"Alex! I bought you some breakfast; it's time to get up man". It was Adam; the poor guy had stayed here all night, sleeping on a bench. Adam was my best friend, he has had many complications, we weren't always the best of friends, we started off as rivals in a way, he was the only who could challenge me in school when it came to academics, Betty was good but Adam was on another level. Adam's dad went missing some years ago on a hiking trip.

My dad and his dad were good friends and his mom is like my dad's sister so on hearing the news, my dad's heart broke, maybe even more than Xavier's death. His dad loved children a lot and was very healthy; he looked really young for his age.

Adam has a younger brother, Sam who loves anime a lot and despite the age difference he used roasts, Adam, frequently. After the disappearance of his dad, his mom went to become the C.E.O of the company his father used to previously work in and nowadays she always busy attending press conferences and shareholder meetings. 

She still believes Mr Anderson will be alive somewhere, she spends a lot of money on his search and rescue but there were not any new findings. The cops say there isn't any evidence to point out to where he must have landed, it feels like he just vanished. 

''bro you can't keep acting like this, I know you that are still having nightmares about that night. It wasn't your fault nor was it your dad's fault or ours. It was an accident man you got to understand it, stop punishing yourself''. '' bro you know what killed him, you very well know if I had not been a self-obsessed jerk, who dint think of anyone else other than himself and if I had listened to Xavier before we left... He died in my arms man, he died in my arms, the hospital was so close but  I didn't make it time'' ''Alex it's not your fault, Xavier dint dies because of you, why don't you just listen to me. I told you to try forgetting about that night, I know it is hard but you need to move on or least stop blaming Yourself"

'' Adam I did exactly what you told me to do, I spoke to mom, my sisters, tried to act like myself, crack some jokes but where did it lead me, man, I am on a hospital bed with a broken nose and stitches, I don't think I can go back to the way things were and I wish I had died instead of him'' just as I said that Adam hugged me and yelled at me for saying that, he told me that he would always stand up me and help me recover but guys honestly I am in a pretty bad situation. 

My godman wrote a list of medications and told me to call her when I get home. Adam dropped me home, I could see that he was worried and did not trust me, I promised him I would not to do anything stupid next. I didn't want to disturb anyone had home so I took the spare key from my neighbour and went incautiously. I was sure my mother would be sleeping at this time and my sisters wouldn't be at home, so I decided to sleep on the sofa.

Dogs barking...  '' don't let her escape " "stay alert bravo and alpha, the girl seems to have resources". ''sir the hounds have found something, there's a lot of ammo and military gear here". that bitch, how did she get all this, now what should I do,  the commander thought to himself. '' sir we have found her! she's on the run"  Charlie leader said.

Suddenly a man grabs her and pulls her aside and covers her mouth. ''Shhhh! Don't make noise and put this on, they won't be able to track your thermal signature through this.''  The girl was trying to speak but her voice was muffled. '' can you wait for a minute, I'll explain everything in a minute, I am your dad's friend, you remember Sarah?; she was your friend when you were growing up, I am her dad''.

 '' your dad told me to rescue you and your sister from those psychopaths, your dad told me their names, I forget it though, my bad'' the girl was trying to break free from his hand. ''okay, okay, there you go, you don't need to act like an animal''. the girl yells '' no one ever grabs me like that'' and she was fuming. ''lady I think you should show some appreciation and don't yell for heaven sake''. 

''sir, we can not find her, it's like she vanished into thin air and to make matters worse, the thermal scan isn't picking up anything''. The commander breaks the radio in anger and starts suiting up and orders more troops to come for reinforcements and ordered them to search the docks. It
