             CHAPTER 16

             🌺 ARIANA 🌺

I stood up from the bed looking at my hands again. I really have a lot to learn from myself, I should be more careful.

I felt my throat was very dry and I needed water badly. I walked out of the room for the very first time and I got to a very large and beautiful living room.

"Wow this is so amazing." I said to Balsuma who sat on the couch.

"Yes." He replied nodding.

I looked around and I saw the fridge at the corner of the living room. I walked up to it and opened it.

The fridge was stocked with different kind of goodies.

"Impressive." I mumbled taking a bottle of water from it.

"You don't have to go to the market, all things are available. I will ask for a maid to make the meals." He said as I gulped down the water.

"No, I don't want a maid. I can take care of myself." I said boldly walking to the second couch.

"I don't want to stress you." He said and I nodded.

"Have your forgotten I also have powers. I can take good care of myself." I said boastfully and he nodded smiling.

"Good." He said and I took another gulp of the water.

I stood up and walked to the transparent walls of the living room. I could see the outside from the inside.

I stood close to wall and I saw we were actually surrounded by bushes and big trees. 

"Are you on a hill or what?" I asked without looking back.

"Something like that." He replied and I heard sadness in his voice.

"Balsuma are you okay?" I asked turning to face him and I saw his head was bowed in sadness.

"I am okay." He said trying to smile.

"You are not. I know when you are, and when you are not." I said walking to where he sat.

"Ariana I shouldn't tell you this, but I don't think keeping any secrets will help issues now." He said and my heart leap in fear.

"Balsuma what is going on?" I asked fearfully.

"Andrey was captured by Dogard, and it is so sure he is going to treat her very bad." He said and my heart heat up immediately.

"Why would he do something like that? She is innocent, why would he dragged into what she knows nothing about?" I asking raising my shaky voice.

"I don't know Ariana, I guess she showed him what he wasn't expecting." He said and I looked at him in confusion.

"I don't understand." I said looking at him.

"I know Andrey well, she is so confident and can face anyone apart from me. It is possible she acted in a way he wasn't expecting." He said and I sighed as tears rolled down my face.

"Can't we save her? He will hurt her, and she knows nothing about all these." I said sadly.

"I sent Lucas to him already, he will take care of it." He said and I held my head.

"How can we be so sure? You and I know this Dogard is capable of anything." I said and he nodded.

"That is true. But when it comes to Lucas, I trust his work." He said and I nodded reluctantly.

"I swear if he kills Andrey, I will kill him myself." I said in anger.

"I don't think that can be possible." He said and I looked at him in anger.

"I will do whatever it takes. He killed Anna, now he wants to take Andrey?" I asked in anger.

"We will have to wait for Lucas's report." He said and I stared into space remembering Mother and Momo?

"Balsuma where is Momo?" I asked in haste.

"Sh*t. I left her at the house." He said holding his head.

"Please let's go get her. She is the only friend I have." I said in tears and I saw him bow his head in sadness again.

"Did he kill her too?" I asked trying not to freak out.

"He destroyed everything in that house. Both the living and unliving. He burnt down the house with my men in it." He said clenching my fist and my eyes closed automatically.

I wanted to speak but I couldn't utter a word. I stared into space trying to sink in what he just told me. Intact all he told me.

"Ariana don't worry. I will take care of this." He said holding my hand as tears kept dropping down my eyes.

"Can't you just kill him?" I asked looking at him.

"It is not that easy Ariana. I am not that powerful." He said sadly.

"Then make yourself! I see no reason why I am still alive if all I love is nowhere to be found." I said in tears.

"Don't talk like that Ariana." He said and I shook my head.

"Use me Balsuma, this is the only chance we have to fight against this man. I don't mind dying to see him fall, you are so sweet Balsuma, you should reign. He is not worth that throne at all."

"I shouldn't stop you from getting that. Use me." I said and he shook his head standing up.

"That will never happen, I am not sacrificing you." He said and more tears dropped down my face.

"Loving me will do nothing but harm Balsuma, this is the only option we have." I said and he looked back abruptly.

"It is not Ariana." He said and I felt a little joy in me.

"What?" I asked eagerly.

"You won't want to do it Ariana." He said bowing.

"Tell me, you are scaring me. I will do it." I said confidently, though I was still scared of what he was about to say.

"I have to.... I have to get you pregnant on your birth day." He said and my mouth dropped open.

"What?" I smacked.

"I told you, you won't do it. I will abandon the throne to him, at least of I don't fight for it no need for him seeking power. He will let you be in peace, and I will also leave." He said and all I did was stare at him.

"How do getting me pregnant have to do with you possessing more powers?" I asked in confusion.

"I can't really explain it. Lucas will do that better, there is no need for that. You can't lose your virginity to somebody like me, and I am not ready to sacrifice you. So I just let the throne be." He said walking back to the room.

I sat on the couch still lost in thought.

"Get me pregnant?" And then we give birth to another child from hell? Am I even ready to give out my Virginity to him?

If I eventually get pregnant and Dogard still captures and kills me, isn't that putting two lives at stake? My child and mine?

I don't know what to think right now. I need to think this through. I stood up and walked to the room to see Balsuma facing the window.

"Can I have a private chat with Lucas?" I asked and he bent his head to look at me.

"I will call him." He said and I nodded slowly staring at him.
