THIRD PERSON POV

Vale’s parent’s finally asked them about their relationship. They told them the exact story that they said to Keith’s parent.

“So, when are you going to marry her?” Andrew shot the question all of a sudden, making Vale choked on air once again. She coughed before lifting the glass of water on the table and drink it.

“As soon as possible,”

Water spurts out from Vale’s mouth, hearing Keith’s answered. She wiped her mouth with the back of her hand before turning around to face Keith in horror.

“Are you crazy?! I’m not ready!” She clarified.

“And I can’t wait,” Keith smugly replied.

“That’s not a problem either since you don’t mind her not having a job,” Andrew replied and nodded in confirmation.

“Mom?” Vale turns to her mom who’s grinning widely. “I can finally hold a grandchild of my own. Wait, I want a dozen of grandchildren,” She clapped her hand in excitement.

“Mason?”

“I trust him to take care of you, so I’m cool,” Mason shrugged.

“Peter?”

“I-Can she at least waits for a month?” Peter hesitated.

“Anne?”

“.....” Vale was met with silence. All eyes zeroed in towards the youngest in the room who looks like she’s in a dazed.

“Anne!” Vale clapped her hands.

“Huh? Oh! That sounds great!” Anne looks up confused before she regained her composure. Vale’s curious eyes scrutinized her sister like a scanner. Anne’s voice wavered. She hesitated.

“That sounds like an agreement. Ah! Look at the time, I have to meet my friend in an hour. Keith, feel free to come here anytime. We could discuss the wedding arrangement along with your parent’s, right?”

“Of course,” Keith answered.

Andrew and Lovy stand up and leave the room.

Vale coughed before looking at Peter. “So, when are you going to introduce sister-in-law to me?”

The brunette girl blushed at her question as a small smile decorated her face. Peter looked at her longingly, but it was gone as fast as lightning.

“She’s Leslie Monroe. The new model who disrupted my essential business meeting because she doesn’t want to be a one night stand,” Peter said, blankly, without emotion.

Leslie’s face went red as she looks down on the floor in humiliation as Peter slandered her without any hesitation in front of his siblings. Her arms crossed around her in an insecure manner.

“She disrupted your meeting, how is that related to why she’s here?” Vale asked, confused.

“Mom liked her, and she’s pregnant,” Peter spat the words like venom as Leslie flinched on his tone.

“Bro, you didn’t use protection?” Keith asked.

“I did. But, I guess it broke,” Peter ran his hand through his straight brown hair.

“How far along are you?” Vale blurted the question still shocked by the news.

“Uh-A month and three weeks,” Her melodic voice mesmerized her.

“You have an enchanting voice,” Vale stated her thoughts causing Leslie to blush. Ooh! She’s a blusher!

“Thanks,” Leslie replied.

“How do you know it’s yours?” Mason asked.

“She’s a virgin the day I slept with her,” Peter carelessly blurted the word out, as if, intentionally saying it to hurt her.

Vale’s heart ached for Leslie who looks away at random times and blinked her eyes several times as she swallowed an impossible lump on her throat.

“Can I talk to you alone?” Vale asked as she stands up.

Leslie looks at Peter, causing Vale to sigh in annoyance. Why did she need his permission at all?

“Sure. But, don’t do anything funny,” Vale felt like the words are directed towards Leslie and not her.

Vale brought Leslie upstairs into one of the guest room.

“So, tell me. Did my asshole manwhore of a brother ever hurt you physically?” Vale shoots her question as soon as they sat down on the sofa in the room.

“No,” Leslie answered after a few seconds. She rubbed her thumb on her palm as she blushed and avoided looking directly into Vale’s eyes.

Vale’s bit her lip as she assessed Leslie’s reaction. Her eyes went wide when realization dawned upon her.

“Did he spank you?! Oh, m-uff!” Vale was cut off by Leslie’s hand on her mouth. Leslie’s eyes were wide in horror as she looked at the doors.

She removed her hand after making sure Vale would not scream her lungs out.

“How did you know? Did Kyle-” Leslie asked in surprise.

“Been there, done that,” Vale nodded in confirmation as she blushed.

They look at each other before bursting out in giggles as their bonds met.

“So, tell me, how did you get into this mess?”

*Junior*I had no idea where I was going when I ran off after the trainman yelled at me. And frankly, I’m not all that certain I knew where I was anymore.
