Chap 7

Meanwhile at Clara's house

.

Clara took a photo frame and held tight to her heart.

" Edward I am sorry that I failed to keep your promise. I am sorry I let you down."

She held the photo frame tight and began to cry. Tears began to flow from her eyes.

She began to think about the past memories where they both were holding hands and smiling at each other. The sunshine embraced them while they were walking through the passage.

They are seen helding hands as they walk through the Karnak Temple which is a famous tourist place.

Suddenly he kneeled down and propose to her by opening a box containing a diamond ring on it.

" Clara will you marry me." The proposal was to touching that the other visitors also gave them aloud applause.

Clara was in so much happiness that she couldn't control herself. She immediately jumped out in excitement that she was crying in the happy moment.

"Yes ... Yes.. An infinite yes.." Atlast she said "yes " which lead crowd to make more applause for them.

Soon the scene changed to the meeting of three person. One is Clara others are Edward and his nephew.

" Clara this is my nephew Amy . Amy this is my girlfriend and my finance Clara."

" Haloo Amy it's a nice meeting you."Clara smiled at her and give her handshake.

" Yeah nice to meet you too sis Clara." Amy also gave her a return handshake.

Edward is Amy's late uncle . Clara and Edward was boyfriend girlfriend leading to the engagement to become fiances.

They all are seen smiling at each other happily . But the happiness didn't last long.

But suddenly the scene get changed to the time when she hears Edward is dead .

Before he was going to die he made a call to her and said something as.

"Please take care of my Amy and I.... am sorry Clara....."

The call got cut and we could see Clara in shock and tried call the number thrice but it showed switch off . Next day she got call from her subordinate that Edward has passed away.

It was such a shock that she fell unconscious on the floor.

This memory was to much for her to bear but she still get hold of herself for Amys sake. Since it was the only thing that he left for her.

She wipes off her tears ." I will make Amy safe no matter what. I can't afford to lose her too." 

She puts the photo frame her desk and switched off the lights in her room .

Cairo police station.

James was sitting on a chair in his office facing towards the computer monitor by putting one hand at the mouse controlling it. He was checking the interrogation video again and again.

"Chief do you think that Amy girl is somewhat weird?" 

He turns around to face his subordinate since it a moving chair though.

He narrowed his eyebrow.

"What made you think like that?"

" Her hand was shivering during the whole interrogation process and moreover she was only answering to the question we asked not any single word further, as if she didn't want to break out any other words further."

James takes a long sigh and pinch the space between his eyebrows.

"You have a point. I had noticed it the moment she entered the room. I was watching her all second. Even if she have anything to do with this case still we don't have any evidence. Even to interrogate her once more that jerk is prohibiting us."

The manager was mostly prohibiting them to do another interrogation . He was certainly nagging them while they were interrogating amy as if she will reveal something if they ask further.

"Yeah .The manger is also to creepy . He even didn't allow us look through more and about the second time he just made it impossible for us investigate." Tom was already pissed off by the managers attitude. 

James put his hand on his chin. Then took a pen from his drawer and taps it sidewise continously.

"You are right, the manger has something to do with this case too.since there are only two suspects it would be more easy. "

" I think Amy has some sort of connection with this case and that manager , he probably want us not to reveal that." James gave a cold atmosphere that even Tom was having a chilling feeling.

"Chief then where will we start our investigation first."

James stops the tapping.

"let's find about the identity of the bodies first then, meanwhile match the finger prints we gathered from the tomb and bodies with the staffs finger prints we collected. Also throughly check this Amy's and that managers backward information."

"Yes sir".Tom nodded obediently , then left the office .

Cairo museum.

The manager locked his office door and takes his cellphone from the pant pocket. He immediately dials a number and wipes off the sweat in his forhead by using a tissue near by. The call gets connected and a voice is heard from the cellphone.

"Heloo."

"Sir !!!our plan has failed even though we were able to open the tomb successfully."

There was voice coming from the other side of the call.

"You good for nothing!! Why can't you do a job properly?"

"Am sorry sir !!"

"Do you know how much we are going to lose now?All because of your stupid plan!!Those moron couldn't even handle a simple task and got themselves killed!!!"

"I know sir,I apologise greatly. But sir they were able to open the tomb but after that,what happened it's still not found and that police guy james is still suspicious of me."

"Mmm. "

"Boss I forgot to tell you there is one more thing . Based on the plan ,I had them kidnap a girl capable of opening the tomb. So she must be the only clue we have left since she is alive now."

"Really.Then make her tell us yesterdays incident either by hook or crook get the lost Mummys detail".

"Yes sir and if possible please deal with the James guy ,he is such a headach. And don't forget about my shares sir ."

"I will think about it once you get the Mummy and I will take care of the James guy .Now you go and find that girl now!!!."

"Yes sir don't worry about it. I will bring you the good news next time I call you. Bye sir."

"Mmm..."

The call gets cut and he sit down at the chair .He takes a deep sigh.

"Cheh.Think about huh!!!who do you think you are!! Bastard!!!"

He smirks."I must take all the risk and you get all the money.cheh!!Just wait and see once I get the Mummy then I will deal with you.As***le."

"Amy Amy Amy !!!You are still useful, What a Lucky bitch. Just once I get the Mummy I will deal with you just like your uncle. "he murmured and smiles creepily showing his evil agenta.

Blue wave apartment.

"Tut come let's eat ".

"Am coming ."

They both sat on the table and starts to eat their food. Amy was curious about his past eventhough she was not, at the first time she met him. She could'nt hold her curiosity so she asked him directly.

"Tut ".

"Mm".

"How you become alive since you were dead anyway."

"It's a little complicated and for that you should know my past first ,then you will be able understand it."

"Okay. So you said your name is tutankhamun isn't ?"

"Yes .king tutankhamun!!!"

"Mmm. I think I have heard this name before.....Ah you were the one who died in your young age .The mysterious death man. Am I right??"

Her eyes become sparkling with curiosity, since childhood she wanted to learn the truth behind his death .Since it was a mystery though.

She heard it once when her parents were researching on it but after her parents death she forgot about it.

"Mmm."

"I was always curious about your death since childhood. I really want to know how you died ."

"You want to know ".

She nodded with innocent face .

"I can ,but on some conditions".

"What conditions?"

"If you agree then I can tell you my full story."

"I can agree ,if it doesn't have any dirty motive and also which I can do".

He smiles at her with sinister face.

At that point she understood she do not need to be that fast since he didn't said that conditions anyway. 

Her forehead began to sweat hard.

Cairo museum.

Sunlight fall through the window to Clara's face making her look more stunning. The birds chirping made the environment amazing. 

While clara's was sitting in a chair on her office checking some documents,

suddenly some knock came from the door .She notices it and gave permission to that person who was knocking on the door .

"Yes coming."

A blond girl with tightened dress showing cleavage and wearing high heals comes in. She was overly makeuped which was against office rules .Her name is Julie an intern in the care of clara ,because she had a strong backup no one  has ever complained her.She was just an intern but still had an arrogances as if she holds the museum in her hand.  

once there was an incident in which a girl complained her .But infact the girl got fired .The manger was hooked up by her that noone ever tried to complain her from that incident onwards .since then everyone tried to get into her good books except for Clara and Amy.But still she was afraid of one person that was Clara who hold a strong base in the museum.

She moves to the chair opposite to Clara .

"Hey sister ."

Clara was annoyed by her presence in the early morning ,she was fedup by this manipulative bitch. Because of this bitch a talented person was suppressed down who hold a great future. Thats why Clara hates her eventhough personal grudge can't be granted so she don't get involved with her more.

"What do you want julie ?"

Clara narrowed her eyebrows in fury . The disgusting feeling was controlled for now .

She gave her a cold shoulder as if she as a person never existed.

"Why are you always favoring Amy .why can't you see my talent also."

Even though Julie hates Clara but still she can't do nothing , because she holds a great power in the museum that even the manger hold her highly. One wrong move and she could also be the person who gets fired first. Clara was not someone whom she must make as a enemy.

Clara holds a high position in the museum and in archeology department since she part of the members who made the museum name highly .So the manger can't fire her that easily,it will be a huge mistake. For even firing her he need to discuss with higher authority as well as it will take almost 2 or more years to even approve of it or can be cancelled. The manager didn't want to piss of Clara was because one complain from her could even make him fired at the sport. Since they can get any manger but can't get a talented archeologist as Clara . It was rare to find one.

Julie always hated Amy because Clara always choose amy avoiding Julie. Amy was a talented person holding bright future like her parents and has a favor of Clara so manager doesn't fire her .But she gaves her a hard time sometimes which will be avoided by clara and could even backfire at her . 

Manager knows the relationship between Amy and clara that was why he didn't gave amy any hardship or got involved with their fight. But manager always saves Julie since she was his secret mistress. That everyone in the office knows. 

"Look julie who ever I favour is my choice and this has nothing to do with you. I favour who ever are hard working , talented and who holds a bright future ahead.Unlike some who only know to manipulate others for there on uterior motives."

Julie greeted her teeth furiously but didn't show that on her face .clara was clearing stabbing her with words that she was not talented or hardworking.She just smiled and stood up from the chair.

"Well then."

She left the office slamming the door.Clara took a sigh glancing at the door.

Julie stood in the hall way facing her office door."what a bitch .She is clearly saying am not talented and hard-working.Its all because of that bitch amy. Amy!!!"

" What does she have to even make my mengu couldn't touch her hair."

"Just wait till I get something to destroy you completely.Let's see then, who will be one laughing with proud .Hmph!!"

She smirks and leaves the hallway boiling with anger. She doomed reached the manager cabin. This time she didn't knock on the door instead she opened it as if it was her own.

When she opened the door , the manager gave a glance at her to check whether it was Julie or not otherwise he would scold others who would open the door without knocking. After seeing him Julie rushed towards lap to sit and cuddle upon him by making a sad face . She poured some tears to get sympathy.

" Mengu......huhu!!" She put her head on his chest moaning in sorrow. Her voice was too distraction that he put his work aside to comfort her eventhough he was annoyed by her presence in the middle of the work but he can't put her aside since she was his comfort after work.

" What happened baby ? Why are you crying? Did someone bully you again?" He grabbed her chin up smoothly and swiped off her tears .

" I don't like that Clara and Amy . She always give Amy more priority than me." As she said she began to moan on her hurt. 

" Baby try to be in Clara's good book. Don't recklessly offend her."  The manger was caught in the middle of the sea again . He just make Clara his enemy because of her power nor he can hurt his baby's feeling.

" You always say like that and can't even do something about her. Even if I tried to do something to gain her attention then that Amy comes interrupting me. She always gets the center of attraction. What can I do." She was boiling with rage after the managers  lack of support. Yes what could she even do well what ever she do all goes wrong and when she wants to be the lime light it will go towards Amy who don't even know how to use that opportunity.

" Honey don't worry about Amy I will deal with her not now but yes soon." He gave a evil smile that gave even Julie a chilling feeling. Her forhead began to sweat even the thought amys death.Yes how can she not feel frightened , she have grudge towards Amy but that doesn't mean she want to kill her or something. 

" What are you going to baby?" She asked in a frightening voice that made even the manager to get stunned by what he said now. He made it careful to spill what it should be .

" Nothing baby . I am just clearing your way now so don't worry baby." He gave a pleasant smile that made herhheerere
