CHAPTER 4 : More Than Just A Voice II

"Go get Calypso, she has to magic to you know, find out something from him! I'd try to get anything extra out!" Said Pete.

As seen, the dude in the coat was tied go a chair. Scars around his face, effecting from the brute of Eira and Pete were marked with blood flowing down.

He turned over to his left as he spat.

"Let's try this one more time!" Said Pete, who flung a cricket bat through the air and catching it.

"Who...the fuck are these people and what exactly do you have to do with them? Asked Pete with a wide smile.

Scene changes over Eira as she exited the building. Peering around, realised that Calypso wasn't where she was assigned to stay.

Light Fades

Calypso as seen had already arrived at the room where the voice had beckoned her. She as seen, was free from the override. She glanced across the room, in fright. Three figures were seen on a table, as seen, they were close enough to the missing figures, John, Khloe and Maria.

Calypso looked into a sheet that was on the table thus reading what was written in it aloud.

"She who hides, seeks to know, perhaps choose from all written on the board as thus, what you desire to know has an answer!" In an Allura font and black colour, it was written on the sheet.

Being frightened by all, she shivered as she slowly turned over to the board, "by six times ten", notes were placed on it, each being covered with a red sheet tied like a gift card.

Light fades.

"Calypso!" Yelled Eira

Scenes changed instantly as Calypso was seen once again. Witches had walked the earth for years Calypso, for years, now cannot be our downfall yet. Said the voice of Temptress, the unknown. Sounds filled in the empty scene. Rushing waters of rivers, sounds of spiders making nests, little details, caught.

"If you choose to know your past, you shall perhaps, host the works of hell as thus, you shall be a poppet to help set hell free." The voice added.

"Do you choose to know your past?" All sounds heard, closed up as all the voice filled her head. Calypso's eyes ran across the room as all little details were caught. Suddenly it seemed like blood rushed towards the front of her head. It seemed like a pang, but it was just a voice.

"I want to know!" She yelled as sight instantly sank into her forehead, catching glimpse of clips from her past. Her yells filled the room and further more the circus, hereby alarming Eira.

"Calypso!" She yelled as she ran towards the circus.

Seen on the floors of the room, Calypso laid with her arms spread apart. Her eyes were pitch black, at least before Eira came across. Thus the darkness that veiled her eyes cleared out instantly.

"Calypso!" Eira called as opened the door of the room. Thus, on opening it, all seen in it vanished, all show was Calypso in a pitch black room with nothing else to be seen. The edges of the room suddenly broke apart as lava burnt through the floor, reading to break through.

Scene changes instantly giving no clue to what happened, what I'd happening or what is going to happen.

A ring of light blasted across the head of a man seen in a room, dark red, and on a throne. Light rays blasted through the ceiling directly to the floor, in the shape of a pentacle. The pentacle thus, resulted from the shape created above.

Sight slowly moves us and once again, a face that had been seen before was shown once again.

"Our plan just played out exactly how we wanted it my Lord!" Said Asmodeus. He slowly stood up, glaring higher at something unseen. He bowed next to who stood before him. Heavy breath, heard as sight catches little details from what it light be, the hoof of a goat, and its aggressive grunt.

"We won!" He grinned, as he spread his arms apart. "We won!" His yells got followed by him turning over. Angle of view changed as still, what he starred at wasn't seen. Sight caught more creatures, bloody in their making, possessing the body of a man and the head of a goat.

"As thus, the celestial, John is gone, earth is ours to conquer!"

Light Fades.

"We need to leave here now!" Said Eira, panting heavily as she held Calypso in one hand.

Pete on his hand, had the dude arm wrapped around his neck as he aided him to walk.

"What happened"? His heart clenched on hearing Eira. Thus he gasped as his eyes widened.

"This place will be on fire any time soon." "Larva is melting everything!" Eira detailed.

"The book!" Calypso mumbled, thus, catching the attention of them both. Part of the play items sank into the ground as the flame engulfed them.

"The book!" She said again with a weaker tone this time before coughing. Pete had a reoccurring vision of a book he saw as he glanced around the room while handling the guy they found to be a suspect of something perhaps.

"The...!" Without completing his words, he cursed.."Shit!" He left grip the guy as he hastily turned over, running back to where he came out from.

The flames that made their way to various places, burning through even metals. Lava on its own, flowed like a stream across the carnival, eating everything up.

Pete had his struggle on getting in perhaps, it was a challenge. His eyes went across the room as he searched for a place to go through for the sole purpose of getting his hands on the book Calypso requested for.

On finding no way in or even a possible way out, he closed his eyes tight, let go of all his fingers before folding them back once more. Just as all fingers were aligned he vanished.

Pete was seen again, just beside all the materials that were up for bid. The hammer, Mjölnir, sparked thunder as it slowly levitated from the floor. With intense speed, it sparked flames upon all things that weren't on fire yet as it flew off the roof. Those that Eira had frozen, unfortunately, the remain of their body was liquefied.

Pete had his iris running across his sclera as he picked up the book. Rims of rods were just about to fall over him before he vanished. The building for the bid collapsed into itself just as Pete spawned out of it.

Thus they were as close as they are to the exit of the carnival. Pete wrapped his hand around Eira's arm, most unfortunately, the ring of John slipped out of his pocket. His instantly vanished before flames blasted everything around the carnival into complete ash.

Light Fades.

An after result of the catastrophe was nothingness of the carnival as all in it were ashes, brittle flames and smoke tips reaching for the sky.

As the eyes of shadow expanded, more view perhaps was caught. Glimpse from corners of the carnival, taken. Thus, at the current inexistent entrance of the carnival, the eyes of shadow caught the legs of a lady, short hills, dark coat reaching for her ankle and her face, thus, which was covered in her bold dark glasses.

Flames were seen through her glasses and her little wrinkles marked and showed that she wasn't anything likely. She exhaled lightly, with a grin, shrugging her shoulders. Her face tilted downwards as a final glimpse was caught. She had the ring of John, in her finger.

She turned over stepping away as the light gusting of the wind blew the lower part of her coat. She stopped one last time, turning over to the left side, thus, she saw the blinking lights of what happened to be "TEMPTRESS, SEEK THE UNKNOWN!"

Her shoulders as pushed backwards by the stop of her movement and indefinite posture, went forward along with her motion of walk which happened after her wide grin.

Light Fades.

"Sixty-third. Sixty-third." Andrea Myles squinted through oversized sunglasses as she wedged the Crown Vic through New York traffic. "We're here. And I didn't say Anna was weird. I said she was unconventional."Crook Kingsman struggled to keep the growl out of his voice. "Some kind of psychic, isn't she? Anna Dumain. Sounds like a television tarot reader.""She's not a tarot reader." Andy braked and slipped into a rare parking space alongside Central park. "She's a scientist who studies... unusual things. She and her two cousins. They're like private investigators."Crooks gut tightened at Andy's I'm-holding-a-few-things-back tone. "And?" "And she's my friend, so you better be nice to her." "And?" He drummed his fingers on two thin, unmarked folders stacked between them on the Crown Vics seat.
