Wole noticed that Kate had passed a different route this time, not the usual one that leads to his house. After a while on the road she pulled over at a big house. ”Stay there”, she said, going through the gates. After about fifteen minutes of battling with boredom and temptation for it is said that an idle mind is a devils workshop, he quickly reached for her phone and opened the password security system. He had seen her open it a dozen times. He went straight for the Dream League Soccer Game he had downloaded from her play store application she had. He had secretly downloaded it for a while now. He dropped the phone, came down from the car and went through the gates, into the house. He found the house quite beautiful and perceived that the owner must be a very rich person. He ventured vast into the house. At a certain point he began hearing groans from a room. Since every where he had been to was empty he had no doubt that she was inside. The door was a bit ajar, he pushed it and it gave way exposing Kate on top a man. They were having an affair. By his rate, he was roughly 58 years old. Six years more than his Father. He closed his eyes and ran back into the car. He was trying to phantom what he had just seen. He heard them scream as he opened the door but he didn’t wait to find out what they would say. He knew he was in trouble he silently closed his eyes and prayed that it was all a dream. “Who was that?”, said the man as he rampaged the bed for his clothes. “Honey don’t mind him, he is the son of that idiot who calls himself my husband”, said Kate. “Don’t you think it is time we dispose him, he’s an obstacle to our plans, remember, he is the biological son of the foolish doctor and direct heir to his wealth”, said the man. “I am ahead of you on that, I know just how to remove him from the picture”, said Kate as she smiled cunningly.”All that remains is for you to take care of the doctor”. “By tomorrow I will be back with my part of the deal done, I expect yours to be too, my love”. She came down from the bed, got fully dressed and left the room. She headed straight for the car. She casted a pretense smile at Wole, who by now was scandalized to the bones by what he had just seen. She revised the car and drove off into the highway. Still Wole could tell that, she wasn’t taking her home yet. After some few minutes of driving she placed the car to a halt at a famous fast food restaurant. Wole was right indeed. “Get down”, commanded Kate. Wole jumped out of the car and holding him by the hand, they both went inside. The restaurant was painted orange and blue, a little corner of the building was bearing a dark shade of scarlet. Kate told him to order anything of his choice, as long as he could finish it. Wole saw the mischievous look in her eyes and concluded she was up to something. He just couldn’t place his finger on what it was exactly anyway, it was an opportunity in a million. He let go of his suspicions and what had just happened a while back, and took it that God has answered his prayers. That Kate was finally had a change of heart towards him. He ordered at first, a nice chilled cup of vanilla ice cream followed with a meat pie and a cold apple juice to go with it. He ate to his fill. . Meanwhile, Kate was at the customers bar charging her phone, lost in thought. Just by looking at her then, one would easily tell that she was conjuring something in her thoughts that would be most ungodly. At exactly 5:47pm, she paid the bill then she and Wole got out of the restaurant and hit the road. And by 9:03pm, still they were on the road. Wole had fallen asleep in the car. After a long journey along a bushy path, Kate parked the car. She opened the door beside Wole and pushed him out of the car, with his backpack strapped to his back. She closed the door and speedily in the twinkle of an eye left the environment.
