chapter 56

I turned 17 today and there was a small party organized at home, only family was invited. Many preparations were made in order to make my 17th birthday very special, numerous dishes were prepared, the maids were busy decorating the mansion hall with flowers

During the makeup session, I even came to know that  I came to know that a newly appointed maid was a professional makeup artist and she was hired only for me.this made me think that all of my housemates hated my face so much that they couldn't bear to see me all messy so they brought home someone that would make a human out of me once in a while. but that was all that my mind had made up the reality was something else.

While I was still looking into the mirror trying to recognize the person before me the maid I mean the makeup artist came in, Her name was Elan, she was a sweet woman in her early twenties, in a short while we became good friends as we talked about our interests as she dressed me up all over again due to some fault in the last dress.

"Oh my, you are very beautiful Stella ( I asked her to call me that), " she said with wide eyes stuck to my face.

"Yes, I hear that a lot from my brothers, so let's just continue because the party is at 3 pm and we have a hurry," I said while brushing out the compliment, I never liked people calling me beautiful as it felt like a false compliment to me.

After half an hour she was done with me so I just got up and stood in front of the long mirror to see what she had made me into. As I stood there I saw a really beautiful girl, she was pretty in every way her dark hair her face her black eyes, and those beautiful lips.

"Is it really me? I mean I do look into the mirror often but I don't think that girl is me, or did you put on a lot of makeup as I asked you not to do" I said while looking at Elan

"As I told you, you are beautiful, I just put as little makeup as possible," she said

" I really look good" still in a daze while looking at the mirror but a sudden knock on the door brought me back to present

"Miss are you ready? It's about time to come down." The maid said

"Ok I will be right there" as I walked to the door

While coming down the stairs I saw my brothers looking at me with wide-open eyes, so i walked with even more grace to make a great impression on them.

Just as I reached the last step Ed came and offered me a hand

" hoo hoo a gentleman? I see! Were you so much captivated by my beauty that you cannot resist approaching me, lover boy?" I teased him while taking his hand

" yes, I was captivated by your beauty until you opened that foul mouth of yours now I really regret approaching you" as he averted his eyes. From me and same as what the other two did

"Ok ok, I am sorry I just wanted to tease you. Now stand in line and give me my gifts. .....Chop chop hurry up hand them over to me, I am waiting" as I hung my hand in the air I said

"This is for you sis" Theo gave me a small box in which there was a cute hand made ring it was very beautiful so I just kissed Theo on the cheek as he became happy because I liked the gift

"I bought you a restaurant and even named it after you," Ed said with a huge grin on his face

"Really???" I asked

"Nope just, joking, Why would I give you something so expensive?" he said with a huff, he made me angry so I stomped on his feet and asked Al for what he had bought me.

" I have got you some of your favorite books they are in the library, "he said

"Wow thank you soooo much I really wanted them, I had run out of new stories" I hugged him tightly and this time he patted my head.

"Now I see! You are seriously gonna let your big bro wait for the hug huh?" Ed said in a disappointed manner.

"Here take it I bought it for you" he took off his locket and gave it to me, it was a timepiece pendant, the timepiece was small with black colored sand in it I had loved it ever since I first laid my eyes on it, it was their mother's so I didn't ask for it. Ever since I meet them Ed had it around his neck.

"Hey keep it I know how much you love it," At my rejection, his face turned sad and was about to turn around but that was what I was waiting for. I hugged him tightly, he hugged me back lightly and chuckled while whispering in my ear "Happy birthday my rotten apple"

The party ended soon because only the family was invited nobody else was there with us. And just when I thought everything was over Mr. Scarface told me  that I had to meet the gang officially because I was of age now,  I got a little nervous, but as I had prepared myself for this for a long time, I tried to recollect myself and asked him to when I had to meet them

" In an hour in the city hotel (I own that hotel)" he said

" I will get myself ready" I couldn't go meet the men in such fancy clothing but Scarface stopped me.

"Master not like this, you have to get prepared, but let Elan do it," he said while looking at Elan

Why her, I can do it myself" I said in a confused tone

"Master you will know in a while" as he sent me with Elan
