“No more tears now; I'll take upon revenge” -Mary Stuart
~~~
Blake and Destinie entered the room with the man and his three children. He was sobbing relentlessly. "Stand, Let me see those children" She ordered. He cried even harder and handed them to her reluctantly. She smiled at them and they smiled lightly, not aware of how dangerous she really was. She grinned and placed an incantation on them then on the father and handed them back to him. She chanted twice before a portal opened like in the other chamber. "There. Go through that portal. You shall be teleported to Pennsylvania. You will have a new life. Your life shall be successful. You will meet a nice woman who loves you and your kids. Forget this place"
"Don't ever step into Oregon or you will be drawn back to this hell hole and I won't help you next time" She commanded. He nodded and held his kids tightly. With a quick bow, he stepped through the portal and the portal was closed. Destinie sighed and she nodded at Blake. They left and locked the door. They went to the last chamber and she breathed heavily. She opened the door and they locked it shut, not letting a second pass by.
They saw them hugging and the man pleaded once more. "Please miss, I beg you. Do what you wish with me but leave my wife and daughter alone" He bowed and pleaded. "Stand, all of you" She ordered. They stood and shivered. They hugged each other. "Come here girl" She spoke. The girl walked up to Destinie and she saw... hope. The girl hoped that her family would be okay, that Destinie wasn't so mean and would have mercy on them.
The witch kneeled down and whispered an incantation then whispered something to the girl. "You are brave, little one. I won't let what happened to me, happen to you" The girl hugged her and smiled before rushing to her mom and dad. Destinie rose and placed an incantation on them. Blake held her tightly as Destinie opened the portal.
They thanked her. She looked away and Blake put a small amount of pressure on her shoulder. She looked up at the family. "Be free. I warn you, Grayson. I can see how noble you are but don't ever step foot again in Oregon. Be happy and have what my family and I didn't. Don't mention what happened today to anyone" He nodded and thanked her before they stepped into the portal. Once the portal closed, she felt the aching pain of her family's loss and fell, sobbing.
Blake held her and helped her stand up. She rose shakily and hugged him. He held her by the waist tightly as if that way no harm would come to her, as if the past would leave and never haunt her ever again. Oh, how he wished he were that powerful to make her forget. He'd do anything in a heartbeat, just so she could be happy.
"It's alright Lucy, it's alright. You did a good thing. People can say what they want but I know you aren't that monster they think you are. You are more than that. You are everything beautiful that comes from something terrible that happened. You are a creature who couldn't be hurt by mankind. Not how they wanted at least" He said honestly. Even when he saw the worst in her, he knew she was good and innocent deep inside of the hard shell she hid behind.
"I am a monster. I can't love. I enjoy revenge on them. I made a place where they live, die and all over again. Only some ever leave. And I let some people in so that they have more kids but eventually they all leave. They've hurt me so much that they've torn my soul in two. I feel so unloved, so alone, Blake. No one loves me nor is there any single person I love truly" she looked down. At least not someone she could love. "You aren't. Now my queen, do not let your crown fall. Come on, we have a party to get to. Don't want them getting all wild and now you have someone to care for. She'll grow to love you and you will love her. I love you too... You are everything I could expect for as a best friend and leader" We have someone to care for, he thought to himself.
"You are right, as always. What should I (we) name her?" She hid her true question. "Hmm. Well her birth name was Mehta..." He thinks. "I know! Rosemary" She said eagerly. "Good thinking. Rosemary, it shall be! Rosemary Scar. Daughter of Destinie Luciana Scar" 'and mine' Blake smiled as he thought that. "Rosemary Blue Scar" Destinie adds. "Excellent. Where is she?" Blake was too focused on other things as he asked. "She is outside" They smiled and she wiped her tears away. She put a blank face and they left the chamber.
They closed the door and saw the little girl waiting there. When she saw them, she giggled and ran to them. She went to Blake and hugged his legs. He picked her up and she giggled. "Dada" Destinie smiled lightly. "Yes, Rosemary. That's your daddy. Let's go. We don't want anyone getting too hectic" She looked away. Blake stared at Destinie, shocked, but then grinned.
They went up the stairs and to the party. When they arrived, they were waiting patiently. "Good job everyone! Now... let the party begin!" Everyone cheered. "Bryce, are they in their homes?" Destinie asked as she saw her and Blake's Beta. "Yes, my Queen. They are back in the village. Some tried to attack and others ran straight to their homes. Most were crying" He smiled. She let a small smile show.
"That's wonderful. Now enjoy the feast" Bryce nodded and walked to others of his pack as he stared at her. "I'm going to take Rosemary to your bedroom, " Blake said. "Great. I have to attend this party" They smiled and Blake left. Destinie turned and motioned for the goblin Dj to come up. He began playing his music and everyone started dancing. Destinie watched as Heather, who was uncomfortable, was surrounded by creatures she had hated all her life. Creatures who were now acting like normal humans.
They were partying, laughing, and having fun. The girl's beloved attempted to make her dance. The young queen headed to her and as she passed, creatures moved apart like the Red Sea. They feared the tiny girl for being the Daughter of the Devil. The king of the North curtsied when he saw her and Heather did too, awkwardly. "Heather, my dear. How are you enjoying your new... body?" Destinie looked her up and down.
"I... I have to admit I feel stronger and not tired anymore. I don't have to blink or breath. My eyesight is so clear. Thank you for this... uh, lovely wedding" She said, a bit shy. "Why you are very welcome! I hope you are enjoying the party. And now you have a beloved who shall protect you. I have to go attend to some business but have fun" she turned to the pack and her most trusted guards.
"Party is over at 6 a.m. Just enough time for the party to go full-on and just perfect for their departure. Don't want the sun hurting them severely" Destinie smiled coldly and turned. She left to her study and used her magic to make the room sound-proof. She sat comfortably in her chair and started working on her papers. As she was working on a few, she noticed one from the Gods' council. The rulers of all people saying she must stop interfering in mortal life affairs or she would be dealt with severely.
She glared at the paper and placed it on top of her important pile. She continued through her papers when someone knocked. She permitted entrance and Fin came in, worried. "What is it Fin?" Destinie continued working, not looking up. "My Queen. I'm so sorry to interrupt you-" He began apologizing but she stopped him. "It's alright Fin, continue" Tonight wasn't the night to be annoyed by trivial things like apologies. "My queen. The wolves have finished their dinner and the Cyclopes, and the Vamps. There is just a tiny problem" He looked down. Destinie sighed, impatient.
"What is it Fin. Spit it out already!" She ordered. "My queen, the vamps, cyclopes, and wolves want more. They won't stop insisting and some even hurt my trolls. They are outside, demanding for more. Even their kings can't stop them. Well, all except the Alpha Wolf Lucae. He is a dog. He wants more" Fin looked down. "Fin, Stay here" Destinie stood up from her chair and her outfit changed, her hair was enflamed with blue fire.
Her crown shone so everyone saw she was Queen. The normal crown was replaced with a thorn-made crown. She walked out of the study and everyone stopped what they were doing and bowed as they saw the crown. Everyone knew where that crown had come from. She walked out to the forest and saw creatures, hungry and desperate for more flesh and blood. Daniel and Heather stood outside, Daniel attempting to force them to calm down. The Cyclopes king could be seen trying to control his people. Lucae was simply sitting.
"Who do you think you are, hurting my trolls? You should be rolling in happiness for what I have given you! You know very well how I do this!" Destinie yelled and many were tempted to bow as they saw her crown. It commanded fear and respect. It was a gift from her father, after all, a gift handcrafted by him out of a tree in Tartarus. "Well, how about we just eat them already, then we move on from place to place," A random Cyclops said, hungry.
"Are you that stupid Cyclops. These people killed my family. I will get revenge! You are my creatures. You LIVE because I am letting you live!!" She yelled and many flinched in fear of her as her enflamed hair turned pitch black. A shadow formed behind her, dark and mean. "But if you die we are free of you. I say we kill her. She's just a witch!" A vampire cackled.
"A powerful witch, as well as Hades's Daughter" Destinie's eyes turned pure black as she raised her hand. The Cyclops fell into the ground and screamed. He slowly withered and turned into ashes. She smirked. She pointed at two Vampires and light came out. The vampires that were behind her hissed and turned away.
They screamed and tried to outrun it but by then they were pure ash. She turned to the wolves and made silver bullets appear and kill four wolves.
They howled and died, falling hard.
"That should teach you never to mess with me. I had said this since the first time you came to me when I was 12 years old! You dare defy me, you die. I give you everything. The one thing that is forbidden is eating those villagers unless I give permission!"
"Now another thing is forbidden. You shall not eat or touch the little girl. She is now for me to raise and make my spawn. You dare hurt her, and you will die slowly and painfully. Let this be a warning. Party is over!” she turned, angered by the disrespect.
"Bryce get these people out of here. I don't want any more disturbances. Daniel, Heather. I wish you the best. Control your undead" Destinie turned and walked into the house while everyone was bowing and thanking her. She went to her room and saw them sleeping. She smiled and changed into comfortable clothes, lying beside them and falling asleep.
Things had gone relatively well for us since we’d moved in. I was spending a lot of my free time painting walls and ceilings.Xander had given me carte blanche when it came to decorating, which was nice, and not once did he say, or even appeared not to like my choices colours, so I went a little wild. I’m not really used to be given so much freedom, beyond that, he’s turning into a great enabler.
Imose woke up to the crow of the Cock. The room was dimly lit. The oil lamp glowed lazily. Getting up she picked the broom made from Palm fronds laying beside the mud bed and walked out of her hut to sweep her father's compound.Imose was an only child. Her mother had died at her birth, and her father, Chief Idemudia had refused to marry another wife for he loved his wife dearly. He raised Imose with the help of his sister who later died of a strange ailment. People called Imose cursed but to Chief Idemudia, she was his priceless jewel. The symbol of the love between him and his late wife.The night had given way for the day by the time Imose was through with sweeping the large compound. She went into her father's hut to greet him. She saw him seated on his rafter chair inhaling snuff
A cidade já era visível a uns vinte quilômetros, ela ficava no pé da montanha, e o terreno só subia até chegar nela, o pântano permitia uma visão clara do horizonte, e era visível só longe o formato de prédios, algumas luzes muito fracas eram visíveis também.Chegando mais perto formas mais específicas começaram a se distinguir, quanto mais ao centro da cidade mais altos os edifícios, todos de corres parecidas, todos marrons, o mesmo marrom do pântano, o mesmo tipo de terra formava o pântano e era usada como base para construção.Andando em direção a ela não era visível mas do alto podia-se notar a típica forma de design urbano dos Ohla, nas laterais mais ao longe da cidade residências de trabalhadores de grande porte físico, casas altas com portas largas, feita para os lenhadores, quebradores de rocha entre outros, depois uma série de casas bem menores, feitas para os trabalhadores pequenos,como coletores, pescadores entre outros, os prédios mais ao ce
Wizkid's samba started playing and Shewa started crooning her finger at me to get me to come and dance.I shook my head but she insisted and dragged me up from my seat.I quickly ran behind Titi and shouted that she should help me. She took mercy on me and shielded me from Shewa. Before long Shewa got distracted.During the 'Sare wa gba' part, Shewa would run forward and back, then she followed it up with whining down low. She stood still for a few seconds, then started kick turning during samba.Kemo took notice and quickly supplied a dance step that would follow after. She bent slightly and turned her knee inward, biting her tongue as she danced.We all started brain storming the dance steps that would look good but would still be simple enough for the majority to do.The song was played on repeat and by the third listen, we had constructed an entire choreo though it was still rough around the edges.We were no longer required to pe
