Chapter 8

When I finally make it in front of him his eyes dance back and forth between mine for a moment, looking like he is in complete awe.

“Elenor Charlotte Miner.” He takes a deep breath to calm his own nerves and I do the same. “We may not have had the most fairytale of beginnings as mates. I made a mess of things between us. I was stupid and confused, yet you gave me chance after chance. You never had to do that, but you believed in the destiny of the Moon Goddess's pairing."

He takes my hand in his and gently caresses it with his thumb taking another breath.

"I made you a promise to make it up to you every day for the rest of our lives and I intend on keeping that promise. You were my first and I want you to be my last. I vow to love and protect you and our litter of pups until my dying breath. When you were taken from me I saw the rest of my life as meaningless and dark. You are my light Ellie. You and this pack are my reasons for living. I can’t wait to run this pack with you by my side as not only my Luna, but my wife."

He pauses only to kiss the back of my hand.

"So Ellie, will you do me the honor of marrying me?"

By the time he is finished I am ugly crying. I don’t have to think on it for long so I pretty much blurt out my answer.

“Yes, of course I will! Now get up and kiss me!” He gets to his feet and pulls me into him for a passionate kiss.

“I love you Ellie Miner.”

“I love you too Colin Winter.”

“If it’s ok with you, I would like to have our wedding at our Alpha and Luna ceremony, in front of our entire pack!" He kisses me again and continues.

"In the meeting today I asked your father for permission. Both sets of our parents are thrilled. That's what the meeting was about. Obviously our moms are ecstatic."

“Wow, that’s a lot to take in!” My eyes go wide and my brows shoot up. I don't know what to say.

“I’m sorry, I am just really happy that you said yes.” He speaks like he is finally able to let out a breath he has been holding in for too long.

“Were you unsure of what my answer would have been?” I raise a brow at him out of curiosity.

“Honestly, a little.” He shrugs and looks so cute with puppy dog eyes and a pouty lip.

“So, are you going to put the ring on my finger? Or is it going to sit in a box until then?” I laugh as he lets go of me and fumbles it out of it’s box with shaky fingers from the nerves still coursing through him.

I just laugh and shake my head. I hold out my left hand and he slides the ring onto my finger. It fits perfectly and is stunning. It is a rose gold and silver twisted band with a solitaire Sapphire Odessa diamond.

He holds onto my hands making circles on them with his thumb while I gaze at the engagement ring that is now on my finger. When I finally look back up he is staring at me.

"You really are as beautiful as the Goddess herself Ellie."

He goes to the little sitting area and I hadn't noticed it earlier, but there is a little mini kitchen, almost like a hotel kitchen against the one wall. He goes into one of the cabinets and brings down two champagne flutes, placing them on the small café table. He then opens the fridge and takes out a bottle of champagne and a plate of chocolate covered strawberries.

Pouring the glasses and handing me one, we say a toast to our future and feed each other strawberries before heading to the bed. 

"Don't think I forgot about you telling me you would take care of me tonight. I held up my end of the deal. Now it's your turn, fiancé." I wink at him while I slip off one of my dress sleeves slowly.

A low growl rattles from his throat and he rubs his hands together getting ready for what he is about to do to me. When he starts coming towards me I squeal in anticipation.

He places one hand on my thigh while his other grabs the side of my neck. I lean my head into it and let out a long moan when his other makes its way under my dress until it lands on my wet folds. I hadn't put on any panties and he is just realizing it.

His mouth hits my neck hard and he sucks on it while his fingers find their way inside me. My hips grind into his hand so that his palm rubs against my bud. Colin curls up his fingers so that he can find my g spot and I gasp when he hits his target. Satisfied with himself he smiles into my neck and starts to aggressively roll his fingers around inside of me while his palm continues it's job on the outside.

All I can do is close my eyes and moan over and over with the pleasure that is building up inside me like a mountain. I have to grab his back to keep my knees from buckling. As he brings his lips to mine and forces his tongue into my mouth I hit my peak.

My walls clench against his fingers and a long drawn out moan was drown out into his mouth as his tongue still played with my own.

Unable to move because I am still in my orgasm, Colin slowly removes his hand. He lifts me by my waist and lays me on the edge of the bed so that my legs are dangling off.

Before I can process what is happening his mouth is on my entrance licking up the juices from my last orgasm and instantly sending me dangerously close to another one. I scrape my already extended claws against his scalp and I massage his head, slowly rolling it in circles so that his nose is now attending my sensitive and throbbing bud. His tongue glides in and out of me and I let my head fall backwards.

"Oh, Colin, Oh," I bite my lip as if trying to hold out as long as possible so that I can continue to ride out this high. Colin has other plans apparently, he brings his tongue out of me and quickly pulls my bud into his mouth, his teeth gently tugging on it, sending me through the roof. I fall onto the bed and shivers course through my body.

The only recovery I am granted is the time it takes Colin to undress, which is not long. I close my eyes in anticipation of his erection which is suddenly inside of me. I open my eyes and I am filled with not only his full length but a surge of energy, ready to go all night. His eyes widen, sensing my bolt of energy renewal.

He slides himself out, spins me around so that I am now standing and my stomach is laying on the bed. Colin thrusts himself back inside and I scream in delight.

He takes both of my wrists in one hand and places them over my head, the other hand smacks my ass and then grabs a fistful of it while pumping himself in and out. My core begins throbbing around his member as we both finally hit our orgasms at the same time, moaning in unison as our highs take us to another level of ecstasy.

His body collapses onto me but he holds himself up slightly with his now free hand that has let go of my wrists. He gives my ass another slap and I spin around to face him.

now standing as well, I put my arms around his neck and he puts his around my waist. Staring into each others eyes in pure happiness, not saying a word.

His eyes gray over and his facial expression changes. When they return to hazel he sighs and lowers my arms from his neck. I am not prepared for what he says next.
