chapter 19

I hear him calling my name from behind but I just kept running. 

Before I could enter my room, I feel strong arms on my waist, he closes the door of the bedroom, pushing me against the wall. I was a sandwich between Andrew and the wall, he moves his arm around my back before I could speak anything he grabs my wrist in a strong grip that a gasp escapes from my mouth. 

My hand reaches to hold his hands which were on my waist but he doesn't lose his grip his eyes directly looking into my mine suddenly I feel a shiver runs down my spine. 

He was pushing me more against the wall, making my knees weak, I see his face getting close to mine, he opens his mouth "Clam down I won't do anything" he whispers softly in my ears. Relief rush over me. "I can explain why I did this" after that he told me everything "Still You will kill my brother? " He closes his eyes before answering "No". That's all he said. "Promise," I asked him raising my palm. "Promise" he repeated while kissing my neck. 

"You lie about loving me," I said, he angrily looks at me before speaking. " you can't even imagine how much I love you, elina" and then he kissed me on the lips, running his tongue inside my mouth, I grip his shirt's collar pulling him more closer, our tongue was dancing in perfect rhythm, his hands were squeezing my hips,  He lifts me from the floor without breaking the kiss I put my legs around his waist we were standing so close that even air can't pass through us. 

There was a hard knock on the door and Andrew softly lands me on the floor before opening the door. 

Nick and Sam were standing there staring us, silence is getting weird "What?"Andrew asks breaking the silence. 

"Is everything alright?" Sam ask me and I nodded smiling. They both share confusion look. "I won't kill Marcus," Andrew said looking at them. 

"Elina you forgive him so easily, I mean he was trying to kill your brother," Sam asked in confusion tone. Andrew gives him a furious look, making me laugh. 

"Yeah but at a condition," I said trying to look more serious, Andrew raised a brow, there was a smirk on nick and Sam's face. 

"And what's that condition?" Andrew asks pulling me in his arms "I want to help you finding that killer" they looked me with wide-eyed.

"But It could be danger-" I cut him off. 

"I don't care I want to help you or else I will never forgive you," I said looking away from him. I heard Sam and nicks laugh I turn around and saw that Andrew is glaring them. 

He sighs defeated. 

"Fine!! You can help us" I jumped in his arms and kissed him on his lips. 

"When this happens?" Sam asked looking at us with wide eyes. 

"Yesterday," Andrew and I said in unison before he put his lips on mine again. 

Nick took pictures of us and sam gives him a disgusting look, Andrew laughed when sam throws Nick's phone on the wall. Before walking away.

Andrew 

My heartbeat was almost stopped when I saw Elie standing at the library's door, listening to our conversation but in the end, everything went smoothly. We are officially dating each other for nick and sam, I was laughing hard when I saw Sam's disgusting look when eliena kissed me, he was trying to hit on her but now there's no chance of him. Things are going weirdly nice for now. 

I love elie and I promised her that I will not kill her brother but this won't stop me from taking revenge from Marcus he has to pay the price just because of him Phillips tried to kill me he even involved elie in this If I can't kill Marcus someone else will do this work for me. Yeah, I am evil and I am very proud of it. 

Came to think of yesterday nick, sam, and I was a shock when we found out that Maxon was hiding this from dad, if he was alive it wouldn't be that hard to find what he did with original copies. This all things are like a puzzle I need to join all pieces in order to complete it. 

I smell the beautiful fragrance coming closer to me I know elie uses this perfume but I didn't turn because as I let her surprise me "Hey what are you doing?" she whispers in my ears slowly wrapping her arms around my waist. 

"Making herbal tea, wanna have some?" she gives me a surprising look "You know how to make it?" she asks sitting beside me. "Yeah  are you surprised?" She nods "Well.....not exactly but I thought you have the staff to do this for you" I smiled and handed over the cup of tea to her. She slowly takes a sip and she looks me with widening eyes "This is delicious! If you don't mind can I take a little more?" I chuckle and pour some tea in her cup. 

"Actually I was here to take help from you, about the party I seriously don't know what to wear," She asked me in a genuine confusion tone. 

"Wear anything you like I know you will look beautiful only" she gives me a sad smile. "Then wear a blue dress" she rose a brow "Because I love that color I finished and she gives me a big smile before heading back to her room.

I open my closet to find a nice three-piece suit for today's party, If elie wouldn't say that she wants to go for the party because she never been in one, I love to spend my whole day keeping her in my arms kissing her entire body, my cock is already jumping just to think of her. I am sure she feels the same for me. Maybe after the party, I will do this only. 

I finally found a good suit, a perfect satin suit It will perfectly match with Elie's blue dress. After changing it to that satin suit, I went downstairs and saw nick wearing the same color suit with a different pattern. While sam was wearing his shiny leather jacket and black jeans. 

I must be lying If I say I remember they're going in the party as a couple, after looking at them it's become hard for me to control my laugh, sam was just smiling looking down at his phone and Nick notice me laughing at them he gives me weird looks "I am just going there to make sure your enemies can't harm you"He defends himself I nodded while laughing, I know you are going there to enjoy the party because you are tired of being my bodyguard. 

"Andrew How are we looking ?" Sam ask me finally taking his eyes off from his phone. 

Nick gives me a disgusting look maybe he knows what I am going to say "Just like couples" Nick shakes his head and sam was confused. 

Elina's pov

After taking the advice from Andrew he told me to wear a blue dress, well I have tons of blue dresses thanks to him but Its hard for me to choose what to wear exactly, some dresses are too open and others are too short. It took me an hour to finally choose the dress I was finding, It wasn't like I expected it to be but It is beautiful and I think It will work. 

I stared at myself in front of the bathroom mirror, just like I thought it's looking beautiful, running down my hands down to smoothen out the fabric of the dress. 

Andrew was right about the color it suits me very well "Miss eliena, Mr. Markar sent this for you.." a maid came to my room and handed me the velvet box (Mr. Markar she means to say Andrew sent this for me). I open the box taking out the diamond necklace carefully wears it. The earrings were heavier than the necklace itself. But I feel like it's worth wearing them. 

I took a step back, allowing more of myself to be seen in the mirror. My eyes ran over my entire body definitely there is something about this dress that makes me happy just looking at it. 

*Breathing * *Breathing *

I take a deep breath, trying to calm my nerves "Now I am ready" I said to myself before taking a step out of the room, stumbling a bit in my heels, making my way towards the stairs. 

On my way to the stairs, I was taking each step sluggishly Because I don't want to fall from it. My heels were making this whole situation even more arduous since I have no habit of wearing such things. I smoothed out the dress once more, trying to look good as I could. 

Andrew and others were laughing, before his eyes turned up to me suddenly the nervousness got me, still I keep walking down. 

I saw his expression his whole body was practically frozen, causing mine to do the same as his eyes widened. I couldn't tell what he was thinking. His eyes were just checking me. 

His footsteps approached me, he offered me his hands in order to help me get down from the stairs. He lightly kisses on my knuckles. "How Am I looking?" I whisper in his ears seeing him smirking "So stunning that I might end up taking you to my bedroom instead of the party" he chuckled when he saw me blushing hard on his words. 

Nick and sam also approached me "This is the first time I am getting jealous of my brother" Andrew smirk and kisses me on the lips to make sam more jealous. "You should" Andrew reply. "We are getting late" Nick said and we all nodded. 

A big limo car was already stopped at the entrance waiting for us to get in, soon a woman came running towards our direction "am I late?" she asked in a tired voice, her hair and her make up was almost messed because of sweating, is she came here all running? 

"Who are you?" Andrew asks her back but before she could say sam replies on behalf of her "She is my assistant Meera" Andrew and nick raise brows at sam. "Actually It was looking awkward to go on a party with a man as couples so I called her" Sam explains. 

"So I will escort you guys as your bodyguard like usual" nick says and I feel little bad for him. Later sam introduces her to us. 

We all sat in the car, Andrew makes me sit on his thighs his hands were tight grips my waist first I was a little embarrassed than it began to feel nice more likely safe. 

Meera was sitting awkwardly beside sam the sweat drops were still on her face, I offer her face wipes and my personal makeup kit through that of course gifted by Andrew, she genuinely takes it from my hand before thanking me like she seriously needed this right now. Sam was looking at Meera curiously, smile raise on his face, is they are lovers? I ask myself because they're looking damn beautiful together, even Meera's black dress was perfectly matching with Sam's outfit. While nick was sitting with the driver. 

Out of sudden, I feel goosebumps rose on my skin when I realize Andrew was kissing my neck and shoulders continuously making me giggle all the way. 

Finally, we reach our destination means to the party, Meera and I adjust our dresses before stepping out of the car. 

Hundreds of guests are already in the party, nervousness started hitting me, If Andrew wasn't with me today I definitely feel lost here.

Elina's pov

As we enter the party, everyone was just looking at me maybe because of this dress but their eyes are like drinking me in a bad way I was confused, why? 

"They all are just looking at me.." I ask Andrew and let out a chuckle "Its because you are looking beautiful" He replied

I roll my eyes to where some people were drinking something "Hey what's that can I try?" I ask him, he follows my eyes " It's a bar did you ever tried alcohol?" He asks me and I shook my head. "Then I will get you something else to drink" I nodded and he went there to get our drinks. 

He came back and handed over me my drink I take a sip "It's good" I said and he smiled at me. 

"Andrew I didn't think that you will not come!" a woman came running towards Andrew she was wearing a short mermaid dress that was hardly covering her breast and legs, Andrew mumble before giving her a smile when she hugged him. "Happy birthday, Monica," Andrew said and she thanks him, she rolls her eyes over me raising a brow "Who's she? She asks Andrew. 

" My girlfriend " he replied pulling me closer to him, she smiled dropped off suddenly "seriously Andrew? You have no taste" she gives me a disgusting look like I stole her boyfriend. " You don't know my taste, Monica, so it's better if will excuse us" Her mouth hangs open "You will regret," she said before walking away. 

"Who was she?" I question Andrew and he sighs "Her father is a rich politician and she is her father's only child, she is completely spoiled and as you can see it's her party" I nodded definitely no doubt that she is spoiled because she has no manners. 

"Elina?" someone calls me it's like a man's voice, I turn back and saw no one is there instead Sam, nick, and Meera approach us. 

"So are you enjoying ?" Sam asks while drinking wine and I shake my head in no "Then let's go to the dance floor" Meera says and we yell in yes. 

Music was too loud that easily impaired my ears but still it was enjoyable, My feet were jumping on the music itself. Slowly the rock music stop and the man came having mike in his hand he announced couples dance and I look Andrew he was having a smirk on his face and without even asking he pulled on the dancing floor, Sam and Meera also joined us. 

I set my hands in his, apparently don't know what to do next, I was already nervous enough, probably I don't want to end up falling on the floor it will be too embarrassing. 

I followed his hands as he guides me to place my hand on his shoulder as he placed his on my waist "Scared?" he asked and I nodded "Don't worry follow my lead" he replies and I did. 

I found this quite enjoyable, I was dancing freely without getting worried about falling, Andrew was helping me on each step. We have been dancing from who knows how long, not that I am really minding or had wanted to stop. 

But the song came to end, people were clapping for us some were also whistling, to be honest, I almost forgot that we are dancing in the fort of hundreds of people. 

A waitress comes carrying the tray of juices we pick our glasses, as a take sip of my juice suddenly I got a headache the world around me was spinning, my vision was getting blur. I fall on the ground and before I fully blackout I saw Andrew was asking me something I couldn't hear him clearly.

I slowly opened my eyes, I found myself in a hospital bed, an oxygen mask was on my face and a bottle of blood was connected to my veins, What happened? 

My mind was collecting all the memories from last what happens, I went to a party with Andrew, I danced with him, I drink something after that I fall on the ground than I vomited on Andrew, wait? I literally threw up on him I seriously need to apologize. 

But what the hell was on that drink that they have to take me to the hospital instead of hothouse I tried to sit on the bed a nurse who was standing on the corner helps me I thanked her and she walked out. 

"Elina Thank god you're fine," Andrew says while kissing me lightly "I am fine, what happens to me? " I reply while kissing him back. 

My face turns red when I saw the doctor and two nurses were watching us kissing I nervously smiled that doctor walk towards me having the report on his hands I think it's my report. 

"Miss roger, You are in the hospital from the past twenty-four hours someone spiked drug on your drink, and because of drug overdose you vomited blood a couple of times but it helps you to throw all the poison out your system, if you didn't vomit on the right time you might end up dying on the spot " relief rush over me when I heard what doctor said that's why blood bottle is connected to my veins. 

"I don't get it one thing who can do this to me" I question loudly to Andrew while looking at my leg "You need to take rest elie we will find this later but I promise you I will rip his skin off whoever did this" I nodded, but I am not getting a good feeling about this.

"And you can go home tomorrow after a medical check-up" doctor finishes his sentence and smiled at me.

"Elina!" someone yelled my name as I saw sam was standing at the door having flowers in his hands "I was so scared to thank god you are okay," he said hugging me tightly, Meera and nick were also there "Thank you guys," I say and they nod smilingly.
