MasukThey were all bedrooms richly decorated with huge four poster beds, but each one decorated differently, making each room have its own individual personality. When I came across the seventh door. I could feel energy radiating on the other side of the door, someone was inside. I could see the soft green glow of their Aura, which meant one of two things, they were either an earth witch or human. I just hope it's Becca and not a Coven Elder.
Luck must be on my side, upon opening the door. I discover Becca sitting on a metal chair in the centre of the room, her head slumped to the side, she glanced up when I stepped in closing the door behind me. Her hands and feet duct taped to the legs and arms of the chair. Her blonde hair matted with blood and sweat, she was bleeding from her forehead, a large gash that went from her eyebrow and into her hairline.
When I first walked in, I froze at the sight of her. She lost weight; I don't even know how it is possible to lose that much weight in a week. She was sweating profusely. She smelt strongly of urine, like they hadn't let her leave the chair. Becca's skin was pale almost grey looking. Her usually vibrant eyes were dark and sunken in, the colour sad and hollow. Tears stained her gaunt cheeks. Her lips were swollen and dry. The cracks in her lips bleeding slightly, her clothes wrinkled and stained in her blood and urine. She was shaking uncontrollably. Tears running silently down her cheeks. It looked like she had done nothing but cry her cheeks are stained with her makeup leaving streaks down her face, her eyes smudged with mascara. Her eyes puffy and bloodshot.
Becca stared at me, like she didn't know if I was real or a hallucination. When I stepped towards her, she flinched and whimpered. I placed my hands on her cheeks gently, forcing her to look at me. Her blue eyes staring back at me, filled with tears of relief. "You're really here, it's really you?"
I had to hold back my tears hearing her weak broken voice, nodding my head and confirming what she said. She looked fragile, broken. What have they done to her? Guilt hitting me like waves hitting the beach. I couldn't speak a lump forming in my throat, I tried to swallow my mouth suddenly feeling dry. What could I say? sorry didn't seem like it was enough. I started undoing the duct tape as fast as possible, the tape bulling the small blonde hairs from her wrists, getting one of her hands free first, she started undoing the other, with shaking hands and she savagely clawed at the tape, while I untapped her feet. Becca’s nails started bleeding and tearing like tissue paper, as she managed to pull one side of the tape back releasing her other hand that was bruised from struggling against her restraints.
Once she was free from the chair, I helped her stand, she clung to me, her legs not being able to support all her weight. We needed to get out of here, I tried to mist out of the room while clutching onto her. I could feel the magic building before it fizzled out. “Shit” They had spelled the house. Magic wasn't an option. The only way out was leaving the house, then getting outside and hoping they hadn't spelled the entire property. I could get in fine, getting out was starting to prove quite difficult.
Making my way to the window in the room and peering out. I knew Becca wouldn't make the jump, let alone manage to climb out the window without falling and breaking something. I wished Aamon was here he would be able to carry her. He would keep us safe. I know he would risk anything for me and Becca, god how I wished he were here, he would think of something or create a distraction. I suddenly felt foolish for trying to do this on my own.
Looking at Becca, the only choice left was the stairs. Holding Becca against me, I started half dragging her towards the door. Peering into the large hallway, I looked in both directions before shuffling us out the door towards the stairs. Once to the top step Becca grabbed the banister to help support her weight. The stairs suddenly looked daunting. This was not what I had planned. Get in get out. That was my plan. Now I know why Meredith wanted me to wait.
Becca and I shakily made our way down the stairs. Every step was a struggle for Becca’s legs, my arm tightly wrapped around her waist holding her steady, while she clung to the bannister for support. The front door was getting closer, we just needed to make it outside. Getting to the bottom step, we head for the door, when suddenly Michael is blocking our exit. Where did he come from?
Panic kicking in, I turn to the room off the side of the stairs and Agatha and Beryl appear out of nowhere. Spinning around, I notice more coven members we are completely surrounded, trapped.
"You didn't think it was going to be that easy, did you?" Asked Agatha. A menacing smile was plastered on her face. Becca flinched and stumbled onto the stairs, trying to get away from her, I stepped in front of Becca protectively, bracing myself for what I know is about come. I could hear the whispers of coven members filling the room as they looked on with watchful, judging eyes. I knew they weren’t going to help. I don’t know what Agatha has been saying, but by the looks on their faces, I knew one thing they weren’t going to come to our aid. The chatter dying down as they made their way closer leaving nothing but deafening silence and cold glares. We were in trouble and I didn’t know how to get us out, their were to many of them.

"We'll be staying here until the engagement is over." He said as they got down from the car, and her bags were taken inside."Oh my God, is that the Prince?" A passerby screamed pointing in their direction, cameras were already up as more people gathered,"Oh my goodness, she's the one," they said whispering, Janine was already feeling uncomfortable as she tried to hide away, Ethan pulled her to his side, grabbing her shoulders tight making her wince at the pain,"Yes, she's the one. My future bride, our future queen, " he said smiling, and looking at her, she forced a smile avoiding eye contacts with the crowd that now stood in front of them,"Wow, how lucky!!! I'd trade anything to be in her shoes," one said. Janine felt the tears swell up in her eyes, batting her eyelashes immediately to stop them, her throat felt dry, her stomach felt sick, the fear which drowned her, the reality that she was s
*Juliet*Though it had come early with the whiteout squall Sam and I’d had on the Isle Royale, the winter started out like any other. Children and adults alike brought their snow gear out of the cedar chests and armoirs and prepared to salt the streets and sidewalks.Driving was a bit more treacherous, but we’re used to this inconvenience, and with Julia still at home another year before kindergarten, Sam and I had only rare occasion to leave home anyway, weekly for mass and once a month for groceries and pantry staples. And it wouldn’t be the winter season without a few cold-weather aggravations as far as we were concerned.True to his word, with nothing else to do on the farm, Sam tore our bathroom apart and built a fine vanity with double sinks and a GE Textolite countertop. He made a special trip to the city and brought home and installed shining
