chapter 14

SAI's POV 

I am sitting alone right now on the huge sofa while watching them having fun in the pool. I did not join them now since I took swimming earlier. I feel cold right now as well. 

I check the time on my phone. It's already 10 PM. 

I get a cocktail to drink. I'm a little bit thirsty. My eyes landed on them while I am drinking. I am looking for Mikael but I cannot find him. 

Hmm. Where might is he?

Jeez. I didn't know that he's friends with Terrence.

My gosh! My body was shaking earlier when I saw him and I was right in his house.

Does he still remember me??

"Hi," 

I was startled when someone spoke beside me. 

"Sorry. Did I startle you?" He chuckling ask.

Oh my god!

My eyes widened and my heart beats faster when the guy who is sitting next to me is Mikael.

"Ah... No, it's okay." I replied, stuttering.

Oh my gosh!! Sai, please take a deep breath and relax!

But I cannot. It feels like I'm going to explode!

"By the way, I'm Mikael, and you are?" He asked, offering his right hand to me.

"Ah... I'm Sai." I smile at him, giving him my left hand, then we do handshake.

"Right. I remember you. If I am not mistaken, you were the girl I bumped into at the lobby, right?" He asked.

Gosh! He remembers me.

"Yes. It was me." I replied, smiling. 

"I was right, then." He smiled back at me.

I didn't speak. I guess no words can come out to my mouth so I just get another cocktail again and drink it. It's a bit rough in my throat but it tastes good. 

"So, let's go swimming?" He invited me as he places the glass of beer he was holding.

"Huh? Ahm, I'm..." I wasn't able to continue my sentence because he immediately holds my hand and pulls me out from sitting. Then, he brings me to the pool where all of his teammates are there. I saw Nichole having with Sean? I think that guy is Sean, and Herlien, on the other hand, she's with Alex. However, there is no sign of Rhea. Where did she go?

Mikael gets down into the water first before me.

"Come on," He offered his hand to me. I left no choice. Since they're are having then, I think I should join them too.

I gave my hand to Mikael and then he leads me to get down on the water.

ALEX's POV

I am with Herlien right now. Actually, I am sitting next to her on the pool's staircase. She suddenly came up out of the water so I went up too. Because I cannot find the timing to talk to her on the pool for the reason that they are playing volleyball.

Sitting next to her right now makes my heart melt. I don't know why. Just seeing her makes me happy. Perhaps, I have a crush on her? 

Yeah, looks like it. 

"Hey? Alex?"

I go back to my senses when she suddenly spoke, waving her hands in front of my face.

"H...Huh?"

"I've been talking to you, but you don't even listen. Hmm. Are you okay? What are you thinking about?"

"Ah? Ah... I'm sorry, I didn't hear from you. What is it again?" Damn, I didn't notice that she was talking to me. You're a jerk, Alex!

"Ahm, nothing. I forgot," she said, laughing a little.

Shit. You're really a fool, Alex. Why didn't you notice that she was talking to you? 

What if she confessed her feelings to you? 

I sigh out.

"Ah, it's her? Yeah, shed beautiful." She said that makes me wonder.

"What? Who?"

"That girl." She pointed her index finger on the other side of the pool. So, I look at there. 

I saw a girl. The girl she was pointing at.

"Well, you've been staring at her." She added.

What? Me? Staring that girl!?

Well, yeah I was looking at there but no way, I am not staring at that girl.

"You misunderstood. I am not staring at her." I said, and I look at her.

Bewildered travel her face.

"Don't fool me. I saw that you were staring at her intensely." She said, chuckling, then she looks away.

"You're wrong. Come on. To tell you, There is only one girl I want to look at right now."

"Huh? Who is she?" she looks at me.

I smile at her, then I look away. I can't stare at her longer because I feel like I'm melting. Damn. It sounds gay.

"Ah, well. I was done staring at her." I chuckle.

"What? You're weird." she laughed.

"By the way, why did you think I was looking at that girl?" I ask her. Just, I wanted to know.

"Ah, I just saw you looking at her direction.

"I see."

"Yes."

Wait a minute, is she jealous? 

I'm assuming again.

"Before I forgot anything else. What are you going to tell me? You didn't say it earlier because the bell suddenly rang. What is it?" I asked and I saw how surprised she is by that question. However, her facial expressions suddenly change.

"Huh? Nothing. I mean, that was not important anyway. Forget about that."

"But, can you..." I wasn't able to finish my sentence because she immediately stood up then she goes back to the water.

"Come on, let's swim again!" She yelled at me, smiling and she swam going to my teammates.

Forget about that? But I can't. I really wanted to know what that is.

Should I ask her the other day?

RHEA YNNE'S POV

I am currently here at Mikael's private pool, at the back of his house. I didn't know that his house is so huge as ours. But the difference only is that Mikael's house only has three stories, but ours has four and we also have four swimming pools. And the pool at the back of our house is my older brother Terrence's private pool. I and even Herlien are not allowed to go to his private pool. I don't know why. I dare to go to his private pool once but I didn't succeed because the gate was locked. He locked it, obviously.

Anyways, I am here with Gabe, my brother's friend. I just know now that he was friends with my brother. I haven't seen him also before, just only now.

After we eat our late dinner earlier, Marco invited us to go swimming but Gabe suddenly take me out of the and he brings me here. I don't have any idea why.

As I look at him now, he's a good looking guy. I didn't see his face clearly before because the lights were a bit dark.

But now, with the bright light, I can now clearly his face. As I have said, he's good looking.

He sat down on the pool's staircase without water, then he asked me to sat next to him and I did. And we both dipped our feet on the water. 

The pool is so beautiful because of the exchanging lights under the water.

"Gabe? Why did you bring me here?" I asked him, breaking the silence between us.

"It's too noisy outside." 

"Why? Don't you want to be with them?"

"It's not like that," he answered, then he suddenly takes off his shirt. My eyes immediately landed on his abs.

Oh my gosh! 

Oh my gosh! 

I am looking at his abs.

"Rhea?"

"Hmm?" I gulp hard, still looking at his abs.

In my whole life, I have never seen abs. Just only now, and...

"Rhea?"

"Huh?" I go back to my senses when he spoke again. Then, I immediately removed my eyes to his abs.

Gosh! Did he catch me staring at his abs?

No way. It's embarrassing. He might think that I'm a maniac.

"Do you want to touch it?" He asked and he suddenly took my hand but I pull it out quickly.

"No! What are you saying?" I suddenly yell. I'm shocked by what he said.

Gosh, I think I am blushing right now. I can feel the hotness in my face. My hands also are shivering.

Just then, he burst out in laughter.

"Sorry, I was just joking. But I noticed that you were staring at my abs."

"What!? No! I'm not staring at your abs." I lied, looking away.

Gosh, Gabe! You're crazy.

"Well, I won't mention it, unless, it was true," he said, grinning. 

I left speechless.
