Author's note: If you have read my other book HIS OWN UNDOING, then you are familiar with Rory John Gates and Keenan Hilton cause I might be bringing them into kid. If you haven't read these books, try and read them, if you can't, then don't fret, I'm just that author that likes bringing her cast from one story to another because they are all in the same world. Still I'll do my best try not to confuse you.

All through the service at church, I was disconnected as I kept wondering what William had to talk about. I wouldn't have taken it much to heart if he didn't sound like I was about to get killed or butchered to death. Or at least like it was a serious life decision.

When the service closes, I take a taxi back home. I stop at the front of the gate and I get down, I pay the taxi driver and make my way into the hous

I am eager to know and incredibly uncertain, I've spent 19 years of my life with William and he's never said we need to talk before and as much as I hate jumping into conclusion I know it's a bad thing.

I make my way towards the study room where I know William always spend his Sundays after breakfast. Once I get to the door, I knock gently on the door and I get no reply. I knock again and still no answer.

Weird, William never goes anywhere on Sundays.

I turn and was about leaving when I hear instinct voice coming from the study. I pause and draw closer to the door.

"If it is everything you say it is, then I'm very sure she will love it, thank you."

There is silence and I figured he's talking over the phone with someone. Who is the she he's referring to? If it is me, what am I going to like?

"Nice doing business with you too Mr. Franklin."

Figuring the conversion is probably over, I knock on the door again and this time there is a answer from William.

"Come in."

I turn the doorknob and slowly push the door open before stepping in. He seem to have changed his clothes cause I remember he was wearing a red long sleeve and now he is wearing a a white jersey and white shorts and his wearing a white converse. He looks ready to go out for sport and he has my support against whoever he'll be facing because he's in white.

"Going out?"

He nod, "Yea, I've got basketball with my pals Rory John Gates and Keenan Hilton, we'll talk business after sport."

Oh I remember them, they are his friends although he'd rather refer to them as his business partner than friends. We do have something in common no matter how different we are, we both love to pretend we like don't have any friend. While mine is partly true because Chloe is the only friend who I have and sometimes it's hard to decide if she's my friend because of me or because of William, he on the other hand has everything that would not make him turn out as a solo lobo, but he just loves the idea.

"Nice."

"You're home early." He points out, skepticism in his voice.

"You said 'we need to talk', so I came back early." I remind him, emphasizing on the need more than other words.

He nod and walk over to his seat and sits down. "You can sit down."

I walk over to the other brown leather seat and settle down, "So, what is it?"

He takes a deep calming breath and put his hands on the desk, "I stayed up all night and thought about what had happened between us the other night."

Why would he do that? Now I get why he ignored me when I asked how his night went in the morning.

"And I decided it's best if you move away from this house and go stay somewhere else." He says quickly, making it sound like he just asked me for a cup of coffee.

I glance at him to see if he's joking, but the look on that heavenly sculpted face tells me he is very serious. "Well for how long?" I ask and when he doesn't give a reply, "forever? How can you make such a decision without first informing me?"

His head lift and his gaze locks in mine, "I am your guardian, it's my duty to protect you from anything that pose as a threat to you, including myself."

I scowl in disagreement, I know he's my guardian, but now I think it's going over the top of it. ''You're not a threat to me, William where did you get this idea from?"

''I remember everything kid.'' He says through gritted teeth, but his anger doesn't seem to be towards me though, "I remember all that took place that night, and it's not as plain as you explained it. I would have had my way with you.."

"But you didn't." I counter in my defense.

''What about next time?" He demands, "What if you can't get me to stop? Then I'll live with the guilt for the rest of me life? I can't take the risk."

Why does he want to present himself like this barbaric creature that hunts for the flesh of humans. It was one night of a silly mistake how can he judge himself over that and not 9-10 years of being there as my guardian?

"So you're going to take the easy way out and throw me out before that happens." I say with a non committal hum and nod my head.

He shakes his head in denial, "I'm not doing such a thing, I'm letting you go. The house is big, safe and well secured. I know you're gonna like it."

But I don't want to go anywhere you're not.

"William please, I don't want to go. I want to stay here with you, we can figure this out without doing this." I plead, my voice weakening with every passing seconds.

I've lived my life here around this people, this environment and him and changing that is going to be impossible. I don't do well with change and I don't want to do well with it.

"I'm sorry," he apologizes even though his eyes says nothing like the apology he is giving. "I can't do that, I can't put your life in danger."

"You are not dangerous William, I know yo-" I don't get to finish because he cuts me off brutally.

"You know nothing about me kid!" He snap harshly, slamming his hand on the desk and I almost jump out of my skin.

He draws a restraining breath and he closes his eyes briefly before opening them, and when he begins to speak again, his voice sounding like the final say. "You're going to go into your room and get your things together and when you're done, Simon will help you to your new home."

My lips quiver and painful tears run down my face. "This is not fair."

He looks away from me down at his hands, "It's not supposed to be, but you're gonna thank me for this some day."

I get up and walk out of the study with tears still running down my face and I meet Cassandra who gives me a questioning eyes, but I ignore and open the door to my room. When I'm in, I slam it shut and walk to my wardrobe and I pull my bag and my clothes to the bed and begin to sort them in.

Furious at the continuous blurring of my vision, I wipe the tears coming down away and sniff the rest back in.

I continue to stuff my clothes into the bag and his voice run round my head.

I remember everything kid.

I am your guardian.

It's my duty to protect you from anything that pose as a threat to you.

Including myself.

What about next time?

What if you can't stop me?

I'm letting you go.

I can't put your life in danger.

You know nothing about me kid!

How can he say that to me? I want to say, but it's the truth, I only know what he wants me to know, I don't know and I know better not to ask. If he consider himself so dangerous it's because he's done something as bad before. Maybe hurt someone deeply and instead of facing his challenges and fear head on, he tries to push them aside like a coward.

I'm not letting him dictate what I do or where I go just like I don't dictate those things to him.

I slam my bag shut, get off the bed and walk out of my room and walk to the study.

As I approach, the door of the study opens and William walk out holding a basketball in his right hand and as I get to him, I stand before him.

His brow slowly rises and his eyes dims as he looks down at him, but before he gets to say a word, I beat him to it.

"You said your mind earlier, and now it's my turn and I say I'm not going anywhere and nothing you do can make me change my mind."

In one swift moment, he pulls me into the study and he shuts the door. He slams my back against the door and his hand pins me there; his right hand still holding the basketball in his hand.

Talk about control.

"This is not some telenovela kid, this is reality and I'm -" this time I cut him off.

"Only doing what is best for me." I complete, mimicking his tone of voice and failing miserably because I hear him chuckle and my cheeks heat up in embarrassment.

"This rebellion is uncalled for kid, did you forget I'm doing this for you?"

I shake my head completely ready to disagree with him. "You're doing this for yourself what happened that night happened because you lost control and ran to the bar and got drunk instead of facing it on like a real man." I spit out at him and I only realise what I had said after a brief moment.

"I'll give you a moment to think that through." He says, stepping back and bouncing the ball twice; he catches it the second time and turn to me, "Now that you have, I'd like to say two things. First, I didn't run to the bar, I walked because I have one across the living room and secondly real men drink." His point seems to bring an evil smirk to his face.

I scoff in disbelief, "They certainly don't get drunk and pry on the weak," I slam hardly.

Where is this coming from?

My words seem to have taken him by surprise because he stares at me as if he haven't seen me before. "Your point is?"

"My point is that I'm not leaving, so screw your decision, screw the house and screw you."

The basketball drops from his hand and the next thing I know he slams my back hard against the door and pinning me there with his hands so I can't move.

I guessed I finally got under the skin of William McQueen II.

I stare at him in panic to see a dark sneer on his face, his jaw is clenched and his grey eyes are now black. There is a dare on his face and though there is unlikable anger in his eyes, there is something more than that, something that shakes me to the core.

There is hunger, devouring hunger.

"Would you mind repeating the last part of your sentence again?"

Screw you?
