"Tuddd....tudddd, tudduggg"A loud thunder roared as a strong rain started to pour.
"A rainy-thursday, afternoon" I whisper as I woke up from a sound sleep. I think of what to do since my class schedule was just ended this morning. I was so tired of my review earlier so that I quickly dozed off as my body touched my soft bed. I was about to stand up when my phone rang. It is an unknown caller, but I managed to answer it.
I took a deep breath before I speak. "Hello" I spoke politely. " Yes, hello. Is this Ms. Sofie Xander?" Said the other line. "Yes I am, how may I help you?" I answered in a calm tone. "Ms. Sofie, did you forgot that you're having a rehearsal of your speech, this after...?" As I heard about 'speech' thing, I ended the call not even letting him finish his sentence and I quickly jump off my bed. "Dang! How did I forgot" I scold myself. I think it is because I was so busy on my review for the coming final exam.
I didn't bother to ask who it is, 'cause I already know who the caller was. He is my friend, Jade, our Student Council President.
I head to our school wihout changing my clothes. Luckily I wore a black bodycon dress just above the knee which revealed my hourglass body and paired it with some high-cut sneakers. Our school is just 300 meters away from my house, so I was just running under the rain hugging my written speech.
Not so long, I already reached the school gate. I breath heavily like some criminal chased me. After I calmed my self I started to run again, because our school stadium is a bit far from the gate. "Darn it, I am late" I cursed to my self. I couldn't afford to missed just a couple of minutes of my speech rehearsal. 'Cause I have to prepare for myself also for the ceremony this evening.... I run so fast when someone blocked my way and resulted to loss my balance and fell to the ground.
"Ahhhhh....ouchhh" a loud scream skip from my mouth. My knees and elbows were now burning and aching."Oh my god, my speechbook" I cried as I saw my writings soaked in the mud-water.
"Damn girl! HAHAHA" Jade muttered in an evil tone. "What do you think your doing Jade?" I said angrily.
"You're so serious, my girl, I just want to play with you" he said with a wink which irratates me more. "Did you see that? What can I do now? You ruined everything!" I let out a bunch of questions while pointing to my poor papers that soaked in the mud. "Oh, I'm sorry" he said and smiled at me "Sorry? Go to hell, Jade!" And as I said those words, I can feel those burning glares surrounds me, like they wanna kill me. I stares at Jade's eyes, I can see how startled he was. "Oh my god, I'm in trouble now" I whisper to myself.
By the way, I am currently studying at Christians' University. I was known as a very considerate girl, who has long patience. But this time they witnessed something odd about me.
