ALIS P.O.V

"All right! We got about 7 boxes full with books and clothes." I said standing up with a smile.

Dina stood up from the ground and gave me hug and said "Thanks Ali. Do you want to stay for dinner?"

I checked the time on my watch and saw that it was 6:30. I still need to shower and get ready. I turned to Dina and said "I would love to, but I cant. I have somewhere to go tonight."

Dina frowned and said "Alright..."

I looked at her and then pinched her checks and said "How about tomorrow, maybe you, Dillion and I can go out for some ice-cream after school?"

"YEAH!" Dina said enthusiastically.

I chuckled then grabbed Dinas hand and walked back down to see Dillion in the kitchen making dinner.

"Hey, Dillion. We got about 7 boxes filled with clothes and books. I'll come by tomorrow to help you guys with the rest." I said with a smile.

Dillion hugged me and said "Thanks Ali. I'll see you tomorrow."

I nodded my head and said "Yup and tomorrow You, Me and Dina are going out for ice-cream."

Dillion raised his eyebrow and said "Who's idea was that?"

"Mine." I said

"Okay. But after Dina gets her homework done when she comes back from school." Dillion said with a firm tone facing Dina.

Dina nodded her head and said "Okay." then turned to me and said "Bye Ali! I'll see you tomorrow."

I nodded my head and then said goodbye to both Dillion and Dina then walked out the door. I caught a cab straight to my apartment and went straight to my closet to pick out the outfit I'm going to wear tonight.

I looked in my closet and thank God I found the perfect dress. I picked a round neck lace splicing sleeveless cream colored dress that would show off my curves in all the right places.

Its perfect!

I let out a squeal and quickly rushed to go and take a quick shower. As soon as I stepped out of the shower I dried my hair. Once I was satisfied with how dry it was I straightened my hair and rushed back to my room to put on my dress. Then I walked back to the bathroom to put on my mascara and nude lipstick. I don't really like putting too much makeup on because then I'll end up looking like a caked up barbie.

I was in kindergarden, when I first discovered what a lipstick was. My mom had a couple of lipsticks in her makeup drawer. I remember seeing her put it on her face and assumed it was some kind of paint. So the next day in school I brought my moms lipsticks to school with me and told my friends that it was the kind of paint you use for your face. So during art time, we started painting each others faces with lipsticks. After we finished 'painting' our faces we got in trouble from our kindergarten teacher and an explanation of what a lipstick is used for. I remember when I got home, I got an earful when my mother found out what I did with her lipsticks.

My father thought it was cute when I played with my mothers lipsticks. What he didn't think was cute is when I used his expensive cologne to make our dog Spot smell better after I gave him a bath.

I chuckled and shook my head. Those where some good times...

I took a quick look in the mirror to make sure I looked okay. Then I walked out of my bathroom and quickly put on my cream peep toe heels. I grabbed my small cream colored clutch to match my dress and heels. I heard a knock on the door and immediately knew it was Mark.

Oh God please don't let me make a fool out of myself.

I took a deep breath and opened the door and found a very handsome Mark with a bouquets of flowers in his hand.

He looks so handsome in his Trim Fit Navy Wool Suit. He looked at me and gave a charming smile. I stepped aside so that he could come in. He came in and gave me the bouquet of flowers he was holding in his hand.

"You look beautiful." said Mark with a smile.

"Are you sure? Do I really look okay? Is this too much? Do you think your family will kick me out before I'm even able to step through the front door? Oh my gosh, what If they do? Are you sure Its okay for me to go.? What if—?" I kept rambling off and stopped when Mark gently grabbed my hand.

"Yes Im sure. Of course you look beautiful. No this isn't too much. I know for a fact, my family would never kick you out before you even step through the front door and Its absolutely okay for you to come." said Mark chuckling and giving me a warm smile.

I nodded my head and smiled back.

"Thanks. Let me put the flowers in a vase first before we leave. You can wait in the living room." I said to Mark.

He nodded his head and sat on a chair in my living room. Once I found a vase to put the flowers in and added some water inside the vase, I went to the living room to let Mark know that Im ready to go.

Mark looked at me and said "Are you ready?"

I chuckled softly and said "Yeah."

"Good and don't worry. I'll be right with you." said Mark grabbing my hand and leading me out the door.

"Thanks." I replied.

We walked to the parking lot and Mark walked to a red mustang.

If he has this why'd he catch a cab this morning?

Mark walked to the passenger side and held the door opened for me and closed it as soon as I sat on the passenger seat. When Mark came sat on the drivers seat, he started up the car and drove out of the parking lot. I turned to Mark and said "Mark who's car is this?"

He chuckled and said "Mine."

"If this is yours, then why did you catch a cab this morning to work, when you could have taken your car instead?" I asked Mark.

"I let my cousin borrow it today." said Mark.

"Oh...that was nice of you." I said with a smile.

"So how was your first day of work?" asked Mark.

"It was...unforgettable." I replied.

"Unforgettable? How?" Mark asked taking a quick glance at me turned to face the road again.

"Lets just say....my whole day at work has been quite a show." I said vaguely.

Does that even make sense!?

Mark chuckled and said "Well, I wish I could have seen this show."

Im glad you didn't.

As soon as we arrived at the house, mark parked the car and opened the passenger door for me. I stepped out and saw a huge three story pillared mansion. It was amazing. It looked like it came right out of a magazine. There was not one but two grand terraces. I can only wonder what it looked like from the inside.

Mark grabbed my hand and led me to the front door. Before he could even open the door I stopped and turned to him and said "Are you sure it's okay that I came here with you?"

Mark gave me a warm smile and said "Yes Ali. So don't worry okay?"

He gave my hand a squeeze and opened the door. As soon as we walked in Mikey appeared around the corner and said "Mark! Finally you showed up! This party was for you. Dammit Mark! You should have seen grandma." Mikey chuckled and said "She's putting up a fit because you weren't here on time. Mom's mad too because she's the one that has to calm grandma down. Thats why she always tells everyone to be on time."

What is Mikey doing here!?

"Relax Mikey. Grandmas just being dramatic again. Besides it's only" Mark checked his watch then rolled his eyes and said "8:01. Im pretty sure grandma cant be that mad."

Mikey shrugged his shoulders, then raised his eyebrows and said "If you don't believe me, then go and find her."

"I will. Besides, once grandma sees my date, she'll forget this whole 'being late' thing." Mark said with a smile.

"Date? Where is she?" said Mikey looking confused.

Mark pulled me to his side then smiled and said "Here she is."

Mikey looked at me then chuckled and said "Ali? I told you we would be seeing each other soon."

I grinned at Mikey and said "Hello...Care bear."

Mark laughed and said "Is your mom still calling you that?"

Mikey scowled at me then turned to Mark and said "Sadly yes. Now lets go to the living room and let everyone know your here." Then he turned to me and said "Ali, I have to talk to Mark about something...can you go to the kitchen and grab me a glass of champagne please?"

I narrowed my eyes at Mikey then said with a grin "Okay care bear."

Mikey glared at me and then pointed to his left and said "Just walk straight down this way and you'll see the kitchen on your left."

I nodded my head and did what he told me. When I got to the kitchen I looked around and didn't see anyone. I saw a couple of glasses with champagne and grabbed one. As I was walking out of the kitchen I accidentally walked straight into a wall or at least it felt like a wall and spilled the champagne on my dress.

I looked at my dress and groaned .

I just got here!

"Dammit what is wrong with you woman!?" said a familiar deep voice.

I looked up and saw...Matthew!?

"Matthew?"

"Ali?" said Matthew at the same time I spoke.

"What are you doing here?" Matthew and I asked each other at the same time.

Matthew rolled his eyes and said "Im here for Mikeys cousins party. What are you doing here?"

"Im here with Mark. This is the 'Welcome Home' party his family's throwing for him." I replied.

"Well Isn't that fantastic." said Matthew sarcastically.

I glared at Matthew and stuck my tongue out at him then walked back in the kitchen to go wash my hands and hopefully save my dress.

I doubt that will happen.

Matthew glared at me then followed me into the kitchen and said "Ali you're a twenty-one year old woman, stop acting like a child. Also next time watch where you're going!" Then he pointed to his suit and said

" Look what you did to my suit!"

"What!? That wasn't my fault. You should have watched where you were going!" I replied in an angry tone.

"Ali you need to learn when to admit you're wrong." said Matthew walking closer to me.

I took a step back and said "No, I don't because Im not wrong you are."

Matthew took another step forward and said "No I'm not."

"Yes you are." I said taking another step back.

Matthew took one more step forward that immediately made me take one step back causing my back to hit the fridge.

Matthew looked me in the eye and and took one more step forward causing our chests to touch. He used one hand to grab both my hands and held them above my head and used the other to gently hold my chin to face him. We were so close, that I could practically smell his cologne.  All I want to do right now is kiss the—

Wait! What am I saying!? He's my boss. Stop this Ali! You naughty girl!

I shook my head and tried to push him away but he was too strong to me.

Then again...I would be lying if I said I wasn't turned on.

Matthew looked into my eyes and whispered in my ear "Ali...the only thing I'll admit... is tha—"

"Ali whats taking you so long?" said Mikey walking into the kitchen.

Matthew jumped back and said to me in a friendly tone "So thats why we use copy machines in the office. I hoped you learned something new." Then walked out of the kitchen without looking back.

What the hell was that!?
