LOGINEvans had literally forced the clothes on Derek as he begged him to follow him over to Simon's for dinner.
"You won't go on a date with me, but you do this?" Derek asked as they walked out of the house.
"You never asked me out on a date Derek." Evans informed him.
"So, if I asked you out, would you say yes?" Derek asked, giving Evans a side glance.
"Meh!" Evans shrugged, he looked away from Derek so be wouldn't see the smile that crept on his face.
"Meh?" Derek stopped walking but Evans didn't, he kept on walking towards Derek's car. "What does 'Meh' mean?"
~~~~~~~
"Evans!" Simon called as he opened the door, wrapping his tiny hands around Evans as he hugged him. He pulled back after a moment and looked at Derek, who was standing by the side, not ready knowing what to do.
"Simon, this is Derek. Derek, this is Simon, a good friend of mine," Evans introduced.
"Hi, nice to meet you." Derek said offering a handshake which Simon accepted quickly.
"Nice to meet you too Derek," Simon told him, while sending a mischievous grin towards Evans. "Come in, come in." He stepped aside as he beckoned them in.
"Princess are they here yet?" A voice called from the room.
"Princess?" Evans raised a questioning eyebrow towards Simon.
Simon slammed his palm on his forehead. "He still insists on calling me that." He told Evans as he led them to the living room.
Derek glanced round, admiring the interior of the building. He had to admit, whoever designed the house had a nice taste. Then he heard footsteps approaching, and out stepped a young man. He had midnight black hair and the brightest green eyes Derek had ever seen, he was tall and you could tell he visited the gym with how fit he was.
"Derek, this is my husband, Damon," Simon said as Damon walked towards them.
"Nice to meet you Derek, I have heard much about you," Damon said with a small smile on his face.
"Nice to meet you too Damon, though you have me lost on the last part, heard much about..." He stopped talking and nodded his head understandingly when Damon nodded towards Simon, who was now leading Evans to another part of the room. Derek chuckled, shaking his head. He and Damon followed them away.
~~~~~~
"So, Simon tells me you're a detective, working on the Louis Fellington case," Damon said.
Derek at him and nodded. "Yes, I am."
"Wow you're lucky, your everyday life is a movie," Damon said as they walked few feet behind Simon and Evans.
"It's really not as interesting as it seems, and it's can get really frustrating at times." Derek admitted.
"I would have loved to be a detective," Simon said as he dropped his glass of wine. "But someone thought it was too dangerous and made me go in the art direction."
"Well, I am pretty sure that 'Someone' was only concerned about your safety," Damon said with an innocent shrug. Simon shot him a look, but all he did was wink at him and went back to his food.
Derek smiled at the couple, admiring their relationship, sometimes they would have a short banter over the littlest thing, then the next moment they were all lovey-dovey. You could tell they loved each other very much, with the way they looked at each other, or the way ones eyes spark while watching the other speak. Derek felt a slight ache in his chest as he thought about this, was he ever going to find someone that would make him this happy? He wondered.
"So, how did you two meet?" Derek asked.
"Oh, we met in highschool actually," Simon said.
Damon chuckled, a mischievous smile taking over his face, as he mind seemed to go back to the past. "You see, Simon here wanted to lose his 'lip virginity'."
"No! Don't start the story with that part," Simon complained, embarrassed.
"I wanna hear that part!" Evans chirped.
"Of course you do," Simon grumbled, making Evans laugh at his friend state. Damon proceeded and told them how a drunk Simon had stumbled into his room in search of a bathroom and the night they had together, how their love began and the crazy people that tried to put an end to it.
"So wait, she tried to rape you and then tried to kill you?" Evans asked, surprised by the crazy story of Caroline.
"Yup, I always knew she was crazy, it was Damon here that was blinded." Simon told Evans.
"She was my best friend, I had no idea that she had turned to something else during her stay in South Carolina."
"Have you guys heard from her since then?" Derek inquired.
"No, we haven't. Last I heard, she was taken to some psychiatric ward." Damon told him. "Well, you've heard our story. What about you two, tell us your story."
Evans froze and turned slowly to look at Derek, then back to Damon and Simon. "W—We uhmm... We actually met in the club."
"In the club?" Simon asked surprised. "Evans, I thought you didn't do clubbing, I have tried to drag you along with me and Alex several times, and you said no."
"Wait, when did you go to the club with Alex, does Stiles know about this?" Damon asked.
"Yeah, he comes with us sometimes." Simon admitted.
"How do I not know about this? Why would you go without me?"
"Well, you were always busy and... Well, if it makes you feel better we don't go there to flirt with guys, we just have a couple of drinks, dance a little, and we go home," Simon told him with a shrug.
Derek and Evans kept quiet as they watched the banter between the couples. Evans was glad the subject was away from him, he didn't want to talk about the night he met Damon.
"How is that supposed to make me feel better, I don't want other men watching you dance," Damon complained.
"You actually don't want 'other men' watching me at all." Simon said.
"True, do you have a problem with that?"
"No, because I want only you watching me, do you have a problem with that?"
"No," Damon said. "Because I like watching you." He added, and like that everything was forgotten. The two couples went back to their lovey-dovey self.
An hour later
"Thanks for the dinner Simon, we had a wonderful time," Evans said as they walked out of the house.
"Great, that means we will do this again, maybe Alex and Stiles will join us next time," Simon told him, making Evans wonder if there will be a next time. Simon still thinks that he and Damon were dating.
"That would be nice," Evans said. They arrived at Derek's car and waited for Derek, who was in a heated conversation with Damon.
"Are you kidding me, the blue team will kick the red's team ass," Derek protested.
"Oh please, the blue team can't summon enough energy to kick an ass," Damon argued.
"Oh Lord, fine. How about we watch the match together?" Derek asked.
"Yeah." Damon nodded. "How about we do a little bet?" He suggested.
"Even more interesting, what's the bet?"
"Not sure what it should be yet, but we would settle on that another time and we can-"
"Guys!" Simon called. "Can you finish your little argument later, It's really cold out here."
Derek and Damon finally decided to drop it, he opened the door for Evans who got in quickly, then went round to the other door and got in himself, they baded their final goodbye before driving away.
Damon turned to Evans. "Let me go warm you up princess, then you can tell Daddy about those clubs you've been attending."
Simon gulped, he knew Damon wouldn't let that go easily.
~~~~~~~
"They are such a nice couple," Derek complimented on the way back.
Evans chuckled. "Yeah, they are." They both kept quiet for awhile. "Too bad you couldn't meet their son, he is the cutest thing you will ever see."
"Yeah." Derek smiled as he remembered the pics of the little boy Simon had showed him. "Do you uhmm... forget it."
"What? Do I what?" Evans asked.
"Nevermind."
"Hey, that's not fair. Tell me, now I want to know," Evans pushed, poking Derek by the side.
"That's not a good idea," Derek said laughing. "I can be ticklish."
"Really?" Evans eyes lit up, as a mischievous look took over his face. "I would never have taken you for the ticklish kind." He said wiggling his fingers just underneath Derek's ribcage.
"That's not a good idea Evans, I am driving," Derek managed to say amidst laughter. He decided to go away from the main road and packed at the side of the street. Turning towards Evans he captured his wrist in his. "You're evil."
Evans grinned. "I know, now tell me what was on your mind."
Derek sighed. "Fine, I was just going to ask if you planned on having some one day."
"Planned on having what?" Evans asked, confused.
"Kids, do you ever plan on having one?" Derek asked again.
"Are you kidding? Of course, and I don't just plan on having one, about three or four. Three first, then one more when the other three kicks teenage bucket." Evans told him. "What about you? Ever plan on having one?"
Derek smiled and nodded his head. "Yeah, at first I was worried. But watching the way Simon and Damon talked about their kid, if they could do it, I believe I can."
"Do you want to tell me why you were worried?"
"Just... Being a father and all, my dad wasn't the best, kinda close to the worst. It's just that, I don't want to be like him." Derek admitted.
Evans kept quiet for awhile, then he grabbed Derek's hand in his. "Now listen to me detective, you are not your father, ok? You are Derek and he is an asshole, big difference. I can tell you're going to be an amazing father, and you are going to have your partner by your side to be your strength whenever you're feeling weak."
"My partner," Derek mumbled under his breathe staring at Evans. After a moment of total silence, he cleared his throat. "Thanks Evans, we should probably head home now."
"Yeah, we should." Evans said quietly.
~~~~~~~~
Evans lay on the bed, his eyes wide open as he stared at the ceiling, Derek was in the bathroom taking a shower. He closed his eyes as the image of he and Derek together as partners appeared in his head. He smiled as a image of Derek trying to change the baby's diapers took over.
##
"Evans a hand wouldn't kill now," Derek said as he struggled to change the diapers.
"And miss this moment on record? No way!" He giggled as Derek shot him a look.
Their son Chris was proving to be a handful, he found the frustrated look on the man above very funny. Raising both legs up, he released a small fart.
##
Evans found himself in fits of laughter and that was the same position Derek found him when he stepped out of the bathroom.
"What's so funny?" Derek asked.
"Nothing, just imagining our son messing up." The words left his mouth before he realised it.
"Our son?"
Evans froze, the words hitting him, curse his cancer self, he thought as he slapped his head mentally. "I—I wasn't... I didn't... Goodnight!" He turned away from Derek, facing the other side as his shut his eyes tight.
"Wait!" Evans heard footsteps, then shuffling around, then the footsteps got closer till he was sure they stopped just beside him. "Evans?" But Derek got no reply. "I know you're not asleep Evans, can you just look at me?"
Evans lay still thinking Derek would let him be, but the next thing he knew Derek was placing his arms beneath him, he lifted him up and placed him on his body. "What the-" Evans squirmed around, trying to free himself of the strong hold on his body, but to no avail.
"You're not making the situation easier," Derek said. Evans stopped moving, he didn't know what to do, Derek was looking straight at him and he couldn't stare back.
"I wasn't thinking," He said quietly. "Please let me go now." He waited for Derek to release him, but nothing happened. He turned to face Derek, to find Derek's face, really close to his. "W—What are you doing?"

Daisy found nobody in the room and the door was also closed. She was feeling dizzy and weak but still while staggering she managed to stand up from the bed. Taking slow careful steps, she started walking towards the door, supporting the bed. She was feeling that suddenly her body started feeling heavy. Even walking was difficult for her. The gown, she was wearing was not of her size. It was a little loose but she felt comfortable in it.S
On the the third floor, one of those lace barriers twitched. A shadow moved past, just a flicker of darkness, so fast it almost escaped Crook's enhanced scrutiny. The signet ring on his right finger hummed against his skin, hot and urgent.He glanced down at the ring.A hot, solid wave of energy slammed against his expanded thoughts. His head snapped back from the rush of power. His mind folded in on itself and his perceptions screeched down to normal speed so abruptly he almost stumbled. His ears rang. His jaw ached from clenching his teeth-and from- from what.A mental slap?Had somebody really slapped him? He rubbed the space between his right eye and his chin. Damned if it didn't burn.What the hell? Some kind of barrier. Some kind of elemental protections? The beast inside him wanted to snarl and retreat, but he couldn't let that happen. He was here in New York city, with his partner Andy, poking around on the ritualistic murder of a senator'
"I'm sorry, Tayla. If only I can make you stay in our house, I would. But you know our house is not that big and my Mom is a human Armalite, right?" Ella scratched her head and hold the edge of the map, glancing at me before she continued mopping the floor.We are again, in Talk and Chill. Tomorrow I wouldn't be here for the class will start and I need a place where I can stay. Unluckily, Ella, my best friend just told me that she's wasn't able to offer me a hand.I sighed. "I understand, Ella. Thanks for telling me early." I turned around and went towards the sink to wash the dishes, my lips twisting a bit as I thought...why are we getting paid under minimum wage when we do almost all kinds of things in this chill bar? We should at least have an increase."Tayla, I don't understand you. When your parents died, your Aunt Tanya stood as your guardian, but why are you planning to leave your own house?" She stood up and glanced at me with her bewildered, round eyes
