chapter 8

Andrew POV

We have been on this plane for 3 hours and I have been bored out of my mind for about the same time. It is just not the same without Edward. I have always been my travel buddy but I guess I just have to cope without him. This will all work out for the best.

Emelia decided to stay behind with Grayson. So its only Derric, the moon goddess, and me on the flight to the fairy queen. I just hope our meeting goes well. 

"Derric I think we need to ask Brandon for help too. He has a big army and will love to help once he hears what we are planning to do and why."

"That is a great idea, Andrew. I will phone him and ask him to meet us at the werewolf castle. The last I heard he was in that area helping an Alpha train their warriors."

"That is actually lucky. Let us just get this first meeting behind us before we worry about the next."

We both fell silent again. I took out my laptop and start playing some call of duty. It always helps take my mind of the things that are bothering me. It also helps that I get to kill people.

I have been playing for quite some time when Derric came and tapped me on the shoulder. I took out my headphones and he signalled me that we have to get off the plane. We went straight to Queen Sarah's castle.

Once inside the guards ushered us into the dining area.

"Thank you so much for meeting us on such short notice. I know you are quite busy." Derric went straight to the point. I like that about him. He knows we don't have much time to get all of this together.

"It did sound urgent that is why I agreed. I will have them serve some food then we will get down to business."

Some of the queen's kitchen staff came in and brought us some vis with mashed potatoes and gene beans. The moon goddess decided to break the silence.

"I hope you know who I am. I am here because I want to get an army ready. I want to go to war with the vampire king. The royals have disrespected me for the last time. The princess was mated to Andrew here. The king decided that he will once again break up a couple."

The Queen looks like she is pondering the moon goddess's request.

"I know who you are. You should also know that you have placed me in a very difficult position. I do hate King Christiaan. Let me just fill in the blanks for the rest of the guests. You see King Christiaan was once mated to me. I was the one he rejected so this is a difficult decision for me. I hate him and his father with everything in me. I want to help though. I will send you warriors to help you with your mission. I would not be there. I will fly off the handles if I see my mate being killed. I also want you to kill the vampire queen. She is to blame for all of this."

The moon goddess stands up from her chair and went to kneel in front of the queen. 

"My child you are wrong. The vampire queen did not do anything. She was also just a pawn in the plan of the royals. Once she heard the king wanted her to marry Christiaan she ran away with her mate and got married to him. When her father found out he had her mate executed. She was devastated when it happened. she did not want to marry Christiaan"

"Are you serious? So I hated her all this time for nothing. We need to stop this cycle." The queen look so devastated. I guess she wanted someone to hate and didn't want to put the blame on her mate.

"That is what we are planning to do. The prince also found his mate. He wants to stop his father so the next king will be capable of stopping his father's rain of terror." I guess the Prince and princess are not as perfect as their father had hope they were. This just means that we have won half the battle.

"I will give you anything that you need. I just can't be there." 

"We understand Queen Sarah. Will it be okay if we spend the night here in your castle before we fly to the werewolf king tomorrow?" Derric asked the queen. He is always thinking ahead. I was actually wondering where we were going to sleep tonight.

"Stay as long as you need. I will get one of my employees to get 3 rooms ready for you. I will get someone to give you a tour of my lands then I will see you this evening for dinner."

10 minutes later we were all in our room to freshen up. Once I stepped out of the bathroom I see the queen's sister naked on my bed. I was shocked. I walked back into my room took a towel and tree it at her. I was fuming. I told her the night of the ball I was not interested but I guess she cant take the hint.

"What the hell?" She asked once the towel kit her face.

"Listen here, princess. I am not interested."

"Are you still hoping to find your mate? I can warm your bed until you find her." She asked flirtingly. She makes me sick.

"I already found her now get out of my room before I tell your sister about this."

I have never seen anyone run so fast in my life. If I wasn't mad I would have laughed at how funny it looked.

I let Derric know trough our mind link that I am going to take a nap before dinner. Then I lied down on the bed. Falling asleep almost instantly.

A few hours later Derric came to wake me up for dinner. I wasn't hungry but I didn't want to disrespect the queen after she told us that she would help us. I just sat through dinner as quiet as a mouse. I honestly hoped that Derric didn't notice.
