chapter 15

MONICA's. 

The girls rushed down to me believing I would give them the good news.

"How did it go Monica? I believe  you guys are now back together, but he should be here with you." Ciara peeked behind me. "Where is he?"

I burst out in to tears and knelt down unconsciously on the floor as the tears rushed down my cheeks. "I have lost him forever, I lost Arnold. Just a  night has ruined my whole life, just a night has made me lost my first love, just a night made me lost everything, just everything guys."

"Hey!" Olivia knelt in front of me and comforted me in her embraced. "You haven't lose it all Monica and you won't lost it all."

"I have Olivia. I have," I pulled myself out of her embraced. "I just wanna kill myself right now, what more am I doing on earth. I ruined everything. I caused everything."  I stood up as the tears didn't stop coming. "My parents' died because of me, I was raped because of my carelessness, I lost my womb because of me, myself, and I lost my first love just because of my foolishness. Only me, I caused it all, I ruined everything, I am the cause of my misfortune. I just wanna die right now." I ran up to my room and closed  the door from inside. 

  The girls ran after me, banging on the door and yelled out my name. 

I sat down on the floor and leaned my back on the door shedding tears. 

AMY's..

"What do we need to do girls? I hope she won't make a mistake. Blaming other's is not enough now she is blaming herself for everything, what must we do?" I cried. 

"Should we try calling Arnold? He might be of help." Ciara suggested. 

"Yes –I think I have his contact, he called me once before. Let me get my phone." Olivia rushed down to her room.

"Hurry pls!" I blurted out pacing to and fro with my hands on my waist.

"Here it is–" Olivia arrived with her phone some secs later, and tried calling him many times, but wasn't reachable. 

"Dammit! What to do?"

MONICA's.

(It was all my fault –All because of me –Pls leave Monica – Be happy – Dad – What happened –Hello!) 

Argggh! I screamed up from where I sat down, from a nightmare. I dosed off from the position I was this evening after I returned from Arnold's home. I rest my head back on the door as tears rolled down my cheek recollecting all that has happened. I picked my phone on the floor to check what the time was, it's 2:45am in the morning. I stood up from the floor and moved to the bathroom to take a bath. 

    I went back to my room in a white towel wrapped over my chest. I dressed in my night gown later and moved to the bed, covering my body with the duvet in hope to get some sleep.

  He said he'll never leave me, but he asked me to leave his house today. He didn't even consider my tears, he hate to see me cry. Didn't he saw how hurt I was, he love me right? So what – how did he expect me to live in this world without him. Come back to me Arnold –

I opened up my eyes from my sleep still remained in the same position. I can't help it, but to think about what happened yesterday. I still can't believe I have lost Arnold for good. I rouse up from the bed to go take my shower. 

  I heard some noises at the door after I laid back on bed. It was the girls banging on the door, calling out my name. 

"Open up pls, could you at  least eat something."

Then, my phone beeped out. I picked to check on the caller ID, which shows 'Victor' on the screen. I switched off my phone and flung it away, only God knows where. Tears kept rolling down my cheeks.

AMY's.

  We got downstairs, all looking worried pacing forth and back. I threw myself on the dining chair, then doctor's Emilia name popped out of my head.

  A knocked on the door brought us out of our trances.

"That should be the doctor."

Ciara went to the door and opened up, but to our amazement she wasn't the one. I felt  frustrated and looked away to another direction.

"Hi girls!" He wagged his hand up to us, but everyone kept silent. He said further; "I'm sorry to be here early this morning, but I have been trying to reach Monica since this morning. Isn't she here with you guys? I'm worried she isn't at work yet, she is always punctual but–"

"She has locked herself up in her room. She is not responding to anyone, she couldn't even eat anything since yesterday. We are worried just as you are." Lilian looked up to him, rubbing her palm together. 

"What –But why? Did anything went wrong between you guys? Did you had a fight?"

"That is not the case here and just stop asking questions. You know nothing about what went wrong." Ciara said.

"But she is my friend, don't I have the right to know something?"

"You have been a friend to her for a long time now, but you don't even understand or know anything about Monica, not even her feelings. It would be nice you keep quiet and let's think straight pls." Lilian cried.

The doctor banged in worriedly, asking us questions we can't be able to answer. We don't know the state she was. We don't even know if she was fine or not.

  We went back to the entrance, then the doctor knocked on the door once more.

"Monica! It is me your mother. Could you at least open up the door for me– Monica! Are you in there? I'm sure you can hear me." She said in a loud pitched voice.

"Can someone explain what is happening? Why did she have to lock herself up in a room? What is going on? I'm curious here."

"Young man –We should be worried about how to get the door open, not  asking questions. Did you get that?" Doctor Emilia said. 

"Yes ma'am, I'll wait patiently then. Can I try my best too?" He dipped his hand into his pocket.

"Sure, let's see if she would open up for you." The doctor agreed. 

ARNOLD's. 

"Hurry up Loveth. Let's leave! We gonna miss the flight." I called out to her.

"Alright bro–I'm done." She moved down to the living room as she responded.

The luggage are being kept in the car already. We moved into the car, then I  zoomed off to the airport.

"Brother –Are you sure of your decision? You don't wanna change your mind? It is not too late bro." Loveth lowered her voice to me.

"Yes, I have made my decision and I believe in no time, she's  going to move on."

"How sure are you bro? What is wrong with you? I see no reason why you are doing this." Her voice came out loud. 

I got frustrated and halted the car in a race, which made us lose balance. "Just drop this! What is wrong with you? When did you start caring so much about Monica? We are leaving for the states and that is my final decision," I pointed my finger towards her. "No more word about Monica, you get that?" I yelled at her.

MONICA's.

I stood up from my bed and wiped up my tears. Then I headed to my drawer beside the bed. There, I found some kind of drugs in a bottle. I gasped –I just can't certainly live without Arnold.  I opened up the bottle and poured the drugs on my hand which I can't even count how much it was.
