MABILIS akong tumakbo matapos akong malagpasan ng jeep na pinara ko. Ano ba naman kasi si Manong, ang bilis magpatakbo naiwan tuloy ako. Pagpasok ko sa jeep ay agad akong napangiwi matapos makitang walang bakanteng pwesto. My eyes fluttered open. The first thing that greeted my hazy line of vision was the painted white ceiling.  When my sight began to clear from blurriness,  my eyes as if they have mind of their own began to survey the surroundings. The ceiling is not the only one noticeably painted in white,  the concrete walls was white as well.  Beside my bed,  there was a wooden table with a flower vase but no flowers at all. Beside the wooden table, a steel chair stood but it was empty as well,  just like the room. “Where am I?”Butterflies fluttered my stomach and my heart pounded hard inside my chest. I screamed in panic but surprised hit me when no words came out of my dry mouth.  What came out was a barely audible whimper.
