"He is in the chilling room with the other guys", I replied, as we both moved to where the rest of our cult were.

We entered into the room, sat down and spoke about a lot of things in general, including our 'destroy by shame'.

"So Denola", Captain looked at me as he mentioned my name. Well Captain is our cult leader, he isn't as popular as me and my cousins but, he has lots of connections and his father also owns a multi billion dollar empire which is a little bit bigger than my dad's. "It is time for your own destroy by shame".

I looked at his face. "So soon?".

"Apparently yes", he replied. "Derin has done his, Chinedu has done his, same as  Louise, Femi and Mask. So it remains you and Demi but, you're going first before Demi".

"Wow!!, So it is time to embarrass myself", I asked.

"Apparently yes", Mask replied and the whole group bursted into laughter including Demi.

"Can you guys please stop laughing?", Feeling irritated by their laugh. They didn't stop laughing, instead they made it more loud and long.

"But when were doing our own, embarrassing ourselves, you were the one that laughed the hardest ooo", Chinedu said.

"Don't mind him, he is going to do it Sha, that's what me I know", Femi added.

"Fine, so who is the girl", I asked.

"We are yet to decide now", Captain replied. "But before the end of this week we will let you know". The girl we pick is who we call victim, and we don't just pick any girl, we must have a good reason to pick a girl, because we are talking about destroying a girl future here.

I remember when Captain did the 'destroy by shame' for Kofo, a very rude girl he hated with passion, she was proud and aggressive, all of us in cult all hated her, so she was the first victim of destroy by shame. Femi did his second and the list goes on like that.

"Alright", I said. "It is getting really late now, so I'll be heading home now".

"Okay", Captain replied.

"Derin", I called. "Will you lock the play house once all of you are going?".

"Yes, sure thing bro", he answered.

"F**k!!!", I yelled hitting my hand on the steering as I drove.

I smiled when I remembered when Derin, had done his own last year, and how funny it was then, we thought nobody would know it was him since he wore a mask, and we were not wrong, until his mum recognized him through the birth mark on his back. She had almost beaten him, a twenty one year old man, and his Dad, my Dad younger brother, had blocked his bank account that year and even went as far as kicking him out of the house, and I had to feed him for that whole year.

How did we even get into this mess?

I didn't worry much, because I am sure that whosoever they would pick, would fall into my ' destroy by shame' quickly, I mean it me yours sincerely, Denola Doyle, the most popular and the most handsome.

I was about walking out of the school gate, after a long day at school, listening to boring lectures, when i saw my cousin Derin. I walked up to him, and shook him.

"Any news yet?", I whispered.

"Not yet", he replied. "Captain said, maybe you should handle two girls".

"What?", I exclaimed. "Two girls, he must be daydreaming, but why?".

"He said he can't seem to make up his mind between the two", he replied.

"I guess this guy is drinking again", I growled. "Where is he? Let me go and meet him, is he still in school?".

He looked at me and held me by my arms. "Denola, take it easy, am not sure if he is still in school, but go and check".

I didn't answer Derin back, as I stormed back into the school in anger to look for Captain. Then someone bumped into me.

Can't you see?". I asked.

"Am sorry",she replied, she looked up at me. "Am really sorry".

"I don't need your sorry", i yelled out. "And am pretty sure you bumped into me purposely".

"What??", she asked with a little bit of anger laced in her voice.

"Shut up, and look at my face properly, am not someone you attention seekers should mess with".i replied smiling.

Who are you? Who are you calling attention seeker? And who are you telling shut up to?". She asked.

"Stop pretending, and stop acting like you don't know me, when am pretty sure that you bumped into me so your can get my attention", I grinned. "Well sorry to break your fragile heart, but am not interested in thrash like you".

"Thrash?did you just call me thrash?", She hissed. "And do you know who I am?, also where Is your respect?".

Some students on the road had started gathering, waiting for a fight I guess. I pointed my right hand at her and said,

"Look, I don't care who you are, more so why do I need to respect you", i frowned.

"Well young man, I work in this school as a assistant mathematics lecturer", she snapped. "And you need to respect me because I'm sure am older than you, you are probably my younger brother age".

I looked at her with rage in my eyes, first it was my cult group and now her. I kept staring at her until, my brain picked. "Oooooh, it you again, ti..wa...la....de".

She looked at my face closer and I guess she recognized me also.

I didn't say anything as i stood opposite her staring, and then I walked away.

I sighted Captain and Femi from afar, guessing he must have been looking at me while I was pouring out my anger at that assistant mathematics lecturer.

"Hey you", I shouted as I got closer to him.

"Bro wassup?", He replied smiling.

"Don't bro me", I told him whilst I dragged him away to another corner along with Femi, so people would not hear our conversation. "What am I hearing from Derin. That I would do two 'destroy by shame'."

He just smiled looking at me, at the same time he whispered into Femi ear. "Guy, am serious ooo, doing one destroy by shame is already too much, now you are talking about two".

"I have changed my mind", he replied. "But you have to do it ooo".

"As long as it is not two", I said.

"It is one person".

"Fine, who is it?", I asked, and I could see Femi giggling at the back. Why was he even laughing?
