Manny p.o.v

"Morning everyone." I greet my mom and dad noticing the absence of my brother Jasper Joles,my brother.

"Where is jasper?." I ask my mother who just looks at me smiling

"Oh he has gone to work." Arizona, my mom tells me.

"Work?!." Jasper does not go to work because he has not started working at any company.

"Yes honey." Davy,my Dad adds to it. "He got a job yesterday and told us in the evening when you were asleep."

"Why did he not tell me?." I ask Davy a little angry at Jasper because he always says we are best friend now he did not even tell me about his new job,so rude.

"Well do not blame him,blame yourself for sleeping late honey." Arizona tells me like she heard what I said in my mind.

"Whatever, I need to Lorraine." Lorraine Patti is my best friend in girls,she is my best friend in girls,we play a lot,tell ourselves secrets and the worse of all,she is a celebrity freak.

I hate celebrities freaks because they are also humans like us and lorry is a celebrity freak but I love her so much as my best friend.

"Well before you go anywhere Manny,you will have to come have breakfast." Arizona stands up from the black chair she was sitting on.

"Manny,why not go look for a job,I mean your father is working and is bringing a thousand dollars every month and now that you brother is working and he is going to be bringing a hundred dollars you should also bring money home." My mom tells me.

Well we are poor and my mother is like a money freak but she got married to a poor family and gave birth to a handsome guy and a Nerd. Yes I am a Nerd.

"Mom,if you are so interested in money,why did you then get married to Dad?." I ask her knowing well that my Dad is poor but I can not say it in his face else he will feel bad.

"Well Manny,you know,I loved money so much. First have your seat." My mother and I sit down close to each other as my dad just goes upstairs.

"My dream was to get married to a wealthy and handsome,well I got married to a very handsome man.

I wanted to live in Paris but I did not know all your dreams can not come to pass.

I worked as a maid in a restaurant and there was when I met the love of my life. Davy.

He was a worker,at first I did not know anything about him until when I fell and he caught me.

I fell in love with him that instance but I was not sure if he loved me too.

When my parents were able to gather some money for me to go to college I left that restaurant but I was so sad because I thought I was losing the love of my life. But I was wrong. I later saw him in my college,he was a student too.

I was surprised and happy that I was meeting the love of my life. I new destiny wanted me to be with him but the next year after entering college. My brother died." Arizona cleans a drop of tears coming out of her beautiful eyes.

"Mom,are you crying?." I ask her aware that she is crying.

"It is just so sad that he left his children and his wife behind."

"It is OK mom,stop crying else I will crying." I threaten her.

"OK,I will not cry so you should clean the tears in your eyes." She tells me making me realizing that I am crying already.

"Oh." I chuckle then removes my glasses cleaning the tears in my eyes.

"OK let me continue." My mom tells me and she seems to be really happy that she is telling me the story.

"Mom,stop this your love story and tell me the story of how your brother died and how his wife died two years after his death." I tell her really interested of how he died.

"OK I will tell you." 

"I just hope you do not cry." I tease her as we both laugh.

"My brother, Toddy got married to his wife Felicity. They were living a really happy life. After six years of marriage none of them had worked not even once and that thing was annoying Felicity, well she already had Mae. When Toddy got a job at a big company where he was supposed to be getting a hundred thousand dollars."

"Supposed?." I ask her not sure of why she will use supposed as my mother sighs.

"Well,while he was already progressing,he got killed by Felicity's ex boyfriend Jody who is now dead. He was arrested and later when he was released he killed his mother and father because their were scolding him for killing someone and he said he does not like it so he killed them."

"Oh my God." I look at my mother really shocked.

"So as you were telling me about your love story. What did you do when you heard the news?." I ask my mother, well I am the type that likes talking a lot. I got it from my mother. She talks a lot.

"Oh yeah when I heard the news I was so sad then I decided to tell Dave which I did."

"Were you friends already?." I ask her as she nods.

"Yes we were." She chuckles.

"So what did Dad say?." I ask her as she laughs.

Why us she laughing? I mean was it not sad to her when she told Dad?.

"Your Dad then told me sorry and the next week after that he proposed to me." Mom tells me causing me to feel so surprised.

"What did you say?." I ask her I mean her brother just died and he was proposing to her. That is the most shocking thing I have ever seen in my life.

"I agreed. At first I was surprised then I thought I can not destroy the relationship with the love of my life because of the death of my brother so I accepted then he kissed me."

I chuckle. It does not fit my Dad to be kissing somebody because he seems like someone that is too shy and does not express his love to  anyone.
