Candice Michel lui a demandé prudemment avec une voix tremblante.

-Où entendes-tu ces bêtises ?

Noah Vincent, un peu impatient, a fermé le dessin de la bague de mariage et indiqué la robe de mariée sur le lit du doigt.

-Mets-le, je vais voir.

-Quelle jolie robe !

Les grands yeux de Candice Michel brillaient, elle aimait bien cette robe de mariée.

-Ne la touche pas !

Noah Vincent a parlé avec un ton non gentil de peur que la robe ait été salée par elle.

Candice Michel a frissonné de peur et a retiré sa main immédiatement.

Frissonnante, elle s’est déshabillée et a enfilé la robe de mariée avec précaution.

- Ambre est un peu plus plantureuse qu’elle. C’est serré pour elle, comment fais-tu la mesure ? De plus, refait le design et change l’enveloppe de poitrine en col montant.

En regardant la poitrine de Candice Michel, Noah Vincent était inexplicablement en colère.

- Oh, Monsieur Vincent, tellement fâché ? Pourquoi pas laisser les autres jeter un œil au corps de rêve d’Ambre ?

Le designer a ri et plaisanté au téléphone.

-Seulement je peux regarder ma femme.

Prenant une profonde inspiration, Noah Vincent s’est levé et s’est dirigé vers Candice Michel.

Il a dû admettre que parmi tant de femmes, Candice Michel était celle qui pouvait l’intéresser le plus.

-Noah…Noah, puis-je enlever cette robe ? Michel parlait avec une voix de pleur, elle n’était pas idiote, elle savait très bien que cette belle robe ne lui appartenait pas.

Noah Vincent ne l’aimait pas, la femme qu’il aimait s’appelle Ambre Girard.

Elle a entendu dire qu’ils se marieraient rapidement.

Le mariage signifiait qu’ils seraient ensembles pour toujours et qu’il ne serait jamais possible d’appartenir à quelqu’un d’autre.

-Ne l’enlève pas, habille-toi bien.

Noah Vincent parlait avec une voix un peu basse et a pressé Michel contre le mur méchamment.

La robe de mariée était très lourde et elle n’avait nulle part à s’échapper.

Elle aimait vraiment cette robe de mariée ainsi que cet homme.

-Noah…

Noah Vincent ne voulait que posséder Candice Michel et ne se souciait pas de ce qu’elle ressentait.

A ses yeux, Candice Michel n’était qu’un outil, un outil ramassé.

Le picotement faisait pleurer Candice Michel avec des larmes continuée comme des perles brisées, et chaque contact semblait être la punition la plus meurtrière.

Le lendemain matin.

-Noah, tu reviens dîner ce soir ?

Candice a demandé à voix basse. Elle s’est senti étourdie alors qu’elle était allongée dans le grand lit.

-Michel, est-ce que j’ai un cas particulière de rester chez toi pendant deux nuits consécutifs ?

Un peu impatient, Noah Vincent s’est levé et a fait signe à Candice Michel de l’aider à boutonner sa chemise.

Candice Michel s’est levé immédiatement et restait debout sur le sol froid avec pieds nus.

-Pardon…

-Ça suffit, arrête d’avoir un air pitoyable devant moi chaque jour, je sais très bien que ce que tu veux, j’aimes les femmes intelligentes, tu comprends ?

Noah Vincent a repoussé la main de Candice Michel avec impatience, arrangé lui-même son col et répondu à un appel.

Ses jambes étant adoucies, elle est tombée sur la terre et ses yeux rougis comme un petit lapin.

-Je ne veux rien…

Elle voulait seulement que Noah Vincent pourrait rester chez lui encore une nuit.

-Ambre, tu es à l’aéroport ? J’y viens tout de suite, attends-moi là-bas, ne quitte pas, d’accord ?

Après avoir raccroché le téléphone, Noah Vincent s’est dépêché de prendre sa veste et de partir. La baise avec Candice la nuit précédente était si intense qu’il a presque oublié que Ambre débarquait aujourd’hui.

-Noah, tu ne prendras le petit déjeuner ?

Candice s’est levé et elle l’a suivi attentivement. Il devrait au moins en prendre une ou deux bouchées pour remplir son ventre.

-Va-t’en !

Noah Vincent a pensé qu’elle l’embêtait, si l’elle ne se ressemblait pas à Ambre Girard, il ne voudrait même pas la voir.

Bang ! En fermant la porte, Noah Vincent semblait avoir isolé Candice du monde extérieur.

Candice a baissé ses mains faiblement et puis elle a baissé sa tête et regardé ses pieds.

L’hiver arrive.

Elle était avec Noah Vincent depuis un an.

Lors de la première forte chute de neige à la Ville de Mer de l’année dernière, Noah Vincent a récupéré Candice Michel qui était couvert de sang suite à un accident de voiture sur la route.

Le médecin a dit que son cerveau avait été blessé et que sa mémoire avait été perdue.

Peut-être sa mémoire serait rétablie bientôt, ou jamais dans toute sa vie.
