Monday morning is a rush with me trying not to be late on my first day of lecture.

Goodbye Liz

Alright Khloe, be a good girl. I will join you in school, my lecture's at 10.

Yeah ok.

Entering the lecture room after taking a while to locate it, a large number of people were already sitted.

I take my seat at the back beside a girl with red blonde using glasses.

Not long after the Spanish professor comes in.

I try my best to pay rapt attention to what he is saying but I keep getting distracted by the red haired girl. I notice her drawing fumes of breathe almost like every ten minutes from the inhaler which she held in her hands throughout the class.

I guess she notices me staring at her at a point because she looks up to meet my face and gives me a shy smile. I smile back at her not knowing what else to do. I hope she isn't embarrassed.

The professor finally left after a lot of introduction to the language. I wish I payed more attention though, how am I ever going to learn a language I've never spoken before? If I had my textbook with me, it would have been better, but now there's no hope that I'm getting my textbooks back. It really sucks!

Nice to meet you. I'm sorry for disturbing you, I just wanted to apologise for earlier. I know that I kind of distracted you. I'm so sorry.

Oh no! It's nothing. I wasn't too distracted. I hope you're alright though if I may ask?

Yes I'm alright, thanks for asking. I was just using my inhaler. I'm an asthmatic patient.

Oh! Really sorry to hear that. You ok now?

Yes I am. Thank you.

Yeah. Alright I have to go for my next lecture now. I have Drama class. I stand up.

Really? She sounds excited kind of.

Yeah.

Wow. I also have Drama too.

Wow, what a coincidence!

It's no coincidence dear! My grandmother always tells me that whenever two people meet for the first time and they find out that they have something in common, then it's no coincidence! It's fate!

I guess she would make a good friend. Perhaps it's fate!

We walk to the next lecture together with her telling me stories about herself. Seems like she likes talking a lot though she seemed shy earlier.

Aren't you hungry? She asks.

My stomach grumbles just immediately as if in answer to her question. She laughs.

Oh I can see I have my answer already. I am too. Let's go to the cafeteria then.

I feel like I've already known Khloe for a very long time. She is very sweet and easy to talk to. Perhaps that's why I'm not really shy around her.

We both make our way to the cafeteria and queue on the line.

I need to use the restroom.

Khloe, pls could you take care of my order, I need to use the restroom.

Alright Kiara. I can handle that.

On my way to the restroom I spot a guy. He's talking to another guy. The first thing I notice about him is that he looks different.

Maybe different in a good way, but he certainly looks different. Like he is an alien or something. How can a guy be this handsome!

With a perfectly carved face and body, one could mistake him for a top hot model or some angel who dropped on earth by mistake!

His pink lips stands out on his face and I can already imagine myself kissing those soft lips.

Wait! What the hell am I doing standing and staring at a man with perverted thoughts on my way to use the restroom!

I could see people already staring at me and some tracing the direction of my eyes and getting completely mesmerized with the beauty I couldn't help but drown in.

I quickly increase my pace and walk away. In the restroom, I look at myself in the mirror. My cheeks are flushed. Gosh! That guy had so much effect on me! But who is he?

You spent a handful of time in there.

I'm sorry, I was adjusting my make-up. Khloe is already halfway done with her food.

Okayy.

She doesn't ask any more questions but I notice she keeps staring at me from time to time.

Why do you keep staring at me? Is there something on my face?

Is there any reason why you're picking your meal? And why your face is all flushed up?

What? I can feel myself blushing even more.

I have a small appetite. That's why! I don't really eat much.

Oh okay. I guess that's understandable but is there also an explanation for your flushed cheeks and the faraway look in your eyes?

Ohh. But I know that look only too well! She has a sly smile on her face.

I can't help not laughing. Okayy it was a guy!

Yeahh, I thought as much. With the way you were blushing and all. Tell me about him.

He's not an ordinary guy though! You needed to have seen him. I couldn't help myself, had to stop and stare.

Woww wow, mighty Kiara has fallen for an handsome on her first day! Way to goo! She says laughing!

Shhh. Stop making fun of me! I told you I couldn't help it. If you saw him too, I bet you would have done worst. I smirk at her.

Nah nah. I'm sure I'm better at guys than you are.

Whatever! Think what you like! Let's go, I think I'm done here.

On our way outside, I see Lizzy talking with 2 guys on the farther end of the cafeteria. They look rough and kind of bad. What is she doing talking with these guys?

I take my phone and call her to draw her attention.

I can see youu.

What? I can't see you. Where are youu?

At the entrancee

I think I seee you. I'm coming.

Okay

I wait for her to get to where I am. We hug each other.

I didn't know you were around.

Sorry I forgot to call you. Classes and all of that.

Who is she? She says referring to Kiara.

Ohh sorry I forgot to introduce you to each other. This is Kiara. I met her in Spanish class and it turns out we're offering the same courses. Kiara this is Elizabeth, my best friend.

Kiara talks first.

It's nice meeting you Elizabeth. Would you mind if I call you Lizzy?

Well, only Khloe here calls me Lizzy but it's alright. You can call me Lizzy.

Wow, thanks.

I'm glad they're getting along well. I have a feeling the three of us would go a long way together!

I'm still curious about what Lizzy was doing with those guys but I will have to wait till we get home. I don't think it's a good idea to talk about it in front of Kiara for now. I will surely have to wait.
