chapter 8

Niyah’s POV  

“You are such a cry baby, Jace”, I teased my shaky mate as we got off the roller coaster.

I had thought that I would pretend to be scared and get a bit touchy with my mate but it turned out that the serious and unapproachable demeanor he put up on the front was instantly vaporized to a panic-stricken, shrieking Alpha as we got into the six flags roller coaster.

He clung to me as if his life depended on how hard he could squeeze the pulp out of me and in the end I  ended up kissing him numerous times before he calmed down.

“I swear I will rip off that wretched Sage’s head from his pretty body”, Jace hissed for the nth time.

Now, I understood why he was so pushy in sending Jace and me to the ride.

I laughed inwardly at his practical joke so that Jace did not get further offended.

Damn these boys ! They are so fun.

Everyone had a gala time as we watched the boys to be pretty dumb losers when it came to show their guts on the rides.

The girl gang was all the more excited to try out all rides.

“C’mon guys ! Let’s go to one last ride”, Amanda pleaded to the boys.

“No way ! I am close to pouring out any contents that I have in my stomach. You girls go and enjoy. We shall be waiting for you here only”, Sage said.

As we headed to the ride, I realized my jumpsuit was slightly out of place.

“You bitches carry on. I have to fix myself in the restroom”, I said as I parted with them.

After I was done, I headed towards the boy’s direction when I suddenly stopped in my tracks.

At the center of the kids’ merry-go-round was an obviously slutty looking blonde with a body I would kill for, with almost no clothes on it, fervently engrossed in an intense make-out session with Sage !

I couldn’t tell whether Sage was liking it or not but that whore was certainly enjoying her feast to the fullest and I equally hated it !

My other four mates suddenly noticed me and their faces went pale.

They could tell by just glancing at me once that the kissing couple on the merry-go-round was in trouble.

“WHAT THE FUCK, JENETTE ?”, Sage growled as he tried push her away from him.

“Oh honey ! Let’s continue somewhere else”, the slut purred seductively as she tried to take Sage with her.

This was completely getting on my nerves and I could tell that Sage was equally pissed off about it but I knew he would not disrespect any woma- wait a minute ! Did he say Jenette ? Like Jenette- Jenette ? The one who is Victor’s mate ?

I looked closely and saw a sun tattoo same as Laira’s on her body.

Yeah that’s definitely Victor’s mate, my inner subconscious said.

So should I kill her ? I asked my inner subconscious which seemed to exploding with jealousy, possessiveness and fury at the moment.

Hell yeah girl ! How dare she make a move on our mate.

My nerves suddenly snapped as I saw Jenette run her fingers over Sage’s jeans over his member as if she was yearning for it to be inside her.

Enough ! This bitch is going to pay for this with her life- mate or no mate of Victor’s, I for hell didn’t care even one ounce about it not.

I quickly reached across the merry-go-round and grabbed an unsuspecting Jenette by her throat and dragged her with me to the woods outside the amusement park.

She tried to wriggle free but my grip on her only strengthened as I clutched her throat even harder.

Soon enough we reached the inner part of the woods and I threw her hard on the ground as she coughed and sputtered as oxygen filled back her lungs.

“What the hell, bitch ?”, she hissed.

“STAY THE FUCK AWAY FROM MY BOYFRIEND”, I said with gritted teeth.

“Sorry cunt but he ain’t yours to keep. He is MY fuck buddy”, Jenette yelled back.

What the fuck is wrong with this bitch ? Is she delusional ? Did she just say that one of the strongest Alphas was her toy who happens to be my mate too ? And fuck buddy- like seriously ? They have been doing this since a long time ?

I felt my heart ache at this realization but soon my body shook with rage.

This bitch is so dead.

“Did I just touch your raw nerve, baby girl ?”, Jenette teased as she laughed out loud.

I punched her squarely on her face which caused her fake nose to bleed profusely.

“Fuck ! You broke my perfect nose”, Jenette seethed with anger as she transformed into her wolf.

She zig-zagged her way towards me with great ferocity and pace but it was still slow and I calmly waited for her to make the wrong move which she did.

Although she attacked mindfully, unlike Laira and kept both her flanks well defended, she did the wrong thing to launch herself to target my jugular vein.

Soon she was sent flying in the air as her body finally crushed on a sharp boulder and blood oozed out.

The sweet smell of the werewolf blood fogged my senses once again and my fangs suddenly barred out of my mouth.

Before anyone else could react I had ripped her heart apart and fed on her wildly, rummaging her body beyond recognition.

I felt a pair of strong arms force me apart from the corpse and the familiar touch calmed me down as I stared back into my mate’s eyes.

“That’s it Niyah !” Sage said as he kissed me tenderly and calmed me down.

“But she touched you”, I wept uncontrollably in Sage’s embrace, my entire body threatening to crumple down.   

Sage did not reply and instead pulled me closer in his embrace and crashed his lips on mine, the intensity almost knocking my feet off the ground.

His lips moved furiously against mine as one of his hands tightened around my hair and the other pulled me by my waist any closer- if it were possible- to him.

We both were gasping for air when we finally separated and I felt more at ease as my tears stopped rolling down my bloody face.

“Niyah, let’s go to my home, ok ?”, Sage said.

I nodded and noticed that everyone had been here the whole time, worry written all over their faces.

“Sage, what about Jenette and her bodyguards ?”, I asked.

“Michael, Jacob, Xavier and John killed them all. Lee, Katie and Amanda will cover up everything. Don’t worry”, Sage comforted me.

Soon Sage and I were racing away from the gruesome site in the woods which was anyways all my doing and going to his home- Silver Bow.

I wonder what this week will bring for all us, I sighed as I looked out of the window of our car.
