Anthony Brooks' POV

"what do you mean , I am confused by what you are saying, are you sure?

" yes Sir, this are real pictures, which proves that everything I am telling you is true and Legit, I can never lie to you Boss, especially with something as sensitive as this" the Private Investigator informed him.

He had just been presented him pictures of  Nicholas and the missing Daughter of the Summers, Whitney Summers all cosy on more than one occasion. She was the mysterious lady he had been spending time with of late ,the reason why he had been slacking in his responsibilities and why I had to punish him with extra responsibilities. She was a looker, no wonder his son was head over heels from the moment he met her.

This was good and bad news, since they already seem Love struck by each other, getting them married will be easier than expected  , the bad part was how he would send his son details of the young lady to his son, when he already knew how things would turn out.

"Marie" he called out to his personal assistant to ask for her opinion on the matter, of course he would not tell her it was about his son as he knew about their entanglement during his trip right here in his office. Disrespectful, Disgusting and inappropriate youths of today, if he wasn't his son, his body would have been discovered lifeless in the river. But more than anything else he loved his son even though he did not show him well in his early years but he is trying to make up for them now.

Marie came in and he told her of the situation he was in and asked on the best discussion to make, of course she felt the same as he did  and he allowed things to play out. If fate was in their side, they would meet and then he may have no other option but to break his son's heart.

He knew for sure that the young girl was not missing or kidnapped as they parents, The Summers told him, she of course ran away from the house because of the constant abuse from her step mother, and from his diggings she was not aware of that, poor child he thought.

He was thinking of ways to keep his Son busy over there in Los Angeles, because from his sources The young lady fled there and he knew it would be a matter of time before hopefully they would cross paths and things would play out naturally, else he would have to tell his son the truth.

Whitney's POV

I woke up excited, yeah I had a date with Justin today, but that is not the reason for my excitement. After my kiss with Justin the other night I realized one thing, I missed Nick and I think I might be falling for him, kissing Justin made me realize that Nick was special to me , I know I sound like a certain teenage girl but there is a special feeling I get around Nick, yes!! I feel the butterflies flying up and down my belly, it seems some may have found there way to my heart even. And most importantly I needed to tell Justin how I felt, I did not want to lead him on falsely when I knew I want someone else and I'm probably not ready or even in the right situation to be doing all this mushy stuff, I just ran away from home coming to a new town , starting brand new and it's almost as if no one cares, all the times I spoke to Lily she barely mentioned them missing me or wondering if I'm fine or anything, she just mentioned once that Mum was looking through my room incase I left the keys to the safe and was upset when she realized I did not leave it behind, I smiled knowing I deliberately left the house with the key to cause a little distress for them too.

I stood up from bed, the thought of home had ruined my appetite for me, I went into the bathroom to brush my teeth and shower. I decided to do the laundry and shit I realized I forgot to buy detergent, amongst other things, I didn't have a TV yet, or even a toaster and I do not joke with my toasted bread!!!.

I quickly dressed up in a Nike Track pants and a plain black crop top with nike joggers. I packed my hair in a messy bun ,picked my credit card, ID and car keys and headed out, while going down in the elevator, I decided to call Justin to ask where I could buy this few Appliances and get the company to come and install them with discount included..

" Hey Good Morning" I greeted cheerfully

"Morning " he answered before I yawning, I guess I just woke him up

" woah, do not swallow me, did I wake you up" I felt bad for disturbing his sleep on a weekend.

" Nope, I'm actually on bed working on my laptop" I felt relieved

" okay well , you I just moved here, and I want to get a TV for my place and I was wondering if you could recommend a place for me or if you would come along you know" I said sounding cute , I did not want to hear a no

He went silent for a while, I guess he was deciding if he should or not...

" are you thinking about excuses you could give to get out if this"

" well yeah.. Uhmmm I mean no actually"

"Uh, huhhhh.  So ??"

" I will actually need sometime to get ready, I'll come pick you in half an hour" he answered

" uhmm, why don't I come to your place then we'll go together"

" okay that would be perfect"

" you're the best Justy, what would I do without you" I exaggerated

He chuckled, then I ended the call.

I went to a restaurant close by " CREME AND DESERTS" to have breakfast, they literally have the best hot chocolate I've tasted in my life and their Tiramisu amazing. I ordered some more for Justin along side coffee as compensation more like bribe for helping me out.

As soon as I got to his house I was ushered in by a lady who I assumed was the house keeper. She went up to let Justin know I had arrived, as I waited in the parlour. She came down few minutes later.

" Would you like tea" she asked politely

" No thank you, just water please" I replied not wanting to seem rude for rejecting her offer.

She later brought me a glass of water. Justin came down few minutes later.

" Sorry for coming down late, I had to round up some work before coming down, things are getting busier in the office" he apologized more like gave excuses but it was fine, as long as we went to shoo together.

" So I brought you coffee and Tiramisu, the most amazing Tiramisu you will ever have" I winked after including the latter part of my statement.

" Nice cause I'm really hungry" he said smiling. I walked closer to him and he hugged me and pecked me on my cheek. He led me to the dining room where we sat as he took the coffee and desert.

" uuuhhmmm" he moaned in pleasure as he chewed, I guess this was the best Tiramisu he had ever tasted.

" this is amazing, perfect my day just got a whole lot better" he continued as he gestured the OK HAND SIGN at me.

After that we went outside to leave

" Is that your ride" he asked as he gestured towards my G wagon. He seemed somewhat surprised.

" Yeah it is" I answered smiling proudly.

" I did not think you'd be the G wagon type, you seem like a Ford Mustang, Rolls Royce type of woman, I should be scared of you" he said surprised and in a suspicious tone, he looked like he wanted to ask more questions or say more but he probably didn't want to push it.

" well I am that type of car lady but I always love a G wagon, It was for a particular purpose but I did not end up using it, but here we are, I don't regret tho" I said sadly as I was forced to remember the circumstances surrounding buying it.

He probably noticed my sad mood and decided to let the conversation go.

" we'll take my car to go out, or would you rather we used yours. I don't think its wise to go with two cars." he asked thoughtfully.

"Let's take mine, I haven't really used her" I answered. I gave him the keys and I entered the passengers seat.

" So is it just a TV we are buying" he questioned

I knew I only told him about buying a television, so I batted my lashes at him with a sheepish grin plastered on my face.

" I guess not from your expression, so what else are we getting " he asked quietly like he was calculating something.

" uhmm, I do need a toaster , Dish washer, electric grill and slow cooker that's all I guess , for now" I said smiling awkwardly as I was stressing him out.

" okay It's no big deal, I know someone that has good stuff, with discount prices, that's where Zach bought most of our appliances, they have literally everything electronic you can think of"

" he has hair dryer?"

" uhmm , yup"

"Electric toothbrush or uhm dildos , toys you know" i asked trying to contain a naughty laughter

He pursed for a while like he could not believe my question then he started laughing and I joined in soon

"How the fuck will I know if he sells an electric tooth brush and Dildos or toys, why should I even know if he sell those"

" toothbrush?" I asked fake innocently

He glared at me before answering.

" no dildos and toys, talking about it is fucking weird so no more"

" okay no more talk about dildos and sex toys, but one thing though"

"Uh - huh "

" have you used it before,

"Whatttttt" he asked as he shifted uncomfortablely on the seat

"Used Dildos and other sex toys"

" I thought we agreed not to talk about it"

" nope we didn't, you suggested and I did not agree, at least I don't remember" I grinned mischievously

"Okayyy then"

"Soooo" I pursued to his dismay

" so whatt Nene, won't you drop this" he said obviously embarrassed

"Nope I won't, so the earlier you answer, the earlier I drop it, the happier we are, what do you think" I said turning to face him with a smile of encouragement.

"Okay Fine, I haven't used them before , are you happy, will you finally drop it" he said in defeat and much to my delight.

" that wasn't so hard now, was it?

"It wasn't hard, It's not the type of discussion I'd like to have with you"

" why not, are you shy of my Justy" I said teasingly poking his arm with my index finger

" I didn't know you were this much of a tease Nene, there is a lot about you that surprises me" he was clearly trying to change the topic and I was not hear for it.

" don't change the topic , I know what you're trying to do"

"  And what I'm I trying to do Nene" he smirked after asking knowing he was winning this time

Oh no you don't young man!!!

"Are you shy about talking about sexual things with me" I was pretty straight forward and it surprised me too, luckily for him we just got to the store, he quickly parked and rushed out mumbling some words under his breathe as he headed into the store"

I went in not long after him , I saw him talking to someone whom I had assumed was the owner of the place as he was not wearing a uniform like the others. As soon as Justin noticed me , he gestured for me to come over.

" this is my friend, that I was telling you about, this is Nene, Nene he's the owner of the shop Bob" he introduced us

" nice to meet you, welcome, " he said as he extended his hand for a hand shake,

" thank you" I said cordially as she shook hands.

" let me show you around, Justin already told me the appliances you need " he said as he led us further into the Store, it was very big and well arranged, there were different appliances arranged according, close to thw entrance it was kitchen appliances, the next section had bathroom appliances, apparently he had more than just electric appliances, he showed me different brands of Tv, I could not decide so he recommended the  Samsung Q90R QLED Smart 4K UHD TV. Picking the remaining appliances was easy, I just picked the ones I was used to seeing back at home. I was ready to pay but Justin insisted to pay and we argued for long before we finally decided to play Rock and Scissors to see who wins and Yeah he won. Bob sent the appliances with few of his men to help installing them.

On the way home I was nervous because Justin was coming to my place, it was more of excitement. At the same time I knew he was going to ask questions, cause I seemed to be living in luxury but I never mentioned my Job, one our date the previous nights he hinted at me so many times to mention my Job but I didn't, It's not like I had anything to hide but I did not want him digging things about me.

We soon got to my place, and he seemed impressed

" Nene your place looks amazing and to think you did it all by yourself I'm impressed, you're good with decorations" he praised me as we drank juice in the kitchen while the men where installing the TV.

" Yeah, I have always had a passion for interior designs" I answered proudly.

" To bad you already have a Job, I would have loved to have you on this new team working on this new project in my company, you're really talented" he offered. The beginning of our trouble

" Oh that would have been nice, where do you work" I asked curiously considering he always mentioned work, I needed to know where it was

" Brooks Construction, that's the name of the branch I'm working in, but we have other things we are involves it, I'll let you know more with time" he was so enthusiastic talking about his Job, but I was in shock, this waa were I was starting my New Job on Monday and that was gonna be a problem, he waa my Boss my fucking employer.

Shit shit shit!!!

" hey Nene, are you listening to me, you looked like you zoned out as I was talking" he asked worried

" You're my boss" I blurted out

" Whatt" he asked looking confused.
