Liam's POV

The moment I reach the penthouse my fist landed on Hendrick's face. And we were out of control. We ended up crashing the furniture and throwing punches at each other. We were shouting at each other, cursing and threatening each other. Natasha decided to get in between us and pinned Hendrick on the floor. She kicked me and I stumble back. Samuel took that opportunity to grab me and tried his best to hold me. Then I heard Patricia call out my name and the world stopped.

I immediately walked to her and captured her lips. I missed her so much and there was no way that I would let anything stop me from having her. She's been teasing me for weeks and now she will be mine. I remember kicking the bedroom door and removing the towel covering her body. After that, I was on autopilot. "What the fuck is it?" I growled at Natasha and Hendrick once we got to the poolside.

"Benedict is back," Hendrick stated seriously. "I got a letter yesterday from him so I immediately come to see." He handed me the letter.

As my maker, I would like you to know that we are all in grave danger. Liam has been keeping secrets from you that can put our race endangered. The bloodline of the true maker did not end as you all believed. The girl is alive and can be plotting her revenge for her parents' murder. I seek for your allegiance. I have been trying to prove she is alive and I'm getting closer to solve the mystery. Liam saved the girl years ago but it's hard to find out where she is. I can't go up against him but I believe you can. You are as powerful as him so I hope you can find out where the girl is and end her life once and for all. I have people trying to find the girl but the killings are becoming too obvious even Natasha is already on the move. I know I'm getting close since Liam and Natasha are investigating the killings and are now working together. I can't just hide and wait for that girl to end all of us. I will find that girl and kill her. I hope that you take my side and end this problem. With or without your help I would find that girl and kill her. I would end what I have started 10 years ago. Just like her parents, she will die. BENEDICT

"So, please do tell me the truth." Hendrick glared at me. "I'm dying to hear your explanation. And as for you." He looked at Natasha. "Why would you keep something this big from us? You've always taken Liam's side."

"His my favorite." Natasha blurted out. "Come on, you know that I'll always take Liam's side. But I'm taking his side now because I don't think Benedict is in his right mind. He has his men killing innocent people."

"Where is she? Where is the girl that can end us all." Hendrick asked.

"Who's side are you on?" Natasha replied.

"Do you think I would be here showing you Benedict's letter if I'm on his side," Hendrick stated. "Liam, where is the girl. Why are you hiding her?"

"I wouldn't break the promise I made to Elisabeth. I swore to protect her and her bloodline will live as long as I live." I replied.

"Then believe me when I say I'm on your side. I wouldn't tell a soul where she is and would help you protect her." Hendrick stated.

"Wow, you still don't have a clue," Natasha stated in disbelief. "I haven't told him anything." She glared at me when I stare at her.

"It's her?" Hendrick realized. "You're having sex with Elisabeth's great great great super great-grandchild." Natasha started laughing.

"Liam's in love with her." She stated.

"I need to make sure that she is safe and for the record, she doesn't have any idea about us. She has no idea we're vampires and we are going to keep it that way."

"Are you sure you can do that? I know how much I love to feed on the woman I fuck. Are you saying you haven't fed on her?" He stared at me.

"Never," I stated. "She is to be kept safe. If I have to tie her down and lock her up, I'd do it."

We talked about how to keep Patricia safe and we also tried to contact Oliver and Mike but to no avail. I've lost track of time. The palace is the safest place we can take her but it might take a few days before the place was ready to live in. It's been years since someone stayed there. So, some renovation is needed. I already called several people to work on it. We can't stay in the city so we had to move my glass house where I first shared my intimate moment with Patricia. That place was secluded and it can easily be guarded by unwanted visitors. We all agreed to go there the next day. We just need to convince Patricia. And speaking of the devil she suddenly came out.

Wow!" Natasha stated when she saw Patricia wearing her sexy lingerie with my polo shirt as her topper. "No wonder Liam doesn't want to stay away from you. Damn, girl every time I see you, your almost naked."

"What the hell, Patricia." I moved next to her trying to block the other's view.

"You left me in bed. You said you'd be back immediately." She glared at me. "Besides, you requested I wear this so I'd be more than happy to comply." She walked past me and sat next to Natasha at the couch.

"Kitten, it was really nice hearing you moaning and screaming earlier," Hendrick stated. "Felt like I was in the room watching you. It turns me on."

"Hendrick," Natasha warned him to stop. "I'd be the one beating you up if you don't shut the fuck up."

"Patricia, please do change. I hate seeing someone eye fucking you." I sat next to her.

"You're problem, not mine." She rolled her eyes at me as she walk back the room to change. "I'm going out." She announced after changing.

"Samuel and Mikel will accompany you," I replied.

They left and I tried to calling Benjamin and Oliver. Natasha also tried to call Mike and Amber. At last, I was able to get in touch with Oliver.

"Liam, we are on our way back," Oliver stated. "It was a trap."

"What?!" I put him on speakers.

"Tell us what happened." Natasha butt in.

"We lost Mike. He's dead." Amber replied. "He sacrificed himself so we can safely escape."

"What the hell? Are you sure you weren't followed." I asked.

"Positive," Benjamin replied. "Don't worry we know the drill. I'm going to head back to my hometown and lay low. I'll send you the details of what happened."

"I'm heading back home," Amber stated. "I have to tell the others what happened to Mike."

"Alright, be careful," Natasha stated.

"Oliver, make sure that you stay in the club once you get back and don't speak to anyone about what happened," I stated.

"Of course." He replied. "They are looking for a girl. They seemed to have a lead already. They are heading to our city, Liam. We'll forward you the picture we have taken."

We needed to come up with a story to convince Patricia that her life is in danger. We need to make her cooperate with us. Natasha came up with a story we can use. We also tried to contact some people to find out Benedict's whereabouts. Hendrick has no way to contact him. Based on the information the others sent us and Benedict's letter, he had eyes on us. We need to move out of the city unnoticed. We should move during the day. After being gone for almost 3 hours Samuel and Mikel were back. Where the hell was Patricia?

"Liam, we can't find Trish," Samuel stated.

"What do you mean you can't find her?" I glared at him.

"We went to the mall and then she was suddenly gone," Mikel replied.

"You idiot." I punched Samuel in the face and he fell down in the ground.

"Stop." Natasha blocked my way when I started to advance towards Samuel again.

"When did you last so her?" Hendrick asked Mikel who was helping Samuel get up.

"About two hours ago. We tried looking for her but we couldn't find her." Mikel explained. "We tried calling her but her phone was switched off."

"And you decide to only tell us now," I yelled at him. "We have to find her," I called several of my men to the penthouse and shared Patricia's photo so they can help me find her.

"Hi, am I in the right place?" I heard her voice and I part the people blocking my way to see her.

"Patricia." Where the fuck have you been?!" I screamed at her and grabbed her harshly.

"I told you I was going out. Let me go your hurting me." She cried but the more I gripped on her arms since I was beyond furious.

"Release her." Hendrick removed my hands off Patricia and pushed me to the floor.

"It's okay." Natasha embraced her and she started crying louder. "Shhh."

"Everyone you may go now," Hendrick stated and they all left. "Are you okay, kitten?" He handed her a glass of water. "Here, this should calm you down."

"Thanks." She sat on the couch and Natasha and Hendrick went to the poolside to give us some privacy.

"I'm sorry." I knelt in front of her and she flinched when I touched her bruised arm.

"Don't touch me." She moved away from me.

"Love, I'm sorry. I was so fucking worried that someone has taken you. Please forgive me."

"You're unbelievable." She stood up to leave but I embrace her to stop her.

"You are not going to leave my sight. From now on everywhere you go I would be there."

"I'm not an object that you can own."

"But you are mine, love." I looked into her eyes and smiled. "And you will do as I say."

"In your dreams." I stepped at my foot but I didn't budge.

"You are mine," I stated before capturing her lips.

She melted in the kiss that we share but after that, she locked herself up in my room. She refused to talk to me so I had to breakdown the bedroom door to talk to her. It breaks my heart to see her mad at me and the bruises on her arms make me feel like a vicious monster. I didn't mean to hurt her. I was totally out of the line losing my temper on her. How can I forget that she is a fragile human being? I begged for her to forgive me and she eventually gave in to listen to us.

"We have to leave and hide for the time being," I stated once we were at the living room with Samuel, Mikel, Hendrick, and Natasha.

"Why and who do you mean we?" She replied uninterested.

"All of us." Natasha butt in when I didn't answer. "We are all in grave danger."

"What? Why? Who the hell are you people?!" Patricia was now annoyed.

"Someone from our past has returned and is causing all this problem," Hendrick stated.

"Can someone just please tell me what the hell is going on. I'm not fond of riddles. Just tell me straight to the point." Patricia stated frustrated with the runaround.

"I have a person hunting me down and he'll do anything to hurt me. He will attack the people I care about." I stated.

"So? Why the hell do I have to hide? It's not like I'm involved here." She stated.

"They know about you and they will not hesitate to harm you to get to me. Patricia, they will hunt you down and kill you." I stated.

"Me? You mean to say someone wants me dead because I am here with you." She glared at me. "So Scott is dead because of you."

"No! Scott has his own problems." I stated.

"Who the hell is Scott?" Natasha asked.

"Trish ex-boyfriend," Mikel stated.

"Let's get back to the issue at hand." Hendrick butt in. "Kitten, you have to trust us to protect you. Until this problem is resolved you are stuck with us. You don't have a choice."

"Wow! Do you expect me to just agree with that? I'd rather just stay away from all of you. Being involved with you people is the reason I'm in deep shit." Patricia stated angrily.

"Love, please." I was trying to stay calm. "Trust me on this. I would never let anything harm you."

"This is your fucking fault." She slapped me hard in the face and everyone was shocked.

"What the hell?!" Mikel pulled he away from me.

"Do that again and I'd lock you up." I glared at her. "You are going with us whether you like it or not. We'll be leaving tomorrow morning."

"You are a jerk." Patricia yelled at me. "I'll find a way to escape and I'd make sure that you can't find me ever again."

"Trish, baby girl. Calm down." Mikel embrace her. "Listen, we have to go with them. Our chances of survival is higher when we are with them."

"But why do we have to get involved in their mess."

"Well because you were head over heels with Liam. And whomever is after them is probably after us also." Mikel stated. "I'm going with you. So please stop panicking. They'll resolve this matter easily if we cooperate with them."

"Fine. But once it's over I never want to see you again." She stated staring at me. "Your nothing but bad news."

The next day we drove to the glass house. Mikel knew what we are thanks to Samuel. He pledge secrecy and promised never to tell anyone about our kind. He explained to us that Trish had been interested in proving vampire's existence before but had already given up. She hated vampires but never really explained the reason why. Due to this we all agreed to keep our true identity to Patricia. As they say what you don't know won't kill you.
