2023-12-01 14:12:42Jen wakes up in another day and hopes that she can find some leads to the person who sent her the letter.
She is on her way to her locker. For some reason it is crowded, people are towering Jen’s height. Life of a short person. She pushes her way and shoves some of the students.
“Hey, Willows, too bad,” A tall random guy said it to me.
Jen raises her eyebrows, wondering what he meant.
As her eyes landed on her locker.
She feels like a knife right in front of her stabs her. She falls on the ground, wanting to scream and cry. She feels so troubled the most.
“I KNOW ALL OF YOUR SECRETS, YOU ARE NOT JUST MS. NOBODY. WAIT AND SEE UNTIL I SPILL THE TEA!”
That is what written in front of Jen’s locker.
‘I AM IN A HELL OF A MESS’ Jen whisper to herself, shaking and feeling the world does not want her.
The people that gathered here starting to look at me, some of them pointed at me while laughing, some are whispering to each other’s ears with a disgusted look on their faces. Jen feels so helpless, feels so ashamed of something she did not even know.
Jen’s eyes are on the crowds. Her eyes are teary then, she sees someone from afar who is wearing a black jacket covering that person’s face. Jen cannot see that person clearly. Her tears are blocking her sight but she refuses to let it fall.
She quickly picks up herself to stand and run towards the mysterious person.
“WAIT!” Jen shouted to the person, her voice echoed in the place but she did not give a damn about it.
The person in a jacket started to sprint away from the place; feels like that person knew what will Jen do.
Jen starts chasing the person leaving the crowd at awe. She does not care anymore as long as she can find some answers and she can reassure herself.
Jen chase the person in the hallway, suddenly he drifts to the left and right, confusing Jen until—
**TUG**
“Miss Willows, why are you running mess right now? Is there anything I can help you with?”
Jen looks up to see the person that I accidentally bumped into, it is Mr. Glen Jones.
She wants to cry but decided to hold the tears longer in her eyes, her eyes scan the hallways, hoping to see that person around.
“Mr. Gle-Glen, have you see-seen a guy running he-here?” Jen asked shuttering as tears starting to run down to her cheeks.
Mr. Glen is surprised to see Jen crying but deep inside he feels sorry and says, “Ms. Willows are you okay? Do you want to talk about it?”
His face looking at Jen concerning at her and gives Jen a sad expression in his big brown eyes.
“Sir, so-sorry to be rude, but I was a-asking a question” Jen replied while sobbing hard. She covers her face with her hands.
“Ms. Willows, I saw no one.” He replied to her seriously. Giving her an honest answer.
‘Am I imagining things?’
‘What is wrong with me?’
Jen has those in her mind but Mr. Glen cut her from thinking
“Ms. Jen Willows,” said Mr. Glen.
“Feel free to go home, it feels like you do not want to talk about it and you look so messed up right now, it is better to call this a day. You do not want further things to happen, don’t you?” He added standing still.
Mr. Glen taps on her shoulder and leans down to her ears and whisper
“You are just maybe another victim.”
Jen was dumbfounded at his words. Did he know about this?
He bows to Jen and walks away from in the hallway as if nothing happens. She turns around facing his back and watching him slowly fading in her sight with his footsteps cannot be heard.
She turns her body around and continues scanning the hallway, unfortunately, she lost tracks to that person and saw no one around.
**RINGS**
The school bell rings.
Jen head out to the campus. Taking consideration of Mr. Glen’s suggestion to her, She had enough today, she calls this a day but way too fucked up.
As Jen makes her way out, she can see their eyes on her. She was holding her long, longer than she thought, it suddenly falls continuously in her face making her so wet.
Tears are on her cheeks. The heart is aching. Will she be able to be happy?
Suddenly the raindrops are pouring down.
‘WOW! The weather is accompanying my sorrowful emotions’ Jen said softly while walking like a lifeless vessel.
Her clothes are now so wet, but she decided to stop at her pace and look up to the dark sky.
She let it out. She breaks down.
“AHH! WHY? WHY ME? NO! NO! WHY I AM TREATED LIKE THIS? I FEEL SO SHIT! THIS IS NOT FUNNY! UWAHH!!” Jen screams it all out while crying harder.
She became a child but give no damn anymore.
She sobs loudly without wiping or covering her dull face.
A flashback happens in her mind. About the stares, that person, her professor’s words, the locker, and the letter—
--The letter and she realize something while her head is up to the sky. Her eyes widen and she laughs at the sudden realization.
Why was the penmanship and color of the letter different this time?
Is it something coming from someone else?
