Two years ago, I receive a sudden call from someone that my brother Fred is in the hospital I quickly rush there, when I got there my brother was unconscious I was told that some people found him at the seashore, I don't know why he was there at such time or what he went there for, his car was also found at the front of an abadoned building, the cops start investigating what happen that night, they found blood in the abadoned building and some fingerprints, later we get to know that his girlfriend Hadiza was missing and she was probably kidnapped, my brother went to the abadoned building to save her it was known from his call record that he received a threat call, the cops search for Hadiza but there is no trace of her anywhere, the number that called my brother that night could not be traced either it was a burn phone, the blood that was found in the abadoned building was that of Hadiza and the fingerprints was my brother's, the cops said the kidnapping was done by professionals because they leave no trace, the cops continue to investigate but nothing came up, after my brother regain consciousness he scatter the hospital and scream for his girlfriend but he was told that his girlfriend could not be found his condition get worst and his mental state was affected, he was later transfer to a private psychiatrist hospital, whenever he wake up and did not see Hadiza he will start to scream her name the doctor said he is traumatized because of his girlfriend or may be he saw something he should not have seen, Jayden sigh deeply and continue Fred was in the psychiatrist hospital for three months before he was discharged he was just a little better when he was discharged from the hospital he will sometimes be traumatized at night in his dreams because of the incident, he return to work after three months from when he was discharged from the hospital, after he return to work, Hadiza's parent came to arrest my brother they suspect him for their daughter's kidnap since it was only his fingerprints that was found in the abadoned building, I want to take care of it but my brother did not allow me, he said he will face trial, the case was really serious then because it was made public and our company was really affected but my brother was later proved innocent, after the case my brother always blame himself for what happened to Hadiza because he thought she was kidnapped because of him, he become hostile, cold and he did not talk to anyone about anything he only works day and night, no one knew what he is thinking or what happen that night except him he did not tell anyone about it but only ask the cops to continue looking for Hadiza, the cops continue to search for Hadiza like a year all over France but they could not find her they later conclude that she may be dead, till now my brother is still looking for Hadiza because he thought she is not dead. No one knew he could not sleep at night but I know, he hide the fact that he could not sleep from everyone and take different kind of drugs for him to be able to sleep, sometimes because he is traumatized in his dreams he will work at night, he always act weird, most times he argue and fight with no one in particular, Jayden sigh deeply. Anny stop and stare at Jayden she feel really sorry for his brother am really sorry about your brother I should not have ask about it she is really sorry to hear his story, it's okay Jayden smile sadly he keep quiet for sometime before he talk actually I don't know if I should say this Jayden escitates, what did you want to say? Anny looked at him, my brother as been visiting a psychiatrist for two years now but there seems to be no improvement the doctor said that if he could find someone to fill the space of his former girlfriend in his heart he could be helped but my brother is not ready to have any girlfriend, Anny nod her head in understanding, hum... Jayden thought about something and look to Anny for a long time then lower his head he talk in a low voice, I don't know if you could help my brother he pause and continue, when I saw you yesterday I was really happy I thought you are Hadiza. Anny stare at him in astonishment and smirk that is the funniest joke she have heard in a long time, help his brother he must be joking she want to know where Jayden is driving at so she kept quiet, when Jayden notice that Anny did not respond he continue, since you and Hadiza look exactly like each other I don't know if you could help my brother by acting like his former girlfriend, Jayden look at her with expectation and pain in his eyes, Anny was flustered she don't know how to react to what he said she swallow her saliva because she is angry she look straight into his eyes Mr Jayden or what did you say your name is, she stop walking and face him I should have already knew you are up to no good, am the fool that believe and hear all your nonesense how did you expect me to do that? She smile bitterly, who do you take me for? And how did I even know if all what you said is true? She fold her arms arrogantly, Jayden did not believe that she could say something like that, why will she think that he is lying? His face turn sore and he sigh, but since he need her to help his brother he could only stay calm and try to persuade her to help his brother, if not for his brother she will not be able to talk to him like that, no one dare talk to him like that, he close his eyes to calm down and said with a persuasive voice I really understand you Anny but I really need you to help my brother please it was the first time he ever begged someone in his life he look sincere but Anny could not just trust someone that she met yesterday and moreover how did she even know he is telling the truth, Mr Jayden am sorry I cannot help you or your brother Anny turn around and leave, Jayden look at her back disappointedly he sigh and also leave. Anny get home that night she could not sleep she keep thinking about what Jayden say to her it makes her angry, the more she think about it the more she get angry, why am I getting angry? She ask herself it seems as if she is not angry with Jayden but herself why am I getting angry at myself? I did nothing wrong she said nonchallantly and hiss then she turn around on the bed, she later stand up and take out the family photo album, she begin to look at the pictures from her childhood she still could not believe someone will look exactly like her when they don't have any relation she sigh and went back to sleep.
