Chapter Thirty Seven

**The Next Morning** 

My alarm went off and I groaned. I didn’t want to wake up yet, it was too early. Pulling the duvet over my head, I tried to get back to sleep, but suddenly, the sheets were pulled off me and when I got up to scream at whoever it was, I was shocked to see Roman. 

‘What are you doing in my room!’. He smiled. 

‘Babe, you’re in MY bed. Come on, you gotta get up, You got a plane to catch’. I looked around the room and realised he was right. I had fallen asleep in Roman’s bed after we had sex last night.. And he didn’t wake me up? That is another thing that is different... I never spend the night. 

‘What time is it?’ I asked, stretching out. 

‘It's 6.30’ As soon as he said that, I started to panic! 

‘Shit!’. I jumped out of bed and started picking up my clothes and getting dressed. Roman just sat on the bed and watched, amused. ‘I can’t believe I forget to set my fucking alarm! I can’t believe I fell asleep! Jesus! The taxi is coming in half an hour and I haven’t had a shower or anything!’. He stood up and walked over to me, grabbing my shoulders. 

‘Relax. Chill. Are your bags packed?’ I nodded. ‘Ok, go and have a shower, you can use my hair dryer afterwards, You can do your make up in the taxi or on the plane, but you look beautiful without it’. I felt myself blush. ‘Ok?’ I nodded again. ‘Ok, Good, Go’. I thanked him and leaned up to give him a kiss before disappearing off into the bathroom.

Running up my garden and into the house, my friends were all sitting in the living room, waiting for me. As soon as I came in they got up and came over to me, instantly bombarding me with questions about where I had been, how they were worried about me etc etc, but I just told them everything was fine and hurried up the stairs to get my cases from my bedroom. 

Bringing it down, I put it with the others and went into the kitchen. 

‘Who wants coffee in the travel cups?’ I called out. Mum had a good idea to get some throw away cups instead of all using our own travel mugs. We would have to carry them around the airport whereas, with these, we can just bin them. 

Fucking genius idea! 

They all called out that they wanted one and I started making them all. 

Jones came into the room to help me. 

‘So, where did you get to last night you dirty stop out’. I shrugged. 

‘Nowhere, i went for an early morning walk’. He just gave me a ‘’seriously’’ look. ‘What?’ 

‘One, you don't go for walks, ever.’ ah, fuck, he was right. ‘..and two, I heard you go out last night, so, Again, where did you go?’ 

‘Ok, but you can’t tell anyone, promise?’ he nodded. ‘I’m sort of seeing someone’. 

‘I knew it!’. I rolled my eyes. ‘I promise not to tell’. I thanked him and poured the coffee, he added the milk and sugar and then we called the others in to get their drinks. Another couple of minutes passed and then I got a text message from the Taxi driver saying they were outside. 

All chatting excitedly, we grabbed our bangs and headed outside. I locked the front door behind me and we hurried down to the waiting cars. We had to order two, there were five of us plus all our bags, One taxi just wasn’t enough. 

Kayla and Lea went in one car with most of the bags and me, Abby and Jones went in the other with the rest… and off we go! 

As the taxi’s pulled away from the house, my phone went off, signalling a message, I took it out and read it quickly. It was of Roman; 

Have a good trip. I WILL miss you x

I couldn’t help but smile. I even got a kiss on the end of that text. That’s New...and I loved it.
