chapter 2

It is exactly 12:00 am here at San Francisco , I can hear the footsteps running so fast towards me. But I couldn't tell where the sound was coming from. So, I gently closed my eyes, empty my head and focus only on the sound, she's coming nearer and nearer to me. 

I slowly opened my eyes, snatched my sword behind me and blocked her onslaughts by the back. Her glaring eyes were a bit like a demon. 

I can feel how powerful she was and how she craves to kill me with her sword. 

I fight back as long as I can, but she's too strong. The strength of her is unbeatable compared to mine and she is very much like a girl with no mercy who knows what she wants to do. 

Time to time, I always have to keep myself distant to make sure she won't kill me, and the fight is getting too long for me to run away from her. 

“She's still really stunning until this time, I don't think I can stay still any longer,” I said to myself. While clashing with her, I noticed that she's getting a bit worried now, and she's profusely sweating. She breathed heavily and moved backwards to distance herself for a while. I didn't move and I didn't attempt to attack her either, I just watched her, like I'm letting her, to take some breath. Then my eyes swivelled at her face, just examining her eyes I can tell she's so serious yet worried then she suddenly smiled at me, but she's obviously grinning with anger.

“Traitor!” she said and smirked.

I didn't response and I coldly looked away from her, I tried to stride away and just disappear, but she grabbed her sword and positioned herself again and attacked me over and over again,

 An hour has passed, and she's still attacking me with the same vigor as she's not getting tired. I'm running out of time, “I can't elude this way,” I whispered. I gave my best and attacked her, but she's really too tough, and she can still manage to block all my attacks, we keep attacking each other, but, the more we battle the more her eyes are informing me to just die, it hurts me that made me let my tears fell, I can't hold it anymore, there's nothing I can do, but to accept the fact that this is what we are right now.

“Are you crying?” she asked then she tried to hit me. I stopped when I felt my tears running. 

“Damn, I thought it was only in my imagination, but I'm really crying, eh. ” 

“Like you have the right,” she said angrily, and attacked me twice the strength she was before. 

“This is bad!” 

So, I also didn't stop until my advantage finally came, she's tired for giving all of her strength, I used my strength and kicked her leg making sure she can't attack me, but still, she managed to stand, I have no choice but to keep this advantage to escape but with her craving she almost hit me but luckily I hit her arm first. She distant herself, hold her wound and find a place to hide for a while.

“It's my chance to escape,”I said and vanished. 

Ylisha's Pov

 I ran here at a dark abandoned parking lot, I'm looking for a place to hide, I looked around to be sure that no one followed me. 

 I can feel the blood running in my arms, I stopped and ripped some part of my long sleeve shirt and tied it in my right arm, where my love left a deep wound after fighting with me with his sword! I made sure that the blood had already stopped, then I found myself weeping, and my heart was stabbed by a hundred knives.

“Stupid! Why are you crying when you didn't even really love me and betrayed me but my love, you have totally changed, you can even hold a sword like that,” my mind said and I smirk, I don't know what emotion I should feel right now.

Anger! 

Pain! 

Loneliness! 

I continued walking, I'm looking every corner of this place, I guess my love escaped again this time.

“ Tsk, Just this time Clench, I'm going to kill you for sure next time! ” I said, ambling and being sure to treat my wound when I get home.
