Chapter 1

"Big sister ," My little sister Jossie who was three shouted with her soft voice as she approached my room.

"Yes sweet baby," I said softly mimicking her voice.

"Take me outside big sister please," She said the moment she walked in with her pink dress and a white doll under her tiny armpit.

Our Nanny, Lilian was doing her best to make her look like the Sofia the first of the animation in Disney channel.

Jossie Stewart was the apple of my parents eye especially to my dad. It's not like they don't love me that much but you can tell by all the staff dolls she owns on all the tiny closets in her wardrobe.

Her hair was done daily with all the desired hair products that you could think of. She owns tonnes of shoes and dresses that made her look like royalty.

Sometimes I think of it like am adopted in that family. I don't trust my dad that much, there is some resentment that is inside him that I don't have any clue of where it come from.

A little five year old girl with all those cool staff like she was a celebrity kid was such stupid investment to me. I always wanted big investments like owning my own island with hotels and five class hotels.

Well, I like the perfume my mother bought me from Victoria Secret and the latest I phone six that I own. There is something in me that strongly certain that I have to get more than that. Is that what strong women feel? If that is so then am one of them.

"A new doll?" I asked holding it and staring at it for a while to check for the difference between it , the previous one and the one before then.

"Her name is Lucille,"She said happily as she grabbed it from me .

"Lucille is lucky to have you because I know you will take care of her because of your gentle soul baby sister." I said to her as I lifted her off the ground.

"What do you want big sister to do for you?" I asked as I sat her on the bed next to the window for her to see the outside of our mansion.

"Well I want to go outside,"She said with her innocent angelic eyes that would melt a million dollars from my father's bank account.

"You know very well you cannot play outside the house baby. There are evil people who will hurt you. This evil people hate dad because he has a nice family, nice car and you baby doll. Just go to the playroom and play with aunty Lilian." I explained to her tickling to make her forget about going outside.

"I want to go ! I want to go!" She started shouting and wailing like she was pissed with a kind of a tear demon.

"What's going on here?" Lilian walked in alarmed.

She was being payed a huge sum to look at this little angel and God forbid something happens to her, I don't think her life would remain the same.

"Auntie Lilian, please tell this kiddo she is not supposed to play outside," I told her.

"I trusted you," Jossie sobbed.

"Come on Jossie, let your big sister Norah concentrate on her painting, "she carried her outside as she struggled out of her grip.

"Please big sister, "I heard Jossie shout across the hallway.

Wait first painting? I even don't know how to draw father Christmas. My hobby is between watching movies and sleeping .

I tried concentrating on the Grownish series but I could not . I loved Jossie and I would never want to see her cry. She is such a miracle kid. My mother had her two months before her menopause.

I cannot say I am jealous because of all the gifts she is showered with but I just don't care. I am different and that makes me love myself even more.

I walked down the hallway to the playroom.

"Jossie?"I called out as I found her engrossed in colouring a tree from a big book dad had bought her before she was even born.

There is nothing compared to a young soul, she had already forgotten what happened like thirty minutes earlier because she ran to me and hugged me as if I was her guardian angel.

"Shhhhh..,we are going outside and I don't want aunt Lilian to find out,"I explained to her as I crotched to be the same height as she was.

"Okay,"She whispered.

"It is our little secret,"I said and tiptoed to the back door.

"Big sister, thank you thank you. Lucile,look at this flowers, grass , they are just like in the book we were colouring," She talked to her doll.

"So you want to see the pool?" I asked

"Yaaay,"She started running towards the love shaped pool at the core of our backyard.

"Lucile let's taste the waters,"She said and dipped her feet in the water.

Spoiled rich kid, she cannot even remove her shoes. She was born on a silver lining.

I took my earphones and started listening to Ariana Grandes song as I took Snapchat pictures with all the filters.

Taking a picture with Jossie could earn me more likes in Instagram and I decided to check for my baby sister.

"Auntie Lilian please don't take Jossie away from me." I told her once I reached in the kitchen for Jossie was no where to be seen.

"Jossie is in the playroom," I left her there 10 minutes ago and you know Jossie very well, when she is colouring, she can stay there for the whole day without moving an inch.

"I was with her outside at the pool just now,"I said with some bit of panick. I was toast.

"You what?!" Auntie Lillian yelled at me in dispair."Your parents will be back in an hour and you know how your daddy is, we better find her." She said rushing outside.

At the pool, we found a drenched Jossie floating like a dead log. Aunt Lilian quickly dived as I prayed silently for her heart to be still beating.

As soon as Jossie was taken out of the water, her belly was swollen and bigger than anything else in her body. Her eyes were wide open staring at us with a tear line showing. She had bite her tongue hard with her teeth that they were threatening to cut her tongue into half.

She had folded her hands firmly and her muscle tensed and I knew right away there was no bit of life in her.

Aunt Lilian stormed to the house.

"Are you going to call them and blame it on me?" I asked as I ran after her.

She did not bother to answer but kept moving on hastily.

She headed to the kitchen and I followed her right in there.

I watched her as she took the butcher's knife and stabbed herself three times and if that is not enough, she slit her throat open. Warm blood splashed on my face and the ones that reached my mouth went directly to my gut.

Her eyes kept looking at me as foam formed at the corner of her mouth as she dropped on the floor to die. Blood was flowing rhastly on our well polished ties heading to the dining room.

I continued staring in disbelief.

In a span of 30 minutes I had managed to get two dead bodies in our household.

RIP Aunt Lilian

RIP Jossie Stewart.

I tip toes to my bedroom upstairs still in shock. I knew if I could not kill myself as Lilian did, my dad would ensure whoever did that to her little angel would not only rot in jail but also die immediately after being set free after he had tortured her to wish death upon life.

I picked my hair pin and rushed to my mother's bedroom. I opened the door and went for the computer containing the CCTV footages for the day. I quickly clicked erase and rushed back to my room.

I wanted to leave for good before my parents come home. I could not stand my mother's wails and my father's curses.

I thought of drafting my mother a letter but chose not to. She knew I was not that kind of daughter and she was used to it already.

Just then, the alarm off and I knew Mr and Mrs Stewart had arrived.
