The expression on his handsome and well-defined face did not change a bit. With a determined and indifferent profile and a cold and powerful aura, he was in perfect harmony with his black off-road vehicle, displaying a momentum that seemed like he despised the whole world.

It was Damon, whom Yvonne had met 10 minutes ago.

He looked at the lighter in her hand and raised his eyebrows.

Looking in the direction of his gaze, Yvonne calmly put away the lighter and then expressed her sincere thanks. "Damon, thank you for saving me…Your bumper..."

She was about to say that she would pay for his loss before Damon spoke indifferently. "No need."

His voice was low-pitched and pleasant to hear, yet still exuded an invisible pressure.

With that, he rolled up the car window and drove off under the roaring sound of the engine.

Taking in a long breath, Yvonne also quickened her pace to run away from there in order to avoid any possible troubles.

On the way, she first checked the date and found out that it had been seven days since she had "died".

Only that she was a native of the Ning Kingdom before, but now she was in the Svaneti. "Was it the sea that had taken me to this strange country on the other side?"

Yvonne managed to restrain her mixed feelings in her heart and began to read the news.

She had been locked up by Mitchell for the past three years. Despite having a TV in her room, she still knew little about what had happened in this period.

As she finished the news bit by bit, she became increasingly clear about the current situation.

With a fairly mature operating mode, Atlantis Corporations did not get into any troubles even when the former President suddenly passed away.

It had been three years since Mitchell took over the company. What he did was follow the old development strategy plan, which was neither good nor bad, so to speak.

However, it was easy for Yvonne to predict that Mitchell must have switched out the personnel in the company in the past three years, and Atlantis should have fallen into his hands.

Atlantis engaged in a vast range of fields, but its core business still lay in science and technology—artificial intelligence in particular in recent years.

On the other hand, the Svaneti only started to focus on training of such aspects over last few years, so the foundation was not as solid as that of the Ning Kingdom. Even though Olympus owned by the House Brown had set foot in the industry and initiated the R&D of driverless cars, its technologies were yet two years behind those of Atlantis.

It seemed that her comrades from back then did not help anyone after she "died"!

Flames of hope were gradually burning in Yvonne's heart. At present, as the President of Atlantis, Mitchell could be regarded as a dictator in the business world of the Ushguli.

But the House Brown was also a god-like existence in the Svaneti. So, what if she could join the Olympus and use it to compete against Mitchell?

What she wanted to do was not as simple as having Mitchell killed. In fact, she planned to expose the true colors of that brute and to get back at him a thousand times over for the pain he had inflicted on her and her loved ones!

Yvonne's mobile phone rang when she was about to enter the college. She looked down and found that it was from Miles York, Noelle's father.

On the call, Miles scolded her directly. "Noelle, have you left the House Brown?"

From the memory of Noelle, Yvonne knew that Noelle's mother and father had divorced a long time ago. Over these years, her father had never given face to Noelle, but Noelle had been obedient to him all the time, probably because she had been longing for his recognition.

Now, her father called her shortly after she left the House Brown. Apparently, he had known that she did not successfully "connect with" the House Brown!

"Yes," she answered dryly.

Miles immediately flared up. "Why didn't you use the wine I gave you? How could you miss such a good opportunity?"

His words chilled Yvonne to the bone. "A father gave his own daughter a bottle of drugged wine and then sent her to the bed of some man. Did it ever cross his mind that his daughter would be called nothing else but low and cheap afterward?"

When hearing no response from his daughter, Miles blurted out, "If you can't marry into the House Brown, then wait and marry your second brother-in-law!"
