When they got to the warehouse which was now Wole’s new or rather Samuel’s present home, Chika placed a call to Charles. He informed him that they were back from the hospital. Charles gave her the instruction that henceforth, Wole should be addressed as his son and by the name of Samuel. He also told her to make sure that all the other staffs that worked in the warehouse got the message. “Hand the phone over to him I want to speak to him”, said Charles.
“Your father wishes to speak to you, he knows that you are sick so don’t worry he would soon be back home”, said Chika to the hearing of Charles. She wanted to make sure that Charles would think that she is actually going with the ‘he is my son’ nonsense. Deep down she had pity for Sam. She knew that Charles would change him from the innocent boy that he recruited a week ago. Yet she had to go with it, even though it was all pretence. She did not want trouble with her boss.
“Daddy”, said Samuel into the phone microphone. He had a pause after he said that. Even in his amnesiac state he knew and felt that something was weird about what he had just said. “Hello my boy, how are you doing today?”, said Charles. He was presently at one of his few warehouses in Malaysia. A contact of his had informed him that the supervisor in charge of the warehouse affairs was mysteriously found dead in the warehouse. That was about 5 days into his arrival. He went to the warehouse today only to find it in flames. He was so pissed off. He calmed himself down and did the best cover-up money can buy in order to keep away any evidence of his illegal business. Charles had to shut down his other branches and houses at Malaysia so he could avoid this incidence from repeating itself. He had to put it on a hold until he had dealt with whosoever was messing with him and making himself an enemy.
He hated nonsense. When it came to people that tried to mess with him, he took it seriously to the bone. To him there were only two options. It was either he goes down or the other guy goes down. There was no surrender or anything in between. He was so sturborn that he always makes it to the death. With the level of power he had surrounded himself with, he was sure that no one could stand against him. Not even the F.B.I(Federal Bureau of Investigation). Although he was wanted in about 7 different countries for trying to transport contraband goods such as his hard drugs, with an outstanding reward of $25 million dollars to anyone that could provide valuable information about him, he had not been caught all the same. No one had successfully turned in any information about him.
Anyone that dares betray him would be walking into an open fire. Charles would make sure that he terminates such betrayers before they can open their lips to anyone. Money was his superpower. The ability to get almost but not everything he wanted and for them to be done in a flash. His men often exaggerate him to be one who was untouchable.
“I am fine”, came the reply. “Aunty told me that you would soon be home. She told me that I am sick so I would not remember you”. Charles did not like the fact that Samuel addressed Chika with áunty’.“Don’t call her aunty, she is not my sister so just call her Chika”, ”Yes I would soon be back. I hope you are comfortable. If there is anything you want just mention it, I would make sure that you have it, okay”, said Charles. Samuel tried to imagine how the voice of his father would match to the various pictures that Chika had been showing to him. He was very eager to meet him.

”What do you mean? Do you want to eat my flesh, or do you want to have sex with me?” I asked the man. After all, I had read my fair share of trashy romance novels and the term ‘I want to eat you’ was definitely open for interpretation. Perhaps my question was funny, but the man’s hand holding onto the tangerine dropped, and he excitedly asked me, “Why aren’t you scared of me? You’re not even crying!”Of course I was scared! I was so scared I wanted to immediately run down the mountain. Who would want to be with this supernatural thing? If he really wanted to kill me, it would be as easy as killing an ant. However, I could not show him fear since I still needed to trick him into eating the pill later, thus I told him, “You’re so good-looking. Who would be afraid of a good-looking person?”The man smiled and handed the tangerine in his hand to me. He looked to be in a good mood and sat down on a chair next to me. He asked, “Interesting. Why don’t you tell me what looks good about me

This is my second time coming to the city. The first time was about a week ago. The tall buildings and huge roads with so many vehicles, the noise- the city as a whole, would take time to grow on me.However, this visit is different from the last. I won't be going back.I look outside the window as cars zoom past us. The car I'm in is my uncle's. There are boxes beside me, packed with my belongings. It's a four hour drive from my uncle's home and my legs have started cramping. We're almost there, I slightly remember the neighbourhood. It's one of the depressing parts of the city. To be honest, I don't like the place I'm going to live in. The apartments look old and plain depressing. The fact that I'm going to live alone hits me right then. I've been feeling ecstatic since I heard I would finally get to live in a city but now it sinks in.
It takes twoI got home before dawn. Ate dinner with my parents before I clean up and go to bed. I meticulously picked movies in my head. I want to show Nov the movies I've watched because he told me he had never seen the movies I'm talking about. The whirring of electric fan enveloped my room as I struggled to make my self fall asleep. Soft and cold was the pink sheets of my bed and pretty was the stars and moons glued on my ceiling, they glow in the dark. Nov said he would watch a movie with me tomorrow but he said he have to feed their horses since those are the source of their income. We peeked inside the old stubble which is one kilometer walk from their house. I wished I would not have insisted to say good bye to his father before going home. I sighed before I stretch my body. It was numb with fatigue but I did not even realized that earlier. I reached for the alarm clock at my bedside table and set it into 6 A.M.
