chapter 13

Xavier stood behind me with a scowl etched on his face, he opened the car door whilst still glaring at the blonde man. I turned towards the man again giving him a sad smile.

" bye" I whispered, he nodded and pulled me in for one last hug before walking graciously back inside. I wiped my hopefully last tear and got into the Lambo without a word.

Too scared to look at him I kept my gaze out of the window and stared at the beautiful flower fields. They started to go by faster until everything turned blurry. I turned to Xavier to see his hands clenching the steering wheel so tight his knuckles turned yellow.

My anxiety and panic increased as the speed did, my heart is literally beating out of my chest.

" Xavier slow down" I whispered as I held onto my seat, he didn't listen instead he sped up, from 120 mph to 150.

" XAVIER STOP THE  CAR" I yelled in fear, he skillfully swerved to the side of the road.  The car slowed down instantly causing my body to jump forward. Oh hell no.

I didn't wait another second before jumping out of the car. Why would he do that to me, I'm the one that should be fucking mad. After all he has done to me! All the fucking anger and resentment he shows towards me doe no reason.

" get back in Deluca" he said coldly, I nodded my head no. Striding towards an open patch of grass I sat down. Xavier walked over to my side and crouched down in front of me furiously.

" why would you talk to my family like that" he said oddly calm, I couldn't help but snort. He twisted his face in confusion, he shouldn't be fucking confused.

" what do you mean, your mum called me poor and your brother called me a slut, you did nothing" a soft laugh escaped my lips.

" we're not even friends I get that but the least you could have done was to tell them to stop. I should be a little grateful though, at least you didn't join in like you did with the pervert" Xavier got of the ground and ran a hand through his hair. He seems to be contemplating something.

" just get in the car" he growled with a frustrated sigh. I've said what I want to say now all I want to do is go home, I dusted my dress of and sat in the car again.

The quiet tension filled drive was disrupted by harsh pounds of rain falling, soon thunder and lightening joined. Every time lightening struck my body shook, all my fears in one night fucking awesome. Breath. Zen Habiba zen.

Staring at the road in front of us my brows twisted in confusion, this isn't the road to my apartment. I turned towards him.

" where are we going?" I asked confused, Xavier sped up slightly.
"Your apartments to far, my old house is here" I looked back at the road to see a mansion but it was much smaller than his house. It seemed to abandoned yet neatly kept.

He stopped by the door and got out quickly, grabbing my phone I followed him. My face scrunched as he opened the door without a key, he just pushed it. Why would a house like this be unlocked. I should be scared.

We entered the house and Xavier told me follow him up the white spiral staircase, he pointed at a musty grey colored door.

"your room, mines is next door" I nodded and went inside. It's a beautiful spacious room with no decorations or even color. There was literally only a bed and nightstand in the room. Laying on the bed I sighed, my life's fucked.

After 5 minutes of contemplating everything that happened my stomach growled loudly, dammit. That reminds me I didn't eat anything because of his family.

Jumping up from the bed I walked towards the kitchen, a massive fridge graced my presence which made my heart happy. Glancing through the various fruits in boxes I frowned, come on. Turning my attention towards the freezer section my happiness peaked. ICECREAM.

Icecream is a girls best friend lemme tell you that.

After finishing half the tub I placed it back in its rightful area, dammit my hands are so sticky. I washed my hands under the freezing cold water, after they were clean I started to shake my hands whilst walking towards the staircase.

A clink resonated through the room, looking at the ground I gasped to see my ring rolling away. Anxiety spread through my body as I followed it quickly. The ring began slowing down I bent down to grab it but before I could wrap my fingers around the ring it dropped. My heart stopped. The ring fell through a crack.

Before I panicked 100% another clink echoed, there's a room underneath here? Oh god. Pushing away the Asian fear that told me run and never look back I lifted the carpet to see a little handle. Of ducking course.

I'm like the motherfucking blonde in a scary movie that does the stupid thing like going down into a hole, if this wasn't for the fricken ring I wouldn't have done it. I slowly crept down the spiral rusty stairs using the light from above, once I reached the bottom the stair creaked, shit.

Using the little light from above I spotted a long wire handing from the ceiling, please be a light I begged. Pulling on the wire quickly a dim light shone through the room.

The smile on my face disappeared as the contents of the room came into view, daggers punchy things whips and in the middle of the room is a steel chair with blood splattered across it.

What the fuck is this, suddenly my heart began to beat faster than Usain Bolt, I stepped back carefully trying to control my labored breaths but I bumped into something warm.

" ahhhhhhhhh.....!" I began to scream but was stopped by a hand muffling my voice, I tried to kick backwards when the warm thing behind me turned me around. Relief washed over me as I realised the warm thing is Xavier.

" what the fuck are you doing here!"
