Being tall and straight and with handsome eyes and brows, Erick Brown looked a bit icy and tsundere, although his momentum was not as strong as that of Damon Brown.

"Umm, why did Noelle fall for a person like him? She even frequently skipped classes and neglected her studies in order to meet him." Yvonne signed inwardly.

Without sitting down, Erick fixated his cold and gloomy gaze on Yvonne and asked, "What do you want?"

Yvonne pointed at the seat opposite her and gave him a wink. "Brother Erick, you are too handsome. If you keep standing here like this, I'm afraid you will attract many people's attention. I don't think you want others to overhear what we're about to say, do you?"

But Yvonne maintained her composure and went on, "Brother Erick, I've set up a mini program; the minute my Sunday wish isn't fulfilled, this piece of news will be immediately released to the news system of Svaneti, even the whole world. Shall we try it out?"

Suddenly raising his hand, Erick grabbed Yvonne's wrist so hard that it might have broken.

He increasingly tightened his grip, but she remained silent, just looking at him in the eyes.

At the sight of the firmness in her eyes, Erick could not help feeling a fit of fury. He shook off her hand in disgust and took a napkin to wipe the area he had used to touch her, his anger unabated.

Still, after seeing a psychologist for two weeks, nothing had changed.

As her pain was slowly relieved, Yvonne lifted her eyesight and stared at Erick while speaking to him in a very serious tone. "Erick, to tell you the truth, I don't love you. I don't need anything from you either. But I must do this. I've been frank with you today, I need to be your girlfriend, for a year, I hope. After one year, I'll never pester you again, nor will I tell anyone about your illness! Plus, I can pay you back with something you would surely need in return!"

Erick totally disregarded the "return" Yvonne spoke about and felt from the bottom of his heart that it was so funny that this woman made such a promise.

But, it was actually because he was paying his attention to somewhere else.

He asked with a squint, "How did you find out?"
