The door went flying when the angry twins walked inside, something was wrong and he didn't even have to ask about it to know.

"Who are we papa." Edwin asked. Malicay simply ignored them but they kept asking. "Please tell us, is it true that you abandoned our people."

"I presume your uncle told you that, didn't he."

"Please father you have to tell us what happened." Eos begged.

But he said, "I will do no such thing." Eos was heartbroken to hear this, they had forgotten all about their past so quickly and he was doing everything possible to keep it that way.

"Father please, what was our mother like, who was she?" She asked, but he said nothing and just when he was about to leave she yelled, "are we really of Royal blood, are you really the Prince, is our mother really Queen talk to us, what are you hiding from us?" She cried. He couldn't stand her tears but he also couldn't let their live get ruined like his.

He furiously yelled. "Where are your uncles, Evan, Elis." Within a few seconds they were there, he grabbed Jack's collar and growled, "kneel." He said, but Jack wouldn't listen to his younger brother so easily, they were the ones who usually does the pushing around not Malicay.

"No." Jack tells him, "I will not submit to you, you are my younger brother." But when he saw that dangerous look in his eyes he could no longer look him straight in the eyes.

"Kneel." He says once more, "both of you." Jake didn't wait for his turn, he immediately obeyed. "How dare you defy me, you went behind my back and tell my children nonsense." He says.

"But brother that is the..." He was caught off guard by another growl, this time he remained silent.

"Forgive me Emerald but we were only doing what we thought was right, mother needs you, she is under a lot of pressure because of you, they need a ruler else mother is doomed." Jake said. All the anger had died off in an instant, he felt sorry for her but he had made up his mind to put that behind him and move forward.

"Am sorry, but I will not allow my children or I to return, that is something I will never allow myself to do." He said.

     "But mother."

"Enough." He yells, "now leave. I shall send my regards once she's dead." Jack filled with rage charges at him and throws him to the ground.

"You bastard." He deliver punches after punches, and cries out, "how could you, she's done everything for you."

      "Evan." Elis called out.

"Shut up, now you listen to me, at the end of the day, you're still my little brother, forget about being a Light or a Prince, you are a son to a mother you know." He cried.

"Get off me, my mind is made up, none of them will go through what I went through." Malicay says, but the children held their grounds.

"What father, you running away from your responsibilities, is that it?" Eos said, he stood up and took off his jacket,

"Am sorry Eos but that can't be me, that will be these two over here." The brothers looked at themselves, he wasn't lying after all. "Now, you will not speak of this any further do I make myself clear." He whispered in Evan's ear. "Please, I do not want them running into danger, I beg of you."

      "But father."

"There will be no buts." The glass shattered in an instant, everyone took cover, from the flying glass, the clouds grew darker and Malicay stood there without knowing what to do. Eos came out, tears in her eyes, this was the first time he made his little girl cry. "Eos." He called out. But she ran out of the room, and now that I think about it Mira was no where to be seen otherwise he would had controlled himself. As he tried to go after the girl he grew weak and fell, the brothers caught him and took him to his room.

It was late that night when he woke up, panting and sweating, he found it difficult to breath. "What have you done." He said, he stood up and ran for the girl's room but no one was there, and then the boy's room but it was empty and the twins were gone too. "Evan, Elis what have you done." He screamed. "FELIX." His voice could be heard throughout the house, he was being haunted by his past and cried all day.

The place was in total darkness, the windows were covered and a voice was heard. "Emerald." It said. But he brushed it off.

"Not now Ego." He said. He just walked around thinking of what to do, he was confused so he couldn't bring himself to a decision.

"Why not go after them." Malicay rose his head up looking at the shadows he said.

"If I do that, I will be forced to reclaim my rights as Prince, and if I don't my children will bear my burden and my only mother might pay for my crimes." He cried. "I will not allow my children to live their lives like mine, in darkness and stupid rules."

"Oh come on, we Ego's arent this sentimental, show them what your made off, claim back your children, make them pay all of them, a gifted child as you is undefeatable, here's a little secret for you, you are immortal." The voice said. That seemed to do the trick, the next thing I know Malicay was heading back home. The gates were opened and he walked in with full authority.

"Where's your Queen." He asked, but no one cared to answer him. "Where is she?" He yelled. Her footsteps were heard.

"Here I am you demon." She said. She was standing right before him, hatred in her eyes.

"Where are my they, what did you do to them." He cried.

"I should be asking you, where are my children." This was complicated, I don't understand a thing, they left didn't they so where were they.

"Listen to me Elsa, stop playing tricks I saw them die so would you stop playing innocent what have you done to them." He said. But she was more confused,

"Me kill them, I will never kill my own children, but when did you see such a thing."

"Three years ago, and three days ago." He said, she became extremely worried, she looked terrified.

"What time." She asked with fear.

      "Three o'clock." He said,

She cried out, "You fool, that's only four minutes from now, where did you find their body."

"I don't know, I didn't see where I only saw a river." She looked up at him.

"How weak are you, and you call yourself a light..., wait a river. The river of blood." She said. They ran as fast as can be, but while they were running they both stopped, she was coughing out blood and Malicay had blood all over his hand. "No, no, no. It can't be." She cried, they continued their journey but she stopped disappearing into the shadows while he marched on. He arrived there at exactly three o'clock, and found their bodies by the sea shore, dark blood all over them. He took them in his arms and mourned their deaths, no one could understand his grief. But, from their blood emerged a stake, he picked it up and was just about to try to kill himself when he heard a voice.

"Oh don't be foolish, Emerald." He looked at the queen who was smiling at him, she wasn't feeling pity or so.

       "Of course it was you."

"So what, they were the balance of this world and we needed them, I needed their power of the underworld which I could only aquire through their deaths, am so sorry Emerald I did love them." She said. He couldn't hold back his anger, just then it started raining blood. "See, Death liked my offer." She said as she danced around in the rain. "Just watch, I will raise the army of underworld." The rain drops paused in the air, I could hardly recognize Malicay with eyes like that. He picked up the stake and gently walked up to her, staggering like he could hardly walked.

"Funny, and I thought I was Death. You see, if you wanted the power of the underworld you should had told me, because I would easily had given you that power. You have no idea who you're messing with Elsa, I don't blame Death for fooling you its what he does by the way besides it did help wake me up but here's the thing you can never control me. Now I won't kill you but I will have fun trying so I say you run and I catch you." I could see demons leaking out of his body, hundreds and thousands they just kept coming. "Kill." He said, they charged with full speed and Elsa ran for it, he just stayed there holding his children. I can't say the demons followed orders, they kept leaking and spreading killing everyone they came across, then he stopped crying. "What have I done." He said. Felix came running and shouting with Mira in his arms.

"Emerald." He cried, he held her close, "I heard the news and told her everything, we were coming this way to meet you then of a sudden she stopped breathing." He said, but he wasn't responding. He looked at their bodies again and said.

      "I know."

"Malicay, what have you done, I did what you told me, I saved your sisters and her daughter but how did you know they were in danger."

But Malicay smiled. "Hey, since were friends please do me a favor, take this stake and kill me." He said. "I'll give out my soul once you do so." Felix could hardly believe his ears.

"I can't, because you are my friend." He said. A group of angry vampires and Werewolves approached him, amongst them was Richard he looked happy at the scene. Jake and Jack ran up to the scene and looked at the bodies, "what happened?" Jake asked.

"I should be asking you, my children went after you and it got them killed, someone was doing Elsa's dirty work for her." He said. Elsa came out of hiding, she could hardly stand on her two feet so the Vampires ran to support their queen. She was badly wounded, if it was a human there would be no surviving that, she had multiple wounds all over her and Malicay just watched.

"You tried to kill the queen." One said. "Your majesty, the royal family was killed and it was his doing, so many of us were killed by his demons."

"You see, I told you he was evil." Richard said.

"What do we do to him." Another said.

    "Banish him."

     "Kill him."

     "Burn him."

"Stake him." Richard said from behind.

     "What?" Jake shouted.

"No, he's been framed, Malicay would never had kill her, that was his wife." Jack shouted, but Mal remained silent.

"Wrong, I wish I finished her off, they would had done a lot more damage to her." He said.

"Call back you demons." Richard yelled.

  "Yes." Everyone shouted.

"No." He said. "Not until you take me in captive and lock me up."

     "Very well then." Richard said.

"The prince will be placed under house arrest and you can decide when he will be free to roam around before returning, if he is killed before or after you're crowned Prince then it will only be right to suspect you." Felix said as everyone agreed.

"That will be easy." Richard said.

"OK then we have a deal." He said, So, that's what happened to him, Felix came near Malicay and whispered. "You have to live." He said,

"Why? Why did you defend me?"

"Because you're my friend, and your family won't want you to die, take it as a pilgrimage. You can still live Malicay, put on a smile, become a clown do whatever pleases you so you can be happy but if I must be honest about your happiness I will have to admit that the human did make you smile a lot, a smile I have never seen so of its possible, I must ask that you resurrect her, until next time, your Highness." Now I understand the whole situation, but where's the weapon? Where did he hide it? That may be our last hope, If I could get it to Jake or Jack then maybe they might solve the issue.

"Do you have your answer." A voice sounded from behind.

      "Yes, your Majesty."

"The stake is the only thing strong enough to actually kill an Ego, they were formed from the blood and bones of his children once the three rings come together the final will appear, place it upon the stake and you have your weapon." She tells me.

"Where do I find this stake."

      "Ethan knows."

      "Ethan, what do you mean."

"The room he enters when he sleepwalks." Yes, I remember that room.

"Its the room of the Ego's, like the hall of fame." I say, she smiles at me and nods.

"Felix hid it under the eye of him who rules."

Oh, I totally forgot about the last prophesy. "I don't understand."

"Once you find it, pierce it through the heart of Ego."

"But Ethan is Ego, I can't kill him."

"Will you sacrifice millions for one life. I made a mistake that day when I cursed the house of Ego out of anger. I will not let our name be doomed because of a child."

"Listen Ethan is like my own son, I can't kill him, this family gave me a home."

"You have to do this." She pressures me, how selfish, so this is what he went through. They always had their own selfish interest before the other, they are willing to sacrifice their own to continue their blood line how cruel.

I had made up my mind, I wasn't going to kill anyone without a good reason and this wasnt good enough. "I can't betray Mirabel, she raised me from nothing I owe her and if I kill Ego all of the Ego's will die"

"Not all, only the pure hearted shall survive." She says, but now am much more confused, what does that mean.

"I don't understand, is there another way."

"No there isn't." She shouts, then it hits me, she isn't so innocent after all, in fact she's partly responsible for what happened to Malicay, then it hits me.

"Hold on, who is responsible for the death of the twins."

She had a frown on her face and yelled. "You have no right to know."

"Oh, I have everything right to know so tell me."

She thinks for a little while as if debating on whether or not to tell me, and then she nods, "They were killed by, the twins, my sons." Oh my, if Malicay knew he would grow mad or wouldn't he, for all I know he doesn't trust them so much, so he wouldn't be surprised, but still they were his brothers, she might be lying.

"Stop lying, they love her very much."

"It was an accident, I was trying to help the children leave when they walked in, they were only obeying Elsa's orders."

Anger well up inside me and I couldn't take it anymore.

"Ego, and Elsa work hand in hand, he promised to resurrect the children of he joined them and I don't think he said no. If only you make everyone confess what they are hiding the most then, maybe he might forgive them if will be his decision whether or not to spare them, Ego might submit to his decision but right now that will be impossible." She said.

       "Oh really."

"Yes. Now hurry." Hurry up, I have no idea of what to do.

        "Hey, wait up."
