Thinking of Colin and what he must be going through is heartbreaking knowing that I can't mind link him and say I am ok. The first smile I have formed since the ball springs to my face as I close my eyes and see his face.

I can't believe that Shane helped them look for me. He is really sick and I just don't know why he's so obsessed with me. My smile starts falling again, still unsure of my fate while in this cellar.

Josie stands and paces the cellar, her hands juggling the air and her mouth breathing unintelligible words. Her brain is clearly going through all of the escape options.

It isn’t until my breathing becomes shallow again that her train of thought is interrupted and her eyes dart towards me, yet again wide and full of shock.

“Ellie! You’re in heat, do you know that?” Without being able to speak I simply nod my answer.

“Ok! ok! ok!” She paces faster for a few seconds before stopping in her tracks and coming back down to where I am. She gives me a hopeful look like she is starting to figure out the puzzle.

“I have to go find someone! I’ll be back with cold wet towels Ellie, try to stay calm!”

I can’t even nod this time as the coals start to reignite the fire again and the screams find their way back to my throat.

“HURRRYYYYY!” I start to lose consciousness, but before I let the darkness take me again, I hear Josie give demands to the warriors outside of my door.

“Leave this door closed and do not go inside no matter how loud she gets. Do not listen to her if she wants you to come take care of her situation, and DO NOT tell anyone I was here. You know that Alpha will have your head for letting me in there!”

Her voice gets quieter as she runs down the hallway on a mission. I just hope whoever she is getting will be able to help, and I pray they return in time.
