end up trapped in a world where powerful politicians are trying to backstab each other, like constantly.

“Well, it's time for you to get going. I don’t expect anything great from you, so, at least try to make me laugh a few times, and I will make you return to earth. Goodbye.”

“Wait, at least give me some…”

Before Terry could finish that sentence, Nerienda snapped her finger, and then he saw the massive interior of that castle become a dark forest. He had been teleported to another world.

“… Clothes.”

Terry sighed, he began his adventure in this new world, alone, without any crazy powerful skills, and he was also barefoot. He was only wearing a cheap watch, his worn-out shorts and sweatshirt, he would only wear those when he was playing on his PC or when he was sleeping.

“At least teleport me to a city in the middle of the day…”

Terry sighed again as he looked around and saw some red dots moving. He had already found his first friends in the other world, and these friends looked at him like he was the tastiest thing they have seen in years.
