chapter 2

 After eating, he invited me upstairs, I wonder what he wanted to show me? Then,  he opened the door of his room, I saw nothing but dusk. I'm too curious, is this what he wants to show? It's weird. I curved up my eyebrow as I face him.

“What are we doing in here?” 

He didn't answer me, then he unexpectedly held my arms, and grabbed me inside then closed the door. I look like a blind man who can't see anything, but that's not the case here, it's about what he is attempting to do? I'm too nervous. Then I felt his breath near my neck, I creep out as my hair stand on end.

“What is he planning to do with me? I was sweating like a pig. I wanna step back but I can't even move my feet. I know I can knock him out if I want to, but I have this indescribable feeling, I'm freaking out inside.

"He-hey, what are you pla-planning to-to do?” my voice is twitching. Then I heard him hissed, “Shhhh.” I'm too scared, he can't do this to me, so, I decided to smash him before it's too late. I take my fist and I'm about to smash him when a beam of light from the projector started to hit my eyes. I narrowed my eyes and a film started to play. 

I instantly face him and he winked at me, “Let's watch birthday girl,” I lose my palm and sigh.

“Gosh, he made me shiver. Tsk.” 

Well, I'm surprised at how he actually fixed his room so cute for us to watch a film. We looked like in a cinema with only to chairs are in here. It was really enjoyable. Well, the movie is a catastrophe but it was pretty cool. 

 We continue watching as my eyes roam around in this dark room, "So this what a man room's looked like??" I mumbled while peeking every corner of this room but I can't observe everything because of darkness. But base on my observation, his things are organized and the room is pretty neat and clean.

 " Are you okay? " he asked when he caught me not concentrating on the film. 

I shook my head while blinking my eyes, I'm dumbfounded. "Oh, yeah, I'm okay, sorry."

The film was finished, it's really fun, a lot. 

"Thank you It was fun," I said to him and he grin. 

"Let's go outside, it's my final gift," 

"What?" I asked curiously and there he goes again suddenly grabbing my hands like I'm going to escape or what. I pulled my hand, he always does this. 

" C'mon, its the time," he said and we went outside the room balcony and I didn't expect that he will make fireworks. I'm surprised, my heart is fluttering while staring at the fireworks.

I glance at him, "You're making me feel not to leave your side even more," I mumbled, and set my eyes back at the fireworks.

“They're pretty!" 

"Ylisha" he whispered, and I saw him holding firecrackers.

"What's that?"

"It's a kind of fireworks, wanna try?" he said and showed me how to light them. We continue to light those tiny kinds of firework. We're too close to each other but we don't feel awkward, all I know is we're enjoying the moment by ourselves. 

"Lord, thank you for meeting this guy beside me," that's the only words I running in my mind.

 "Ylisha? Are you happy?"

"Yes, all thanks to you," I answered but he's weird, he's mood changes seriously.

I'm waiting for him to speak then he swallows nervously, "Ylisha, I don't know how to begin but awhile ago-"

"A while ago, I'm in deep pain, when I saw you with that guy Neil, whom you just met and you two looks like you we're so close. I can't understand at first, I felt bad but it made me realised that if I wasn't like you then I would not feel that way.

I don't know but I feel like I'm jealous. To be honest, I like you, I didn't know when did it started, but all I know is that I woke up one day and found myself falling deeply in love with you.

Every time that you're not around, I'm missing you so much. I like me better when I'm with you. I know we're friends, we have each other for how many yrs, having you as my best friend is enough but as I saw you with that man hurts me, and made me feel that I'm scared to lose you, I'm afraid that you will meet someone and leave me, thinking about that a while ago made me realize I wanted to be with you, not only as a friend but more than just friends.

 My heart raced as he let out every single phrase. His confession made me feel delighted. I'm grinning from ear to ear.

  I'm too nervous to tell Ylisha what I feel but still, I can't bear to see her with someone else. I feel like wanting her more than friends, so I breathe until I put on the courage to tell her. And here I go, confessing in front of her, I'm trembling, but I keep telling her how I feel.

"Thinking about that a while ago made me realize I wanted to be with you, not only as a friend but more than just friends."

I'm about to finish confessing but I was shocked when she leapt and her eyes wrapped around my neck so tight.

 "I feel the same, I wanted to be with you not only just friends but more than that, " a voice said in my ears. I can't believe what I just heard. I can feel butterflies on my stomach.

So, she loves me too? " 

Her hand hugged me tighter, " Clench, I'm happy for having you, I don't know but I don't want to lose you either, thinking about that brakes my heart so much, I'm afraid to tell you because I'm more afraid of losing you knowing that you might treat me differently after," she said on monotone.

 I'm speechless, then I felt like there's water pouring at my back. I thought it was raining but it's not, It is because she's crying.

"Wait, are you crying?" I asked her, standing confused but she still didn't let go of her hands on me.

"It's okay, I'm just happy," she said slowly that made me calm, I'm also shredding with joy, so I hugged her back. I can smell her hair, I can feel how soft her cheeks. I've felt like I won the lottery.

I didn't expect this. I'm the happiest person around the globe tonight.

"Don't cry anymore,” I whispered as I stroked her head.

“ I'm also happy that we ended like this, Ylisha I, thank God I found you," and kissed her forehead.

And that's how our relationship began.

I will never forget this moment. Well, I guess love will really turn you into something you didn't imagine. We felt jealous, we felt discomfort but nothing worth the pain and jealousy when the one you love feel the same way as you are. That's the moment we feel like we couldn't ask for more.
