Fly Flyer

SILVER'S POV

‘Good news, netizens! Cora Peters, owner of Cora's Jewelry just posted a photo of herself sketching her new designs! Get ready for her come back!’

Puno ng news at updates tungkol kay Cora ang news feed ko sa Facebook at pati na rin sa twitter ay trending siya. Cora may not be a popular celebrity or a model, but she is very prominent nationwide. Sikat na sikat at tinatangkilik ng lahat ang mga gawa niyang jewelry. A smile expelled on my lips seeing her photos online. She looks pretty good.

I just remember how I fell in love with her. It all started when I saw the good heart she has that everyone barely sees. And, I've never imagined that our relationship will last long, five years! But, when I met Dahlia again, my first love, I've felt beyond happiness. I love Cora, but I love Dahlia even more. I didn't mean to hurt her, but letting her witness that I'm cheating on her is the best solution I've come up so she'll break-up with me.

At, iyon nga ang nangyari. My plan was successful! But, I've never seen Cora cried that night, she haven't shed one single tear! She remained strong and that's what I admire her the most. It's not like I'm happy because she didn't seem too affected by the breakup, I was actually guilty. Alam kong nasaktan ko siya, pero nawala na talaga ang pagmamahal ko sa kanya at kapag ipinagpatuloy ko pa iyong relasyon namin ay pareho lang kaming mahihirapan.

Yes, I was being attacked by her fans, thrown hurtful words, cursed, and even send me death threats for breaking Cora's heart, but after a month of our break up, she posted a photo of herself, told everyone she's fine and beg to stop attacking me online and personally. I am very grateful for what she did, I can now breathe peacefully. It seems like I really changed the dragon.

“Mahal?”

I shut down my laptop when Dahlia came. Baka kasi makita niyang puno ng mukha ni Cora ang news feed ko, madali pa naman siyang magselos pagdating sa kanya.

I beamed a smile at her. “Mahal, so you made up your mind?” I asked.

Plano ko kasing dalhin siya sa high school reunion namin this Monday. Pinag-isipan niya muna dahil may takot din siyang baka sugurin siya ng mga high school friends namin ni Cora, but I have given her the assurance that it will never happen.

She sat beside me in the bed. “Yes!” she replied with a smile. “So, can we do the shopping now? I have to buy new clothes.”

“Oo naman. Wait for me outside, I'll just ready myself.”

She gave me a small kiss on the lips. “Sige, bilisan mo,” she said and went cheerfully to the living area.

This is what makes her different from Cora. Dahlia is very charming and jolly, whereas Cora scarcely smiles at iyong mga jokes niya halos sa isang taon ay mabibilang lang sa daliri! Siguro isa na rin iyan sa dahilan kung bakit nawalan na ako ng gana sa kanya. I am so tired of making her happy whenever the dragon inside her outbursts. Nakakapagod din pala talaga.

CORA'S POV

Looks who's damn excited here? C-O-R-A! For the first time, I'll set my feet on a comedy bar, but this is obviously not what makes me feel thrilled, it is knowing who will be my gay boyfriend. I just can't wait to meet him!

“Excuse me, Ma'am?” A man with scary muscles stopped me from going inside.

“What's happening?” Zella asked from behind and I just shrugged at once.

“Yes?” I looked at the man with scary muscles slash the security guard I guess, with my left brow arched up.

“Ilang taon na po kayo?” tanong niya sabay tingin sa akin mula ulo hanggang paa! Lakas din nito, ha?!

“24,” walang kagana-gana kong sagot. I didn't know age matters here. Siguro bawal 18 below.

“Pwede ko po bang makita ang ID ni'yo?”

“What for?”

“For confirmation lang, Ma'am.”

“Why? Do I look like I'm lying?”

“Hindi naman sa gano'n, Ma'am.”

I rolled my eyes in annoyance and took an ID from my bag. “See, I'm 24 years old!” asar kong sabi sa kanya.

“Pasensya na po, Ma'am, pasok na kayo,” aniya.

“I just have a babyface, Kuya,” I said in a soft voice, yet my confidence can still be perceived.

“Ahh, kasi po, Ma'am,” then, he looked at me again from head to foot! Wait, is he... referring to my height?!

“Hoy!” I pointed him out.

“Cora, enough, let's go. Ang dami ng tao sa likuran natin.” Zella held me in my wrist, but I pull it off right away.

“Hindi ako maliit, sadyang ang taas lang ng heels mo!” sigaw ko sa kanya saka ko hinila si Zella papasok sa loob ng comedy bar.

Akalain mo iyon, kakaiba rin ang security guard nila, ang laki-laki ng katawan, pero naka high heels! Tsk, tsk. House of gays indeed.

“Isang magandang gabi, Kavaklaan!” a pretty gay on stage greeted everyone. We're on time, the show just started. “Ngayong gabi ay makikita ni'yo ulit ang napaka-in-demand na si Barbie Bikobibiko!” he said and everyone exclaimed in excitement.

Mukhang inaabangan talaga nila ang baklang iyan, ha. And, wow! My jaw dropped when a very gorgeous gay appeared from the backstage. I ain't too far from the stage so I can clearly see him. He has only a light makeup on, but his beauty still shines! Kaya pala in-demand siya.

Wait, I just find it awkward to use the pronoun ‘he’ for gays, I think it's best to use ‘she’. Well, I am not insensitive and I value equality.

“Cora,” Zella called me while I am busy complimenting this gorg gay in my mind. “Ipakalat na natin 'tong flyers,” she further added.

Oh, sh*t, I forgot that is the main reason why we're here and not to compliment gays and listen to their freaking corny jokes. I get some flyers from Zella and carefully placed it somewhere and dropped few on the floor without letting anyone noticed. After almost ten minutes, I'm done! May mga babae at lalaki pang nakakita ng mga flyers, pero sa tuwing binabasa nila iyon ay natatawa sila na para bang joke iyong nabasa nila. Tss! 

“Put it down, it's not for you,” I said to a guy who has been laughing so hard while reading the flyer.

“Sa'yo to galing, Miss Ganda?” he asked with an obscene smile plastered on his damn ugly face!

I am about to say yes when Zella suddenly grabbed me out of the comedy bar. “Hey, what's wrong?” I asked with knitted brows.

“Muntik mo ng sabihin na sa'yo 'yon galing! Paano kong makilala ka ng taong 'yon, Cora? Edi sira ang plano mo,” she replied grimly.

Oh, she's right. Hay! Nagpadala na naman ako sa inis at galit ko.

“Let's go home, I'm exhausted,” I said, trying to force a smile. “Sana may tumawag bukas,” I added and lead the way to the parking area.

Fly, flyer, fly to the right gay and I hope she will call me straight away so we can start our plan as soon as possible! Amen.
