María's pov-

I slid my back down the wall, my knees collapsing beneath me, My tears uncontrollably streaming down my face.

Lucien was so angry, He looked so disgusted in me and I never wish to see him look at me in such a way.

What have I done? STUPID! STUPID! Marìa.

Those women were right. I am just a whore. I am weak just like they had presumed.

I Sat on the floor, my head in my hands and cried for what seemed like hours until My heavy sobs turned into a whimper.

After a while I heard the door click open.

I whipped my head up in hopes that Lucien had come back, He's probably still mad.

No he will definitely still be mad.

With my eyes still blurry from all my crying a figure approached me.

"María?" I knew that voice all too well as my brother Diego.

"Come here Angel" He spoke, his voice was so gentle.

Diego crouched down and pulled me into his chest tightly wrapping his arms around me. His thumbs rubbing circles into my back in comfort as he hushed me soothingly.

I clung to his chest, crying into his shirt.

I cried for the shame I felt, The embarrassment that I felt from my own actions.

I cried for the way Lucien had looked at me. With disgust, with hate.

I cried until I possibly couldn't no more.

I lifted my head up to look up at Diego.

He wiped my tear streaked face with the palms of his hands sending me a sympathetic smile.

"L-Lucien" I stuttered, unable to form the words with my croaky voice.

"I know" Diego cut me off with a knowing look across his face, the sympathetic look not wavering.

I didn't want sympathy, I didn't deserve it after the way I had acted today.

I took a deep breath before slowly releasing it trying to gain some control of the quivering mess I have become.

"I messed up so bad" I paused "He-he hates me" I let out, My voice breaking at my own words.

My eyes once again filled with unshed tears.

"Hey, hey don't start that again" Diego demanded softly as he brought his hand up to my face brushing my hair back with his fingers.

"I just came from my work out in the gym" He announced looking down at me.

His green eyes Directly looking into mine as if searching mine for something, As if trying to figure out if he should say what he was about to say.

He did anyway.

"Lucien was there, He's been pounding that punching bag for two hours. He's pretty mad, He cares for you Angel, You know that right?" Diego informed me gently.

"He will come around María just give him time to cool off," He said.

I nodded my head slowly in response, darting my eyes down to my lap, Looking at nothing in particular.

"Are you not mad at me?" I questioned.

Diego chuckled softly, shaking his head in no motion.

"You're a big girl María, You can do as you please. Besides I thought that shit you did was pretty gangsta" He laughed that contagious laugh of his, effectively sparking a small laugh to pass my lips.

It became silent for a moment.

Before His expression turned serious

"You know, You don't have to fight battles alone. I'm here for you Angel. We all are including Lucien" He told me wholeheartedly.

"How did you even get yourself in?" he paused "In to, You know your office situation" He asked with all seriousness on his face.

I sighed, of course the guys don't know and can't see how hard it is to be their sister.

How hard it is to be the only woman to have everyone's attention because I'm the family of their boss.

"I just snapped. I was fed up I guess. People think I'm weak Diego so they don't care how their words affect me" I let out.

"I take it James is one of these people"He questioned, His Jaw ticking at the thought.

I tilted my head to the side "No, I guess he just got caught in the middle of my revenge against his girlfriend" I told him honestly.

I lowered my head to my hands. I really am ashamed of myself.

Diego laughed in amusement.

Why is he laughing? This situation really isn't funny though.

I raised my head back up.

"Is Lorenzo mad at me?" I was not certain if I wanted to know the answer or not.

Diego shrugged his shoulders at my question "I'm Not sure if Lucien has told him yet. If he is mad he will get over it María. You need not worry he and Marcel had some business to attend to so he won't be home for a few days" Diego clarified.

I nodded my head vaguely remembering Lorenzo mentioning that he would be out of town tonight.

"Come, let's get you some food. You've had a rough day. How do you feel about hanging out with your big brother for the night" Diego asked grinning down at me.

A smile broke out upon my lips.

I love spending time with Diego, it's been a while since the last time we hung out. He's been all too busy with the business lately.

"How about Netflix?" I said as I began to stand to my feet.

"Sounds good. Just please not that vampire diaries, I can't watch anymore of that girly shit" He begged cringing at the thought.

"Fine," I reluctantly agreed, pouting at him for dissing one of my favourite shows.

We headed to the kitchen, Diego made me a lasagna.

Well he technically didn't make it he only reheated the leftovers from what the chefs had made for dinner last night.

After we ate we headed upstairs to the living room on our floor. Our floor consists of our individual bedrooms, A kitchen and living room.

I was thankful that no one was allowed on this floor with the exception of me and the four guys.

I didn't want to be around people right now, I couldn't muster up the ability to fake a smile.

I say myself on the sofa, my head resting against the arm.

Diego put Netflix on flicking through the tv shows.

After a ten minute debate about watching the originals I obviously lost but we finally came to a mutual agreement on watching Dexter.

I relaxed into the sofa, Diego covering me with a blanket and Shortly after I had drifted off into a deep sleep.

I woke up to the sound of a door slamming and the lights being turned on.

I blinked my eyes rapidly in an attempt at adjusting to the sudden light.

Feeling a soft pillow and sheets beneath me I quickly realised I was now in my room. Diego must have carried me through to my room after I had fallen asleep.

I sat up rubbing my eyes confused as to why I awoke so abruptly.

My thoughts halted as soon as my eyes landed on Lucien standing by the door.

I quickly Rushed to apologise to him for my actions that he had witnessed earlier

"Lucien I-i" I stopped myself short when I noticed the look he shot at me.

His hair was a mess like he had been running his fingers through it non stop.

Lucien's Jaw clenched as His fists balled, clenching and unclenched by his sides. His knuckles were bruised a dark purple colour. Confirming Diego Statement from earlier, I guess he really did spend two hours punching a punch bag.

I Looked into his eyes.

He was not just angry.

He looked sad, Broken.

I felt bad was I the cause for his hurt?

I Silently cursed myself out for being the cause of the reason that he was like this.

My eyes caught a glimpse of something shining in his left hand.

It looked like a choker but bigger a collar maybe? Why would Lucien need that? I furrowed my eyebrows In confusion at what he was holding, why would he have that?

Standing to my feet I climbed off of the bed.

I didn't dare move closer to him with the anger that was radiating off of him.

I for sure didn't want a repeat of earlier.

"Lucien what are you doing? And what the heck is that thing" I questioned.

My voice came out quieter than I had expected, Pointing my fingers towards his left hand which held the unknown object in.

Lucien slowly made his way towards me.

I gulped. The look he shot me was intimidating. With each one of his strides I felt more and more overwhelmed by the nervous wreck that I had become.

"I Promised you princess. No one will dare touch you now" He Let out through gritted teeth.

"Lucien I'm-I'm sorry." I stuttered for the tenth time today.

Lucien clenched his jaw tightly.

The look upon His face made me cower back, but I finished my apology anyway.

"I'm sorry you had to see that" I apologised shakily.

I backed up on to the bed the closer he got And before I knew it he was taking his last stride in front of me.

His tall built body towering over me.

Grabbing me roughly by the nape of my neck and Forcing me up so that I was now Sat on my knees.

I held his arm with both my hands afraid of his next actions

"Lucien, what are you doing? You're scaring me" I confessed my voice barely a whimpering whisper.

I got nothing from him, he didn't say a single word.

His eyes bore into mine as he lifted his left hand, The hand that held what looked to be a collar.

My eyes darted to the shiny object.

It was gold with Lucien scripted in silver.

Why would he need that? I'm freaking out at how little of a response he has given me since arriving in my room.

"Lucien why do you have that thing?" I questioned, unsure of why he would have that and why he was looking at me in such a way.

"It's for you to wear María" He replied his voice was husky and didn't falter in the slightest.

He has to be joking right? I can't wear that but The look on his face told me he was nothing but deadly serious.

Why would he want me to wear that? It's bulky and not at all something I would wear as a piece of jewellery.

My eyes went wide with realisation.

He wanted me to wear that thing as some kind of claim?

I shook my head rapidly.

"No!" I freaked out screaming at the top of my lungs, Screaming Diego's name and hoping someone could hear me before he could force me to wear that thing.

"NO, NO LUCIEN" I denied as I began punching at his chest trying to push him away from me.

My attempts failed as he pushed me down to the mattress trying to position me so that he could place the damn collar around my neck.

"LUCIEN STOP. STOP. PLEASE. STOP!" I cried, tears pouring from my eyes.

He forced me back down onto the bed my back pushed into the mattress below me as he climbed on top of me.

Holding me down and pinning me in place with his legs on both sides of my waist.

I struggled to push him off of me unable to move my lower body with all his weight weighing down on me.

I felt the cold collar go around my neck.

My screams frantically rise in volume. As I struggled and struggled to get away from him.

I heard a click.

The blood instantly drained from my face. I wasn't able to stop him. I couldn't stop him.

My body went limp. I was too weak to stop his insane claim.

My door flew open almost ripping off of its hinges as Diego barged his way in

"WTF ARE YOU DOING" he blew up, Narrowing his eyes at his closest friend.

Lucien climbed off of me not saying a word. His chest rising and falling heavily with his silence.

I Sat up on the bed, tears streaming down my cheeks. I brought hands to my neck shakily as I felt the cold metal of the collar that was now secured tightly around my neck.

Diego's eyes followed the movements of my hands.

By The look on his face he had just now noticed what was going on.

"YOU SON OF A FUCKING BITCH" He roared "GET THAT SHIT TO FUCK OFF MY BABY SISTER" Diego SPAT his anger all to visible.

I have never heard Diego raise his voice to Lucien before, They never fight. Like ever.

"SHE'S NOT A FUCKING DOG REMOVE IT NOW" He demanded angrily.

To my surprise Lucien didn't even raise his voice and didn't even seem fazed at the obvious fuming state of his best friend, of my brother.

"I told you she's mine, No one would ever dare touch her with my name visible to their eyes." His voice was extremely calm and daring even.

I was right, the collar was a claim.

With these words Lucien didn't even so much as look at me before he left the room calmly.

Diego just stood there frozen with his mouth wide open agape.

He looked like he was in shock.

I couldn't blame him, I was too.

I jumped to my feet and off of the bed running over to the floor length mirror by my door.

I looked at my reflection, taking in every detail of the disgusting collar.

If it wasn't for the fact this was a claim and was bulky with Lucien's name written on it. It probably would actually be a beautiful piece of jewellery for a special occasion, something fancy.

It was gold with Lucien scripted in silver. With a diamond to dot the I in Lucien, it looked expensive.

Made with gold and real diamonds.

Bulky but not overly large.

It was visible enough though and very clear what it's purpose was.

This is crazy! like really this was ridiculous. What is wrong with him? How could he do this to me?.

I Screamed. I screamed as loud as I possibly could as I tried to pull it from around my neck with all the strength I could manage.

My efforts failed. I failed miserably.

I gave in falling to the floor not being able to stop my uncontrollable tears.

"I'll talk to him Angel, Everything will be OK. I'll sort this I promise" Diego spoke up as he bent down placing a kiss to my head before leaving the room.

Leaving me all alone in this lonely room drowning in my own emotions.

I thought Lucien cared for me? If that was true how could he do this to me?

I Tried once again to pry this thing from around my neck.

I screamed and cried for what I could only imagine was hours before I finally let sleep consume my exhausted mind and body.
