They were sitting on sofas in Mirana's chambers. Keila had a big glass of wine in her hand and was looking to nowhere in particular.
She told her what happened today, about the prince's request and how she found him just moments ago. She hoped Mia would understand.
Now she was just waiting for Mia to say something, but the princess took her time.
"So you are leaving me here?" Keila sat up straight and almost spat out the wine she had in her mouth.
"That's what you took from what I told you? What about the part where he fucked a whore in the bed I sleep in?"
"Oh yes, that thing...." Was she for real? She should be on her side. "It was kind of low to do that. Especially in your rooms and just a day after your wedding but it's not like you're in love with him."
She stood up and started to pace around the room and waving her hands furiously. "I know but it still hurts. I guess I just hoped in some dignity in this marriage. He is my husband and even if he doesn't love me, he should have some respect for me"
Mirana was strangely amused by her behaviour. She seemed jealous. "Yes he should but tell me, is there a tiny miny chance that you actually like him?"
"What? No!... I mean, I don't even know him." Mia smirked at her knowingly. She actually liked her brother, she was jealous. "If you say so...."
Keila shook her head and drank the rest of her wine in one go. "Not the point. The point is he should respect me."
" My brother is a simple man, he honours actions and you have to earn his respect. Just wait till he gets to know you and he will find you worthy of his respect." Mia waved her hand at her.
"I hope, but I don't want him to think I'm happy about it. But then again, he doesn't care if I'm happy or not."
This was getting hopeless, he didn't have any interest in making her happy and she didn't have any way to make him listen to her.
"Even if he doesn't, you can always annoy him to the point he does what you want." She smiled at her brightly like it was a brilliant idea, but it sounded rather silly to Keila. "What do you mean to annoy him, how? He can always tell me off and that will be the end of my trying."
"You see, that's the thing, he can't really bawl you out for being silent." There was a smug look on her face, she was up to no good. "I don't know what you mean by that."
"What I mean is you should give him the silent treatment."
Keila sighed and took a seat next to Mia. "I don't know if you noticed, but your brother seems to love silence."
"He likes comfortable silence, but trust me, just refuse to talk to him and stay this angry and he will break. He's after all just another man." Could this work? Well, she could always try.
"Now, if you don't have anything else to share, I would love to have one last lunch with you before you leave." Keila smiled and nodded her head. "I would love that too."

They had a light lunch but unfortunately, Keila had to face him sometime, so she slowly made her way back to their chambers. Her legs seemed to be lazier than ever as her subconscious wanted to delay the moment as much as possible.
She opened the door and found Victoria and the other maid packing their things in two chests. Victoria handed her a small bag and Keila looked inside. There were some dresses and comb in there.
"It might take a while for the other baggage to arrive and you have no things there so you should probably take this with you. She smiled gratefully at her and helped her pack the rest of her things.
When they were almost done the door was opened by none other than Kronos. He marched to the room and he seemed kind of upset. Good, so was she.
"Finally, where have you been? I've been looking for you. We are leaving."
She continued packing like he wasn't looking at her and when she spoke her voice was stern. "I just went to say goodbye to your sister."
"Oh did you? So you didn't leave in the middle of an argument, disrespecting me."
The maids seemed to take a hint and left the room on their tippy toes. She would have laughed if she wasn't so angry right now.
She closed the chest with her clothes and continued to pack his stuff as the maid left it unfinished.
He was pacing around the room and upon seeing she didn't respond he became more irritated. "You don't have anything to say to me?"
"I thought I talked too much and there's not really anything for me to say." He stopped pacing, standing right behind her. The hair on her nape rose at how close he was.
She slowly stood up from her bent position by the chest and turned around to face him with her head high.
"I think I made myself clear. I'm not sleeping in that bed ever again and I did exactly what you wanted me to do." He didn't say anything, he just walked to the bed and took out his sword.
Before she could figure out what he was doing he swayed and the bed was almost cut in half. Keila jerked back taken by surprise. He swayed a few more times and when he was done the bed was broken to pieces, there were splinters on the ground and from the amount of feather in the air it looked like if it was snowing in the room.
He turned to her and frowned. "There, the bed is gone. Happy?"
"No"
He was standing right in front of her before she could blink. They were just a few inches apart and he was fuming. He looked even bigger than he normally did. His chest was heaving and his shoulders were shaking.
She was really scared of him right now. "Than tell me, what do you want from me?"
She gathered all her courage to make her voice work again but it came out softly much to her disappointment. "I want a little respect."
He looked taken back. For a moment none of them moved or said anything. Keila sighed defeated. "I honestly don't know what to think."
"Me neither." He was looking at her in the eyes and they shone with confusion. "I just know I hate that look you gave me this morning."
Did he feel guilty? "You wouldn't have to see it if I didn't find you like that." She muttered softly but he heard her clearly. "It won't happen again"
"What?" She was definitely surprised, not expecting that. "I won't bring anyone to our room again."
She smiled a little and he let out a soft breath. He didn't know why but he really felt bad and it was all because of the look on her face when she caught them. She looked disappointed and he didn't want to see that look ever again.
"Now, if we are good, let's get going." He took her hand and she let him. She quickly took her bag in her other hand and they made their way out of the destroyed room.
This certainly wasn't silent treatment but it worked just fine.
