2023-12-01 14:59:00A teardrop looking sunflower seed ended up mixed with other seeds, that brings to mind a question of if we use our imagination to give seeds feelings there is a chance she could feel like she doesn't fit in.
I realize that it may seem silly to some to think of seeds with feelings, yes they are alive but not in that sense, but what if in our creativity we could help others understand our feelings?
Younger siblings may not understand if school didn't go well, or if we got bullied for being different.
All of us will at some point in time feelings that we don't fit in because or other ways we are different.
We may not feel like we belong, our feelings are valid, we feel them in those moments, we don't always need to fit in.
2 of my oldest children have decided the name of the sunflower seed is Crystal, there are taking part to help inspire other youth to plant seeds of hope.
The mixed seeds are a part of a project to plant them and see what grows, to plant a garden and look each seed and each stage up, self learning in the pandemic to learn more about nature in your own back yard or window box, to also explore about food security and where our food comes from, seed to store type of thing, pretty neat, homework I think I will enjoy helping with.
